Nice review my friend I like the way you focused on the actual camera quality as of course that is what the drone is - a camera! looks a great piece of kit
Thanks for this initial review. Air 3S is something I may get in the new year. I have the Air 2S and this seems like it will be a good addition for me based on my use. I like the "S" series
Very impressive and amazing flight. Excellent video 💯 quality. Hi Henrik 👏😀. A great review. DJI is the best. Thank you so much for sharing this video and God bless 🙏
Yeah 45min on paper, i saw at the beginning you had 97% @ 37min of flight time I mean, even if we don't get the full 45min, +35min is quite long which is great and sufficient enough. Great drone the Air 3S will be my first Air model, i already enjoy my Mini 4 Pro, but i know that i will love the Air 3S great video friend.😅😂
Did DJI send you the beacon? That's the big tech item on this upgrade, everything else is typical - refinements and better camera. That beacon is the most interesting part. I like the new "custom" Panorama - You could do this with 3rd party Flight Software, but now with the Fly App is great!
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Hopefully soon. I love new tech, innovation 💡 - this gets Lidar, the Beacon. Reminds me of Honda Prelude which introduced 4 wheel steering and other tech. Sigh, this is good, guess I'll sell Air 3 and spend a bit to upgrade 🤔
the weird flight path is the drone recording the first moments of takeoff so it can land even without gps, used mostly for "inside" enviroments like a garage!
The model I have been waiting for.... but will continue to wait until it is compatible using the RC2 controller with goggles, like the standard Air 3. 😕
I have a question that no one haven't ask what happened to the 5k camera? Everybody was saying that it was going to have like the air 2s, so is it really a air 3s what the point of making a air 3 without the 5k camera did they do that intentionally to get sales.
I am astonished that reviewers call the main camera a 50mp sensor. In reality it's a 12 MP sensor, achieving 50mp with pixel binning and as such little improvement over the native 12mp sensor. The Air 2S had a 20MP sensor, far superior to the Air 3S.
I just checked DJI's website for the DJI Air 3 "Dual Camera with 48MP", so same marketing story here .. and as many already reported for the DJI Air 3 (and I experienced this as well with my Air 3), the 48MP Photos will introduce more noise. In perfect light conditions the 48MP worked for me, otherwise I switch to the 12MP settings.
This is a deal breaker for me, I hoped that the new Air 3S's native resolution would at least match the Air 2S, sadly not the case, to me this is a backward step from a photographers perspective. Looks like i will have to either go for the Mavic 3 or wait for the Mavic 4

Hi Henrik 👏😀. A great review.

Thank you
Your Slow Mo run in front the drone crack me up 😂 😂 and Great Review as Always
ha, yes almost lost my pants

No doubt it will not anywhere 45min
You will indeed love it. I fly my Air 3 more than Mavic 3 Pro. Why? Because it is Goldilocks perfect. That's why.
@@BlairAir thanks I will 🤙🏻
@@BlairAir If the Air3 is Goldilocks perfect, than what is the Air3S?
Perfecter 😅
I'm just happy that there will be a newer model of the mavic air 3, as it will mean that the original will get a price drop
Hi
Are the batteries compatible with the air 3 ?
7:39 🤣robber running mode
Ha I was loosing my pants
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA 🤣
Worth upgrading from an Air 3? Any issues with the bitrate ?
Nice video😃
Air 3S is an amazing update from the Air 3. Love it; but I'll wait until the MAvic 4 release next year! Thanks for sharing! Like 197...
Does the Air 3S use the goggles 3?
I wonder if its the same 1" sensor as the Osmo Pocket 3
Hello, takes a wide angle panorama with the camera pointing vertically down like a mavic or not ?
I was hoping to ger infos about the new GPS remote. Any news here? Do you think it will be compatible with the air 3?
It was not included
Does the Air 3 S use the goggles 3?
I haven't tried yet

Wait. You can adjust aperture on Air 3s?
no
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Thanks. I just got mine this morning
Very good 👍🏽 testing
Altitude 500? Or 1000?
the weird flight path is the drone recording the first moments of takeoff so it can land even without gps, used mostly for "inside" enviroments like a garage!
I think the air 3 and air 3S were to close releases on eachother
Yes, but it’s still a nice upgrade
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA indeed, I would buy a air3s over the Mavic 3 any day, the LiDAR and speed are crazy

Can you do the free panorama in RAW mode? I wouldn't want a panorama created from JPEG photos.
I would have to check, but I think you can get the individual images as raw
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA It probably only autocreates the pano if using JPEG. That's okay as I can use LR to merge them.
first😊💓
No variable aperture … I’ll
Go mavic all day

how can you make pixel binning if the pixels are not there ;-)
