Always enjoy your videos. These are beautiful flower canes. Can't wait to try. Love that you've shown how to make with and without a pasta machine. The manner in which you made the cane without a pasta machine is brilliant.
I am a 70 year old italian lady. I've been watchng your videos for years because they tour are so good. Unfortunately I dont'speak english, but now with the translation in the video. I can finally understand your advice. Thank you
I love this tutorial! Thank you so much, ive used it as 1 large flower with 6 petals and inserted a yellow spot in the centre. And i like the fact that you made a pasta machine free version.
Hello Fiona, so lovely to meet you and see your beautiful work at Maker's Central yesterday! Can't wait to go through all videos. Absolutely adored the tiny food you had on display!
So lovely to meet you too, wasn't it a fantastic show as always!! Yes, Alan's miniatures are just superb. Have fun with your polymer clay, and hopefully I'll see you again soon at one of the events 🙂
Thanks so much Christine, I have already done some for tiles, both as a free RUclips one for tiled look jewellery, and as a doll's House one on Etsy. Both can be adapted for whatever size tile you like 😉🙂
After watching many of your kaleidoscope tutorials, I find myself wondering if you have ever made any of them with translucent clay mixed in. It occurs to me that they would make beautiful sun-catchers. I recently bought a 1 pound block of Cernit translucent and really want to try doing a kaleidoscope cane with it. I would think they would make beautiful earrings also, where the light can pass through them. This tutorial would be a nice simple one to try it out. Maybe this will be my project for the day. Thank you for your many wonderful tutorials. I am such a fan. Have a wonderful day. ❤
Yes, if your plan is to have a translucent finished look then those clays work perfectly for that. Have fun experimenting, and I can't wait to see what you create 🙂
Hello Fiona, I was wondering if you have a social page like Facebook or instagram where people can send you photo’s of their creations from your tutorials?
Hi Cassandra, I have links to my facebook and Instagram pages in the video blurb above and you can tag me on both platforms so I can see what you have created :) I love seeing people's work, thank you so much :)
Thank you for this one :) I don't have a pasta machine, so the last part where you did the alternate really helped me
That's great, thanks so much 🙂
You are so kind to make without a pasta machine
Well I know not everyone has/wants to use one, so its good to know this cane looks just as good without using one 😉Thanks so much Melissa 🙂
