I am 75 years old and a stalwart TOS, watching it on tv from the very beginning. I don't usually watch anything animated BUT.....I took a chance and started watching THIS movie. It took me a while to get used to seeing animations but the more I watched the more I wanted to see - I got hooked. - Wonderful production, animation and story line. - More please!
For 5 decades, I have been a devoted follower of Star Trek. At first, I was skeptical, but the more I keep watching, the more spellbound I got. Excellent production!
How refreshing to have 6 hours of pure logic and common senses and aim at the will of life. Wonderful brainstorm of concepts on or human nature. Thank you .
At 77 years of age I have followed Star Trek since it began. Thank you for adding to a life of vicarious adventure into the unknown. I have a lifetime of adventure, fear, surprise and comfort from the friends I have made along the way as a silent crew member. This was an unusual approach but well worth the time. I will watch it again. Live long and prosper.
I'm hearing similar sentiments from many in our age group. This production really does stand on its merit, live or animated. Remember how star ships, phasers, transporters and the rest were real even though they weren't? I'm taking the same approach with animated characters. With some imagination and suspension of disbelief, they become real actors. Thank you for some fun and relaxation. Good job.
Baring the original series, this has been the best episode of Star Trek I have seen so far. I was thoroughly entertained and will watch it again. Thank you........ I wish I could have watched it with my Mom. She was a great fan
As I was watching it, I was thinking my husband would have enjoyed it as well as he was also a Star Trek fan. We sat through all the TOS, TNG, VOYAGER, DS9 and ENTERPRISE episodes. Then watch all the films together.
For those who don't realise: This is a game, edited to show the narrative parts, with some visual and audio effects added. It is not a film, nor is it written by GAZArts. It takes the game and cuts out as many of the player combat and moving around parts as possible, as well as conversation choices that could be edited out without being obvious.
Excellent points, I always put information in the video’s description which details every aspect of the game including a link to where viewers can I buy it. Over in the channel info it’s also detailed what it is we actually do with regard to the editing.
I normally avoid animated films like this as i do not find them very captivating. However, the length of the film (6 hours plus) caught my eye. Must say i really have enjoyed watching it and have recommended it to some friends. Must admit it was adictive watching.

I haven’t been very enthused with most computer graphics, but using it as a part of the Star Trek “family” I have had a change of heart within the first half hour into the story…I haven’t told my ❤husband it’s over six hours long…😊
This is a great addition to the Star Trek anthology, and worthy a watch in a single sitting. Thank you for your dedication to the tradition of great story telling.
Only recently have I begun watching this class of movie, which is based on gameplay. Your channel hands-down does the best job of production and editing to create something relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for your work!

@2:51 - This is my first time seeing this. As a former 3D programmer and animator I can't help but see the flaws in the animation. It is mainly the lighting. As someone who holds games like this to a high regard, this thing seems like it belongs on a PS3. Stiff and choppy animation, poor lighting, bad texture quality, bad dialogue (Jara ordering just "tea" from the replicator and it somehow knowing exactly what kind of tea she wanted), awkwardness between characters, bad sound design (music being absurdly loud and dialogue sounding like it was badly edited), reuse of stock Star Trek sounds at the wrong times (the replicator sounding like a transporter), etc. Story wise it's also very arbitrarily dramatic where solutions to problems they encounter end up being way more harder than they need to be. As a $40 game, it needs to be better quality.
@@XLentGamingNetwork My only response is that Jara ordering tea is like having RUclips pick videos for you to see. A computer can keep that information and it will give you the same kind of tea you may have ordered before - like ten years ago. :-) Computers, unlike people, never forget. I am sure there are millions of people out there who probably went "I wouldn't do that!" in their heads (or out loud) but the decisions are those that the people who made the film decided on. If you do not like it - make your own film. Our team at NASA took eight people weeks to make a single film. Now, to be fair, this was way back in the 1990s and early 2000s. Only after 2000 did NASA finally get us PCs, set them up, and get us fairly good graphic cards. The rest of the time we used SGI's version of X Windows. No GTK or any other windows software. Just X Windows. So a week was not a long time for us to make a video. Also remember - our videos were 99% for Congress and only 1% for someone else. @@markmanning8832 Yes because the replicator having voice identifications and pattern algorithms is totally something reasonable it should need/can do and something we've totally seen it do in Star Trek before. This is true because if you tab out of the game, the soundtrack will still be playing but the scene is paused.
