I’ve got a half elf eloquence bard in my Descent into Avernus campaign. The unsettling words ability is extremely powerful when combined with some of their spells.
Yes!!! It’s so good to help mitigate spell resistance and make it easier to hit some of those big spells.
This is the bardiest bard to ever bard especially in rp

Never done a Eloquence Bard but I'd love to see your idea of a Jester Bard...
It’s a toss up cus of alignment. If I was evil which there’s a huge possibility. I’d go whispers, and maybe level dip into great old one warlock. That way I could be in court harassing others in there mind. If I was neutral I’d do glamour so I can be selfish and whimsical without leaving a body trail but still be really influential. If I was good I could really do anything but valor lore or spirits. But it’s definitely doable in a bunch of different ways. I have a jester necromancer that uses a pop up book for a spell book that is dingy dirty and smells like cotton candy….. buuuut he’s really only funny to me 🤣😂🤣

I actually have a concept Jester Bard who goes around mocking and bringing evil doers down, while juggling daggers and dancing, including a martial arts fan dance,.. Daria's good at infiltration, being part changeling helps! She's a Lore Bard,but if Daria Romanov reaches for her twin war fans,run lol¡
This bard in terms of Persuasion and Deception is so broken I do like how balanced the bardic inspiration upgrades are but the fact that this bard effectively has a natural 19 if you place your expertise and your charisma modifier correctly so y basically never fail Deception and Persuasion checks and I do not envy the DM who has to deal with the mess of having to make roleplaying challenging
Yes!!! lol it’s so diabolical. The trick is it takes a gutsy kind of player to make those kinds of plays like you have to be in it to win it with deceiving people and getting in and close to persuade. Most people would rather cast a spell
Good video but slightly disappointed you didn't mention multiclassing
Aberrant Mind sorcerer's 1st level ability is insane with this, you can use it an infinite number of times and you can potentially do some really nasty things with deception and performance
I try not to go over multiclassing when I do these videos mainly because depending on how you want to build a multiclass, your ambition is a collection of abilities that synergies. That dose lead to some classes gaining more levels than others, in which case you wouldn’t be able to get a footing for the other abilities, because they may not fit your build. In which case I feel I couldn’t call it a subclass guide because it is then a build. At least that’s how I see it.
For what it’s worth I get a lot of feedback for build videos, so maybe soon I’ll start doing things like that.
