This may be my new all time favorite border of all times. The directions, as always, were very clear and easy to follow. Works for either a boy or girl--some birders seem girly to me. Will definitely be using this one a lot for the blankets I donate to Children's Hospital.
Brilliant! UK instructions, at last, I will watch your videos now without constantly having to subscribe into UK terms which can be frustrating. Well done you! THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for demonstrating how to tie off when completing the border! I just watched two other videos on this border stitch that just ended the video without showing this. As a fairly new crocheter I couldn't figure out how to make the tying off look right. So thank you for seeing it through to completion.
Thank you for this video. There are a lot of them showing how to do the stitch but you were the only one who thought to show how to finish it. I’d have never figured it out on my own.
Initially I thought this was too hard for me to do. So glad I carried on with it. Finished off my grandchild’s cot blanket beautifully. Will definitely be using this method again. Thank you 😊
I was writing a pattern and didn't know the best way to start a row of LDC because I had only worked them in the round and this video showed me the best way. Thank you!! :)
Very nice video with easy to follow instructions. I was afraid this would be too difficult but it was so pretty I wanted to give it a try and I'm so happy with the results. I put it on a small knitted blanket I made for a nephew's baby due this month. I think they will love it and keep it for the baby girl's blankie later. Thanks for the easy to follow video. A crocheting granny..
Glad I didn't go with the 1st video I watched. Yours is so much better. Details and close up of the stitches is very helpful. I'm going to use it on a baby blanket I'm making. Thanks.
Many, many thanks for this tutorial, it's the second edging l've learned from you and l'm so very grateful. I'm presently on the way around the edge of a blanket for our 16th grandchild who is expected to arrive by God's grace next week 🤗
Thank you so much, you’re a great teacher, I love that you show what it looks like as you’re going, you explain it in such an easy way without becoming repetitive and I honestly can’t thank you enough! I must tell you too that almost everyone in my crochet groups tend to recommend you first 👍🏻
This was so helpful, bcuz I was stuck on anther persons same exact stitch that they didn’t show how to complete the end! Your directions worked perfectly! Thank you so much Bella Coco! 👍😉
I love this border. I just finished a baby blanket for my great nephew, due at the beginning of May. It finishes the blanket beautifully. I didn’t use a pattern for the blanket, I just made 36 solid granny squares and crocheted them together. I love it. Thank you for teaching me how to do this border. 😁❤️
oh wow...i always avoided this video cause i thought it was too hard but really it's not , now that i have watched it and now i want to make this border....nice work!
Thank you so much. I was looking for a way to finish the ends of my braided scarf that wasn’t a fringe. This stitch is a perfect match as its really just half of the braided loop pattern, just with a twist. So pleased I could follow along and it looks so professional!!! Yay! I’ve only been crocheting for 10 weeks as it was my isolation goal when coronavirus started. 😊🧶
I modified the border for my great-granddaughter's blanket. I used a SC instead of the DC base. Then I only back-stitched 3ch instead of 4ch. For me it looks better with the tight pattern of the blanket. I really love the border and will definitely be using it again! Thank you!
Thank you!! Bella Coco, your Wave Boarder is great and love to crochet it. Great timing as I have just finished my granddaughter's blanket for her soft toy called Toothless and the border is appropriate for her to Toothless!!!! 😃👏🏻👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
thankyou so much im doing a Beautiful shell blanket as sqaures and joining them all together and this was just a wonderful video on a wave border finally understand the wave!!
I fell in love with this stitch a while back. I had to really play with it to make it work because the person I watched was as clear as mud. But this video was very easy to follow. I personally like the way the 8 dc look compared to 7, it's just fluffier like that. Keep up the great work.
Thank You Thank You for showing this border go all the way around!!! Nobody else explained how to finish it. I wish I had found yours first!! New Subscriber here! You do a fantastic job on your tutorials!!
I love your videos!!! So easy to follow and helped me (very much beginner) make some really cool things! Would love to see an owl tutorial as my niece is completely an utterly obsessed!!!
Thank you so much :) I followed your instructions and it ended up nicely:) thank you very much, I learned how to crochet from your RUclips channel and Instagram page, I'm a beginner I love to learn from you. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for such a lovely border. I just tried it on a sample swatch to see how it would look and it looks wonderful so now I'm going to use this border on a beautiful primary color granny square blanket that I just finished for my first grandchild due in just a few weeks. I'd love to share a photo with you when I'm done; how would a good way to share my photo be? Thanks so much again for sharing your wonderful talent.
Thanks for the video, this is the perfect edge to put along my baby blanket! All my crochet started with me following along with your granny square tutorial! Your vids are awesome and you're a lovely instructor :)
If the corner puckers you can work it out where all 4 are in corner and add a chain 2 in between 2 and 3 double. Then work like normal. It opens the corner a tad yet keeps it flowing.
I followed this tutorial to make the border on my sweetie's mom's Christmas present and she loved it. Thanks for making it so easy to do something so beautiful!
merci pour votre vidéo claire et précise qui m ' a hyper aidée à faire ce joli point vague et la fermeture du rang ! Très belle bordure que je vais certainement réaliser pour terminer ma couverture afghane Je m ' abonne et mis un pouce bleu
Hello, Bella I just finished crocheting a baby blanket I love the stitch I did it called the crystal wave you think your stitch works well with this pattern? Should I do at least 3or4 rows of single stitch and then start your stitch? This is my first blanket I ever made. Please help me! Thank you.
Wow this is beautiful, I've now tryed it but I'm left handed. Thank you. Do you know if their is a left handed video on the edging. I would be greatfull for the information on this. Have a lovely day.
This may be my new all time favorite border of all times. The directions, as always, were very clear and easy to follow. Works for either a boy or girl--some birders seem girly to me. Will definitely be using this one a lot for the blankets I donate to Children's Hospital.
