The reason most people dont reveal the location is to keep it from being trashed. Especially abandoned places, its pretty common knowledge in the urban exploration community to keep the locations preserved for people to view in the future
I had a great location in my city that was easy to access and a reliable place for the homeless during the winter. A 7 story building with plenty to see. But this one group made a video about it that went viral, which led to the location getting cracked down on by the police and the city. Barbed wire fences were put up, doors were barricaded more heavily, and now there are plans for future demolition

I had to pause and take a breath at the sight of the Sears image. It looks so eerily like the Sears at the mall near where I live. The falling sign, the empty parking lot, the weathered walls, the black entrance. It kind of breaks my heart to see it like this, even if I've never been there. Maybe it's because it reminds me of the whole mall? Fortunately it's (the mall) still open, but my mom always tells me stories of how it used to be packed every time we go there. Hearing the stories feel like a forgotten memory, like I know exactly what she's talking about as I've been there. It's such a surreal feeling.

Man, I gotta see if I can go get some pictures of my local SEARS. It’s been closed for nearly 10 years I think but it’s never been touched. And it’s connected to a pretty popular and full mall, which is confusing as to how it’s still there and hasn’t been cleaned and replaced yet

The Silent Hill music makes me so happy, in my honest opinion, I feel like Silent Hill's music deserves more credit than I hear around, Akira is a fucking legend.

There's a particular photo I often see floating about liminal space threads, which is of an indoor funhouse that was in the town over from where I grew up.
    Look up 'Rainbow Funhouse Torquay'.

Ive lived near Danvers for a long time and actually been to that bowling alley, I never took photos of it but, it always felt off putting, even my parents didn’t feel comfortable that much in that room.

11:32 this completely caught me off guard, IVE BEEN THERE!!! I went there in 2022 during a school trip and I still have photos and video of it. as soon as a saw the photo of the alley itself i double checked the photos i took and its crazy seeing ive been to a liminal space before. it did feel very odd being there given the older technology they were still using. that bowling alley is also special, becase its not a traditional bowling alley. its bowling but with very small balls and the rules are a bit different. very awesome!

Holy shit, didn’t think I’d see Sunnyside Bowling in this video. It’s in my hometown and I’ve been a couple times, but have never seen the party room, probably because I’ve never been to a proper event there. It is indeed still open and last I was there, was pretty busy.

8:47 felt so familiar to me and I didn't know why until you said the location was portland maine. I've gone to that specific Toys r Us a few times as a little kid and I must have remembered the lego section enough to recognize it
