everything is fine but that keyboard popup every time you long press on page to paste something is really so disturbing. however I converted it into a floating keyboard , but still it's annoying.
I purchased an iPad yesterday. I needed this video to jump right in since I am in my second week of grad school and this is the first time I am using an iPad. This video is so comprehensive that I now know everything I need to know. Thanks very much. Good work no crap
Thanks. I was wondering what the pencil with the “A” on it was for. Everything I drew with it disappeared. Thanks for answering that question for me. Now I know what that pen does.
I can’t believe OneNote is better in iPad than in Android, I always thought it was just terrible on mobile version but after seeing your video, I’m amazed how good it works, I have a Samsung tab (want to switch to an iPad) so I wanted to know if OneNote was going to be the same… definitely not, way better in iPad.
As a first time user I have a couple of questions :) 1. when I cut once through the words they get pulled together but when I cut through them again it doesn't separate them but rather writes an I after the word? The courser goes immediately at the end of the word basically and I cannot move it to the middle of the word by holding it. What could this be about? 2. Could you choose book pages when you insert pdfs or just sections, or would I have to first split the pdf to pages?
Wow love this honest review just shows me how bad one note on iPad is! Is this just one note or is note taking with Apple Pencil in general quite bad on iPad regardless of app?
Hi - thanks for the tutorial! Do you have a tutorial showing how to 'write to text' over the top of a PDF? I am hoping to be able to take notes over the top of lecture slide PDFs but can't seem to work out the process of getting the converted text to sit over the slide. The written text disappears as though it is converting to typed text, i assume it is sitting under the PDF as I can't see it anywhere within the note. Nor do I seem to be able to write to text to the blank space to the right of the PDF. Can you help here?!
As Aldo James said is a lot better in surface, there is a lot other app options that work better on iPad. I’m not completely happy with OneNote for iPad, I’m using it because of the notebook sync in OneDrive between my surface pro and iPad.
fr but i don’t wanna switch bc i have like 3 years worth of college notes on there 😢 what i hate the most is when i have centered the page perfectly to show the entire width of the text at all times and randomly while typing it will move it all the way to the left or right☹️
📝What was your favourite feature?
The change on the background. By making look like an actual notebook is exactly what I wanted. Thanks for the video.

The slice to insert or remove space

Thanks, Aldo. Superb job. I'm from the "When all else fails read the instructions" school and yours are top shelf.

The Apple Notes is also pretty good on iPad. Doesn’t have all the features of One Note but better with Apple Pencil. I use both for different reasons
I switched from my Samsung tablet to an iPad for this very reason, after I got an opportunity to try OneNote on my friend's iPad

I liked learning there is a way to convert your handwritten notes to a typeface font!

How do you enable handwriting to Text? Do I need to enable that feature, or it's ON by default?
In the settings
Thank you! Soooo helpful! ❤
@aldojames can you please tell what is the response of the apple pencil if i double tap the apple pencil in One note?

If I have a Microsoft 365 subscription, why can't I have all the options of the "Insert" section of OneNote on my iPad?
How do I change cover image of the file. I like seeing to note books cover when I’m doing school work for each class
That's actually a cool idea but you can't in OneNote :(
Any way to maintain the highlighter on a straight line without having to click on the shapes tool?
Is OneNote better on the iPad or Surface pro ?
Wayyyy better on the Surface Pro

Il problema di OneNote si Ipad è l’impossibilità di avere il formato A4 e per me che devo stampare le note è un problema😢
HI, thank you, I think if you squeeze your pencil, off the screen, you have an undo and redo option
But that’s only on a pro pencil, right? Not sure if he’s using that
hi, can anyone tell me if double tapping on apple pen toggles between eraser and back to pen?
It does. I have the Pencil Pro and the double tap toggles, but the haptic "squeeze" does not open up the tool pallete.
Thanks for the tipp
Is there any option to convert our hand written notes into aesthetically pleasing one.
Why can’t I insert pdf or anything ? Is it not available on free version?
Buggy Microsoft software as usual
😂
