Your video on Fujian foods is very refreshing and enlightening. You are one of the very few Westerners I believe who really understand the role of foods plays in Chinese culture. I'm looking forward to more Chinese food videos from you. Thank you.
I've been to China, and I lived for 30 years in Los Angeles (mostly in the 626) so I have eaten every ingredient that you tasted, including the sharks fin and the blood custard (& I think that I saw 'fish-maw' too) - but I haven't had all of those exact Fujian dishes. I even make that Min Sauerkraut & Bamboo banchan myself. Fujian Cuisine is one of the best in China (after Cantonese, Mandarin, & Sichuan). Wuhan and Xian also have great food.
My family is from Fujian. Thank you for visiting and showcasing the cuisine. I'm surprised you didn't eat their famous Fujian seafood noodles, it's my childhood favourite ❤
the fired buns are way too big. I like the small ones that can be eaten with one bite and it's got a juicy core. Too bad it's really hard to find those smaller types anymore.
There are also many types of fried buns in China! What you like might be the Shanghai/Suzhou type. There is also a famous type of fried buns in Henan that goes typically with breakfast soups.
Thanks!
🙏🙏❤❤ THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Thanks for visiting my House in Fujian.
Thanks for having me 🤪

The fish balls are awesome
Hope the video brought you some positive vibes for the day! And yes, the fish balls were very tasty!

Haha... nice!

I did see some places selling those actually... The big ones were really good as well though!
