The oyster cake and the vermicelli noodle soup is very much the same as here in the phils since most chinese in the phils originally came from fujian province in china.. The vermicelli noodle is called o-a misua (oyster misua soup). I often make that oyster omelet at home. It is paired with pickled raddish or pickled young papaya.
