I've been doing IT my entire life. I have never ever ever heard someone say "And thats why I love Microsoft" 🤣

what is the distinction difference in what you did? The subtle difference in the steps was not clear but the result was.

Where you save in OneNote has a huge difference in how it performs. There are 3 possibilities:
      1) OneNote will not allow you to save in your location.
      2) Outlook will save but not invite you to share. This means it is saved locally and cannot sync.
      3) You save and are asked to Share immediately. This means it is syncing.
On reflection this should have been a longer video.
      Thanks for feedback.

I should not have to watch a video to sync goddamn notes between two windows devices, yet here we are.. Difference is that by default, notes are saved locally and you must put your notebook on cloud - Onedrive - in order for them to sync. Why is the default setting to save it locally is beyond my understanding

Exactly that is my question. Why is by default saving locally? It does not make any sense....unless you are located on an environment were you work offline very often

Is there a way to move a NoteBook that is saved locally to be shared and sync.-ing properly?

Hello uploader, do you cross check your videos before uploading? If you did cross check then how did this short make any sense to you?

Agree - pointless and mystifying video - no help to the hordes of us who love the idea of OneNote, but can never rely on it to reliably sync between PC and iPhone. Even the reply notes you've later posted are really no clearer!

I have a mac and I’m not familiar with the Microsoft system. For me it would help if you showed the reason why the first way failed to synchronize and the second was a success. From what I saw both times you clicked a similar “one drive” which I thought would mean both ways would sync automatically.