Absolutely amazing production and it is completely a prolongation of the line set by the original Star Trek but the mastership behind this production surpasses the one behind the original. I'm deeply impressed by it and will never forget this impression. Outstandingly professional job the makers did! My admiration!
As game movies go, this I the best produce one I've seen to-date. Carter could have more alpha male approach, but it was good to show the beta male courage when needed. Did notice some usual skipping toward the end, however, I am over all very pleased and had no problem binge watching thw entire movie. Truly looking forward to the next one.
I am a Trekkie from WAY back - I watched TOS on TV when I was a kid. I've seen all the series and movies, and a good deal of the fan stuff. Some of it was good, some of it was awful and I couldn't get through the first 10 minutes. This, however, although lengthy, is absolutely Fabulous! Very well done indeed!!
An excellent job of editing. You kept the movie flowing without using too much of the game itself. Editing out as much of the game as you can and still keep the flow of the movie going smoothly. Some people that do these type of game movies and add too much of the game itself and make it boring. Some are just trying to show off their skill in the game and others just don't know how to edit it out. This is an excellent job of editing making it an excellent movie. Only one part that could have been edited out was where the commander was running over to rock slabs to catch up with the guardian period that could have been edited out and just made it look like they beamed over together to each new spot. But that was just a minor thing and did not hinder the show at all. Excellent job keep up the good work
4:23:51: "Bonds are not made by what runs through your veins, but the blood you spilled together." I truly adore this Star Trek video, but--what the freak?
I recognize Roddenberry's imprint on this. Also see that the name of the ship is RESOLUTE! JFK JR in the desk in the oval office. Thank you so much for a true Star Trek presentation.
This has a much better storyline than any Kurtzman Trek. I fell in love with the main character and the lower decks duo. Yes, I know it's just a game, but Jara is just gorgeous and the voice actress sounds delightful. However, I miss women walking like women in games. The allure of the feminine gait is a beautiful thing to behold. Enchanting and graceful. I got past it, though, due to the immersive story and likeable characters..Lt Bedrosian aside. How she got through the academy with her lack of respect for the chain of command is a legacy of nu-Trek that I find annoying and out of place. But this game was enjoyable enough. I'm on my second playthrough as I write this. 8/10.
If you had tried to describe all that has come of the original show ,the effects on technology and social issues, I'd have been lost by light years. From early science fiction and a show that has been made fun of in so many ways to layers of implications to society it proves that the impossible to imagine is very possible.
I am pleasantly surprised with this film. Like another commenter, I usually find animated films a problem, especially with how the eyes are portrayed. This film was very well done in the animation. The story was intriguing. Kudos to the makers of this story and film.
This was….superb! 😲😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 The characters, the story, the script, the detail, the imagination….better than anything since the Voyager series…this production has my full admiration and my praise of the creators, the cast and everyone involved 😊👍👍 My humble subscription as a tribute to you! 😉
I was totally amazed at how well the story was!!! When I saw it was animated I didn't hold much hope. I was wrong it was very well written. Surprise to find a Gem like this in this day & age?? Just look at ALL the crap that has been released lately?? It's like going to a garage sale and finding a rare item and then finding out what a great find!!!!! I TRULY HOPE THERE'S MORE STORIES LIKE THIS ONE!!!! I'M VERY HAPPY I TOOK THE TIME TO WATCH THIS!!!!
I am glad that I did not listen to myself, when I decided that this animation was something that I refuse to watch, I would have missed this masterpiece!
So... The Kobiyashi Maru was in fact, beaten? Kirk, Spock, & TOS crew just got thrown out of the airlock! I was looking for a variant of Star Trek, this showed up on my RUclips... Well done and this is ideal to listen to after a long day and drifting off to sleep...
