My beard is also very think like yours. I plan to grow it out for another 2 years just to see how it grows. These next 2 years i will not be touching the beard much besides maybe trimming the sides. You have pretty good genetics. I'm doing a yeard. And right now, I'm at my 6 month growth. And my 6month beard is not as good and full as yours. I think I'll hit my terminal length at probably 9months of growing. So genetics are definitely on your side 😀. I think even after growing for a year, you didn't hit your terminal length because it looks fuller at the bottom. One suggestion though. Keep the beard. Don't shave. You look cool with the beard. Yeah, it’s one of the hardest points. Use a trimmer to put in a feint line. Then hold your finger across that line as you use a razor to take off the hair so you don’t go too low.

Some days I really hate it, some days I feel my commitment growing stronger. My cousin had a full beard at 16 hahhaa... mine came in at older age I’m now 41 and just found out I can grow a descent beard because of quarantine hahahha... I’ve been shaving since I was 16 so I never knew what I had under till now. I’m going 6 months no trim. I’m on my 6th week and feel like crap but I need to hang in there. I’m in an in between stage so at some days I’m like cool and other days I’m like fucken grow out already hahahaha

Are you supposed to use different shampoo and conditioner for your beard and moustache than for the top back and sides of your head? Also, at what point in facial hair development does it get to the point that you need actual shampoo and conditioner rather than just rubbing over your entire face with body wash? Because right now I only have a brown fuzz moustache and sideburns.

If my beard was that dense, I would never shave it. Maybe trim the bottom, but that thing is a beast. My beard went terminal half way through my yeard and by the time I finished, I just decided to kill the poor thing.
Yeah I’ve been thinking about trimming the bottom to give it more shape. I might get my barber to do it on Wednesday. Then I’ll push on a get som e more growth from it. Ahhhh terminal growth is a shame especially within a year 🧔
