Seeing uncanny humanoid faces is actually one of the scariest possible things for me. Especially the Doric Todd Lee sketch is hard for me to physically look at. My own theory is, that my autism that makes keeping eye contact or looking at a person who is also looking at me extremely hard at times. This was actually a hard watch. I still kind of loved it.

Ah, the Derrick Todd Lee sketch, a picture that surpasses the creepiness of the gameboy camera faces for me. The face software is sooo creepy because it perfectly simulates what remembering facial features looks like, it captures that fuzziness that our brain has and it’s like you’re peering into your own mind’s eye but in reality.
They look scary like that, because unlike a model, the clothing isn't the main focus. Models are supposed to look uninteresting or at least not too attention drawing "supposed normal" unless it is more about the person than it is about the clothing. If it is about the person, they look very artificial and almost unreal to most humans. They look scary, because facial features like a sharp nose or bunny teeth or more pronounced on these faces. It also attracts more awareness, if the faces look like that and when you see someone with a bunny teeth, you could be assuming this is the person they look for in combination with other extreme facial features noted. That is mostly in use, when the face can't be really identified in first place.
Honestly I am genuinely concerned for the guy who suspects that Mr. Cruel is his dad. If his dad actually does end up being Mr. Cruel, I'm afraid that his dad is gonna use violent force against him to prevent him from getting the info out.
I've used Faces before. Way back when I was in High School I took a Criminal Justice (Basically "How to Be a Police Officer") class. Not that I actually wanted to be a cop, but fuck it I was on a bit of a CSI Kick at the time so it seemed interesting. Using Faces to create digital composite sketches was a part of the class. Very fun program.
