Absolutely love this album, from the opening of the first track. DS pulls back a tad a focusses on his groove rather than his renowned attack. The result is beautiful, beautiful music.
I bought this album in the late 80s and I knew about David Sanborn from St Louis and Kirkwood because I'm from St Louis and Bob James on the piano. This album is a work of art.🤣