Overall, a great movie. I have seen some other animated shows on youtube that turned out to be combined scenes from video games that I quickly lost interest in when they jumped from scene to scene without much plot connection. But as some others have mentioned in the comments, the length made me curious. It turned out that the plot was excellent, in depth, and kept me immersed. It was so good that it didn't dawn on me it was from a video game until quite a ways into the show, when I kept seeing things pop up on the screen like it was offering some kind of selection to make a decision. In the tradition of Star Trek NG, it wasn't just battle, but included a lot of adventure, and the conflicts had complex depth behind them. They also did a great job in building the characters. I loved the way they re-introduced interaction with the Tkon. That was a great episode of Star Trek NG and an excellent premise for a new story. I watched it spread out over several days. The story definitely accommodated the length. I was very satisfied with the ending. Now, my only criticisms: Too much background music that is too loud: If it weren't for the closed captions, I would have missed a lot of key dialog because the music kept drowning it out. Sometimes it drowned it out so bad that the CC couldn't even translate it and I missed it all together. I don't understand why movie/video creators always feel compelled to drown out half the movie with music. People complain about it all the time in comments but the creators keep doing it. Any background music should be much lower volume than the speech and it's use should be kept minimal. Graphical flaws: It had some graphical flaws. Mostly where the characters kept looking like they had white foam in their mouths when talking. But as I became immersed in the story I quickly started overlooking it.
was wondering about the Tkon , and about them for a very long time. in the tv serie(s) i have noticed certain areas that i felt as if the Tkon had something to do with it. their technology ( altho slightly unseen , but yet seen and handled ) did give some areas of discrepancies of whos technology it really was . after so many years of watching Star Trek from its original start, the walkthrough of the exhistance of the Tkon , and the zealousness ( of course without thought ) (( meaing as if they thought that ' only they ' to rule or ' be the only advanced race in the universe , as like being stingy ,greedy, corrupt for their own selves )) of a intelligent species from the other side of the eons of the universe . that is the best , well written, production i have seen in a while. and very awesome to have Johnathan Frakes in it as well. amazing !
This series was fire! One of the best things I have watched in a while whomever did this needs to be writing other Star Trek shows. I hope more or these come out I was in this from beginning to end. GREAT JOB!
High drama, and totally unbelievable, who designs a ship that requires an EVA to throw bypass switches? Repair a jammed phaser turret or a coolant exchange sure, but alignments and bypass circuits would be inside the ship. Also why isn't the XO carrying the equivalent of an epipen?
Love this….Awesome story and stays with the Star Trek genre, thank you , may you keep the legacy alive…wonderful work…finally something worthwhile watching instead of all the crazy stuff in the movies. The only problem I see with this is that the music sometimes overpowers the voices and it’s hard to listen to them. I love watching many Star Trek and fan based films, but this was a strong story and kept me glued and interested until the end…..BRAVO on written work well done…..oh and is this also a version of a game?……HIGH 5…👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️😮❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
I don't usually have 6+ hours too set and watch something special, this SAGA seems to" HAVE GONE WERE NO ONE HAS GONE BEFORE " farout guys great work on the plot as well some real good F/X👍
I loved watching this - as many others have said, it provides a level of detail and character that feels (having watched this) lacking in much of Star Trek movies and series. Well done @GAZArts for putting it together.
I’m crying because lovable, heroic Portal died!! He was so gentle, kind hearted, merciful, compassionate, strong, a valuable ally & a good friend!! He became dear to me. Goodbye…dearest Portal😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️!! Rest with your spirits…

I had low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the production and the compelling storyline, this is good Star Trek.
This is great, gripping story with stunning graphics. I only wish the animation were more fluid, like a camera dolly in real life.
Absolutely amazing production and it is completely a prolongation of the line set by the original Star Trek but the mastership behind this production surpasses the one behind the original. I'm deeply impressed by it and will never forget this impression. Outstandingly professional job the makers did! My admiration!
This is the most intense, edge-of-the-seat 6+ Hours of Action Adventure I've seen in decades. Well done GAZArts! 👍👍 10⭐
It's a video game, GAZArts had nothing to do with it.
@@ArmySigsthey edited footage into a movie from a game, like how cod campaigns get reformed into movies by creators
Thanks for watching! And your valuable feedback 🖖🏻
In the beginning, a surprise burst from an ion storm: holy fantastic four!
Excellent job keep up the good work
Yes star trek is back. Going to watch this again.
This is wonderful! I enjoyed it tremendously! Hope there is more!
Good eye
Diaz got the shaft! All that heroism and probably got locked up.😢
This has a much better storyline than any Kurtzman Trek. 8/10.
Totally drawn in. Wonderfully written, voice acted, animation is tops. Thank you.
