Thank you for the video, looks like it may be finally time to upgrade my hop unit. What I don't understand on this model is the inlet adapter, is that for fixing the nozzle length issues that were on previous models?
I’m going to do more testing to find out exactly what the applications are for the other inlet adapters

Sweet! Have the ME Pro on my M110 build and UTR45. Building a new M4 and getting this. How do you wire the tracer to Redline N7 HPA engines. My M110 is mechanical so that’s easy as a battery with on/off switch. My UTR45 has a stock FCU and new M4 w/ Gorilla FCU.

Is the EMG Maxx Hopup (the Evike x Maxx version) the same thing as this M4A or is it just a blue version of the ME Pro? Cause people keep telling me its different from the M4A others say its the same but colored blue and has EMG stamped on it.

Brand new to the hobby and wanting to do my own builds and there seems to be a lot to learn? I’m wanting to get a G&G ARP9 (because I like compact weapon) is that a good brand Airsoft? And what’s a good Hop up and R-hop barrel? Thanks appreciate any help and new subscriber
I’m actually going to be releasing a line of super cool custom pre built aegs dropping really soon. If you don’t want to dabble with the upgrading these aegs will be pre upgraded heavily.
Believe it or not your stock hop unit is great but the bucking and barrel is not so good.
You can install this new hop unit with a maple leaf mr hop bucking and you will be happy. But again you can use your stock unit and uograde the bucking and barrel
hello i got the polarstar one for my vfc416 a5 been having feeding problems
does anyone know if u remove the bb latch on the old models will it still feed?

It would indeed work with a g&g arp9. Tho the stock hop unit is good too
The nub all depends on what type of bucking your using / set up. If your using traditional rubbers then use the hop nub that has the soft type nub if your using a mr hop or r hop use the default hop tensioner

@@TheRealDealAirsoft u think flat nub works better with mr hop than the concave nub? I run all the metal concave nubs with mr hops currently
Prommy purple is an ok bucking , kind of old tech now a days. Prommy ourple will not fit in Maxx units but should fit in the stock g&g unit
So I also used to use the metal hard concave nub but I found an issue here and there that in the past with previous models , some times the sharp edges would apply odd pressure and sometimes ide have consistent flyers to either the right or the left. Then I would lightly sand the edges to make the concave more smooth and less sharp on the edges.
With the soft nub that issue isn’t a variable anymore. Granted you might need a higher level of hop but it’s very controlled and precise.
I recently added the 6mm soft nubs to my next order so upon the next Maxx delivery for real deal we’ll have the 6mm soft nub for testing

So far. The max hop up have some feeding issue with my lancer tactical gen 2. Any idea ?should I change the inlet adaptor to 11.5mm or should I change into the Maxx nozzle 21.25mm
Get the adjustable nozzle from Maxx,the 19-22mm ,since they have those windows you can exactly see how far in and how far out it goes ,fixes your feeding issue and also gives it a perfect air seal

Will this work in a Krytac with an R hopped barrel I know the nozzle may be an issue as these accept 21-21.25mm nozzles and the Krytac stock nozzle is 21.4mm
When you use a Maxx hop unit you need to use a Maxx nozzle.
Maxx hop units require different nozzle length
Just read Maxx instructions.
With krytac 21mm nozzle always works perfect with Maxx hop unit
Hello. Will this fit nicely into aps m4? A prowin isn’t thick enough on the sides so it doesn’t fit snug at all. The wings are too thin on them. Please let me know your thoughts on the changeable wings on these. Thank you.
Yes it will work for your aps m4 grab a maple leaf bucking from my website also they work best with max hops
@@TheRealDealAirsoft yes deffo a maple leaf. I currently got a ZCI barrel 6.02 stainless with a Mr HOP maple leaf rubber 60 degree hardness bucking. I also have the omega nub but everyone doubts them? Will the Maxx hop give me the new best nub for the Hop rubber? Thanks for getting back to me fast.
anyone else have the problem where the default flat nub does not press down far enough for a flat hop setup?
im using a prommy purple thats had the nub shaved down for flat hopping. with the default flat nub maxed out, it does not press down far enough to hop a .32 gram bb. I made two shims made from hard paper from the maxx hopup unit packaging which allowed me to barely over hop the .32 on max hop.
Im sure MAXX made these knowing users would be using a flat hop setup since its so popular so why was it engineered so poorly for that application.
Hey real deal i find out about my stock wire the gear box v2 sadly the wire catch on fire my family told me something was on fire in the gear box
I just ordered this M4A unit for my polarstar jack build without realising theres a chamber specifically for polarstars.. but my build is all red, will this chamber still work??
Brother , you need to read product descriptions before buying parts. Part of Maxx Models new line of hop units, they specifically made a unit for each platform.
They made a unit specific to HPA POLARSTAR systems. i doubt the system will perform as consistently, there are differences in the specs.
If you ordered from my website, then email me with your order number and we’ll send you the correct one.
If not then contact the store you used and request to have the M4P sent to you. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t get what you want. If your spending the money might as well get the correct part. Youl be happier in the end

