It's sad how people start thinking of an entire vast group of people badly just because of one bad apple. All Muslims I have met are incredibly nice people. Muslims deserve more respect in society, and some people seriously need to expand their knowledge.

Yes, sometimes I hear people of all ages thinking that because one person did this that their whole group must have encouraged it. From little kids to grown adults, I hear hate about certain groups. Ofc, I have my own issues with this, like when it comes to smoking, but I try not to let it get in the way of my relationships

I agree with this. But different people interpret the text differently. Just like with Christianity, some people are loving and some are hateful. What is the correct interpretation? I don’t know the answer. But I do know that we should not blame the religion for the actions of an individual.

Anyways, I wanted to say that we can't make figures too. So dakara making figures is not allowed I know you are making these to educate people but if someone steals money to help the poor is not right he did something wrong to help. Btw if you make something that can't survive on its own like an eye or a hand then it is ok. And you can't make animals too but plants are alright. If you make a human till his arms or separate the head from the body then it can't survive on its own so you can make them. There are hadith about these too. Can I get a pin to spread this information? 🙏🏼

I had a doctor send a prescription to a pharmacy for me. I requested the same prescription that I had received before (ointment for a staff infection) as I have allergies to certain antibiotics, and she sent one that had my allergen in it. She didn't even do what I asked, aka what she said she was going to do. She sent a prescription that I did not consent to being sent to the pharmacy for me, and I nearly put it on until I realize that the name on the tube was not the same and decided to look up the ingredients. Yes it's not the mistake of the medicine, but dammit if some doctors aren't idiots-
Guys this is collected in the authentic hadith btw so if you are sick you recite surah Al Fatiha and then blow on your hands and put the hands all over your body and it will cure whatever sickness you have but you have to believe that it will work or it won’t this had worked for me btw ❤❤❤

It's called practice for a reason! Nobody gets it right all the time, and the more nuanced the subject the easier it is to be wrong.
What's most important is taking the opportunity to learn, imo. That way your mistakes won't be in vain.
It seems like the most ultrareligious people will go against their own religion just to be hateful to others. And then people only see the worst in any group and equate them to the whole group.

You're right, it's unfair to hate whole religion just because of some people but when the amount is more than just "one" or "some" people of a group then it's hard to overlook the "coincidence" of all of them having a common background. It's very easy to say that someone doesn't belong to your religion/isn't following it properly when he does bad thing in name of your religion. There's also this thing about Qur'an saying that anyone who disagrees with allah and islamic ideology is a sinful person who must be punished severely so it's hard for me to digest that violence and insecurity is not just ingrained in islamic minds

I believe that anyone who calls themselves a muslim should be consdered so
And if there are people who call themselves muslims, who do bad things like violence and discrimination against women and say that they do it because of islam, I have no reasons not to believe them
Other muslims will say that these aren't true muslims, and that they understand islam wrong, but I have no reason to value anyone's believs above anyone else's
Someone will say that islam is about peace, love and respect, and someone else will say that it's about jihad against non-believers and restriction of women's lives, both will be kind of right, because Islam is a huge thing and it can't be simplified only to its good parts or bad parts
And that's why Islam should be learned through the original sources; The Quran and the prophet Muhammed (pbuh). People will never be able to represent the religion correctly.
