I use Cernit, and it says 130 degree C on the packing, then I always keep my oven on 125 degree C 5 less that they want - this way I can leave the clay in the oven for hours without it turning black or changing color. thees canes I only bake for 5 min, this way they are still kind of soft and easy to cut! Hi there CrixJoki, my spiral ring was a gift from my husband, from some jewlery store online, sorry I don't know witch one. The text on it says "I am enough" a thing I have to remind my self of a lot of times, so I just love that ring

Can you do a coffee bean cane? I'm having trouble with mine I know it's probably easy but I don't know what I'm doing wrong the darker brown mixes with the lighter brown help please Thank you
Hi Kari a coofee been cane, hmm that should be fun to make, I actually didnt know there were more browns in a coffe been... I will have to make some research...❤️ but a great idea
I tried making a cane and it just crumbled as I tried cutting it, I think I'll try your advise and get a new sharp blade and experiment with baking time.
Also remember to knead the clay well before you start, that will also help you! Otherwice heat the done cane a little, that makes it soft and easy to cut 💖
Sorry what? Why I cut them into small parts of 5 cm length? Cause it is easy to sell on my sales exhabitons. Or why I don't make more cane at the time? Cause I don't need a lot of the same cane, I don't feel like drowning in cane. 😋 If you think it is to small for a 1:12, then it is not 😋 Or what are you think of?