Excellent. A better plot than most trek series
👍
Very good story line. It gets me on the chair, no desire to leave until the end.
I am amazed. Very insightful, captivating, and suspenseful. Thank you very much for this great movie. Please produce more.
To be honest, I have nothing with drawing-movies, but with this one, I was sitting on the tip of my chair.
Welldone.
excellent movies, amazing special effects engaging storyline had me on the edge of my seat for 6 hours
Star Trek - as it is good. Good story and well executed.
Wow it was a blast! Waay better than ANY Star Trek Movie nowadays.
Keep them coming! Very nice CGI work!
I am glad that I did not listen to myself, when I decided that this animation was something that I refuse to watch, I would have missed this masterpiece!
This was a surprisingly wonderful to watch and wonderfully made production. Hope to see more of these made.
Wow! That waz a lot of care and work to maintain the Star Trek tradition! Really enjoyed the film!
Glad you enjoyed it Vis :D
Thx for the effort taken.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I thought this well done and captivating. The storyline is well done and I recommend this to any fan of Star Trek.
Well done ! Thank you
Oh and this was surprisingly good.
Glad you liked it :)
The universe of Star Trek lives on, and on, through its enormous Fan Base. 👍👍 10⭐💖
Okay, I confess, I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Felt like a short season of Star Trek. Not bad Telltale. Not bad at all.
Now, my only criticisms:
Too much background music that is too loud:
If it weren't for the closed captions, I would have missed a lot of key dialog because the music kept drowning it out.
Graphical flaws:
It had some graphical flaws. Mostly where the characters kept looking like they had white foam in their mouths when talking. But as I became immersed in the story I quickly started overlooking it.
This was very good, l did not even mind the 6 hrs. I wanted more...
Glad you liked it! We are also hoping for more stories involving the resolute crew someday.
Soon!
@@GAZArtshey what was the name of this game? it's very good and you did an excellent job editing
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!
I enjoyed the way the producers interwoven the main characters of all of the ST series into this story.
STO has some great stories. One voice actor in this one reminds me of an 80s/90s interpretation of an 1897 story. To life immortal!
Gene Roddenberry would be proud of this masterpiece.✨😉👍
was wondering about the Tkon , and about them for a very long time.
in the tv serie(s) i have noticed certain areas that i felt as if the Tkon had something to do with it.
their technology ( altho slightly unseen , but yet seen and handled ) did give some areas of discrepancies of whos technology it really was .
after so many years of watching Star Trek from its original start, the walkthrough of the exhistance of the Tkon , and the zealousness ( of course without thought ) (( meaing as if they thought that ' only they ' to rule or ' be the only advanced race in the universe , as like being stingy ,greedy, corrupt for their own selves )) of a intelligent species from the other side of the eons of the universe .
that is the best , well written, production i have seen in a while.
and very awesome to have Johnathan Frakes in it as well.
amazing !
It really felt like an nohest tp goodness Star Trek Movie, actually it felt even better than some Star Trek Movies did.
This series was fire! One of the best things I have watched in a while whomever did this needs to be writing other Star Trek shows. I hope more or these come out I was in this from beginning to end. GREAT JOB!
Thanks for watching, really glad you enjoyed it 🖖🏻
Good show...Captain is great character....She never smiled once...Others smirked.
One of the best startrek stories ever.
Have you ever had sex with another human?
I really enjoyed this! Thank you!
You’re welcome! glad you had fun 🖖🏻
This is so much better than any Jar Jar movie
*EXCELLENT!!*
Thank you! glad you like it 😊
gotta get this game one day
A really great picture film Well Done thanks for doing this
Absolutely fantastic !!! True Star Trek.
Well done you honor a 61 year old trek fan with your presentation 👏 👍
I allways love Star Trek and everything that goes whit the Enterprice 👍🏾😉👏🏽
Guys. This is a video game. It’s still pretty good.
I've also put a link to the game in the description of the video.
What a great movie. Loved every second of it. 😊
Its an honor to the Star Trek productions. Very good hopefully there is coming more off this. a part 2 🤫
Once in a while, a Must Rewatch. Such a delite, the whole six houres thru👌💖💫 Splendid work, Thnx4Upld 🖖
... WELL DONE! LIKE THE STORY! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Enjoyed this.
Good storyline.
Good balance of action and story.