Go with the adjustable nozzles ,the 19-22 mm is perfect, I think the max recommended nozzle length for this hop up is 21.25 but they vary slightly due to mass manufacturing
Hello, I have having trouble with my bbs curving off to the left and I think it is due to the nub not applying pressure evenly throughout the bb. Could you please explain to me how to tighten or re align the nub to see if this fixes my issue, thanks
It can be fixed just by turning the barrel a bit to the right, or maybe reinstalling the bucking if it doesnt sit properly. Another option is to buy a 7mm nub and cut it to your right window messure, sometimes 5mm nubs are smaller than you really need, omega nubs from maple leaf are small, and the maple leaf patch sometimes doesnt work well with OEM barrels, the maple leaf combo works flawless together (rubber, nub, barrel) but if you mix them many times doesnt work properly.
I had this issue when using a retroarms hopup chamber, it comes with a nut instead of a shim to secure the barrel and preventing it from floating, if you tie this nut too much it tends to rotate the barrel so i had to turn the barrel a bit to the other side and solved the problem. Some times, with cheap barrels and chambers, the cuts on the barrel are not perfectly alined so when you instal the C clip to secure the barrel to the hop up chamber it rotates the barrel so the rubber patch is not properly siting on the barrel window causing this type of issue.
After all of this, best solution??? Flat hop a bucking, and custom homemade big nub made from a plastic tube from a pen, you only need to choose the hardness of the bucking in order to the weight of your ammo. I use 50º silicone maple leaf to lift .28 really easy
@@fubene5495 im curenntly using the krytac orange oem bucking and nub with a promy 6.03 387mm barrel in my krytac crb. actually its performing really well and consistent with the oem hop up unit. was thinking about getting the 2021 maple leaf 60 degree silicone bucking do you have any recomendation as a hop up combination?
just fitted a gate titan and my warhead brushless is on the way too :D

Any idea which model, if any, is compatible with the KWA ERG/RM4? I have an older Maxx ME in one but would like to get a second for another build.

I have a Prometheus R hopped barrel on the way but it looks like the hop up windows on Prometheus barrels are pretty small. Any idea if the nubs supplied with this hop up unit will work fine? This is going to be my first build so I don't really know a whole lot about this stuff.
Honestly it will be fine. It has a super wide range of comparability. Just use. A maple leaf bucking with it and your good we carry them in our website
is it safe to screw it out and act like a spacer for the gearbox to against the hop-up unit?
Maxx sells different inlet adapters. Screwing it out is a bad idea. Vibrations will change positioning

If you could answer my last question that would be awesome. My gun takes a 340mm inner barrel. I can only find a 6.05 “tight” bore barrel. I don’t know if this would be better than my stock barrel cuz if it’s bore. Should i get a good 6.01 or 6.02 a little big and cut it down?
You don’t need to be exactly the same barrel length in reality if you get a 363mm that’s only 23 mm more 23 mm is .9 of an inch.
One inch. Even with a tracer unit you will be good it won’t even effect the sensors.
Get a 6.01 or a 6.02.

are these compatible with krytacs and krytac midcaps? I heard that some maxx units are not initally compatible with krytac midcaps without doing modifications.
Yes they will work you will need a 21 mm Maxx nozzle tho

Did they solve the lip protrusion issue with Maple Leaf buckings? All my prior Maxx units require trimming of the bucking lips, that gets old fast haha.
I’ve installed a handful of these with maple leaf mr hop and no issues so far

So I talked to my fields tech and he said these things are trash because they always have people who have issues with them. I’m thinking it’s probably because it’s not a beginner friendly chamber and the people just installed it wrong. The issue was feeding and the tech told me to stay away is this true?
No they just don't know how to set it up properly. I have the m4a and it's awesome. They just sound lazy to me

Yes just use a Maxx nozzle. Each would work
21 / 21.25 / adjustable nozzle each bucking and set up is different but generally speaking the 21 mm nozzle almost always works with Maxx setups

I never use that bucking. Only maple leaf

Yes but with flat hop you may want to apply more pressure so the best route is grabbing the maple Leaf Omega hop nub because that set up is able to apply a ton of tension the stock flat is more soft and will require like level 9 hop

The Begadi neptune is still a better option, it comes with an adjustable feeding tube wich literally solves any feeding issues, ive tested it with 6 different magazine brands and it worked perfect with all of them, some needs to be adjusted a little bit, some not, but you will find the proper setup for any magazine brand. The begadi also comes with the posibility of adjusting the nozzle length by adding sims to the nozzle windw of the hop up unit. I wish the begadi chamber wings were like this new maxx model, looks like a really good way to maximize your accuracy by reducing tolerances.
Any one using this new hop up have fps drop. I have the old design and works perfect. I use the new one with a Mr hop up bucking and I have a 100fps loss.
What nozzle are you using
@@TheRealDealAirsoft I am using stock air nozzle. I also tried my other m4 with a 21mm air nozzle and same thing. I did figure it out. I applied white Teflon tape around bucking and that created a better seal.for some reason there was air bypassing the hop up and bucking.
