I think one thing that people overlook with the cook cook fruit is that the 'tastes like the thing you made it out of' obviously sounds awful, it could genuinely be great. I bet that like Charlottle Smoothie making drinks out of anything she can squeeze, thus having something like giraffe juice with is actually tasty rather then the disturbing horror show such a word combination implies- Strusen can create unique flavor combinations by turning ingredients directly into foodstuffs, and turn things that taste good but aren't good for you into food. Thus he can create the world's most experimental food, not just finding weird things to convert for their flavors (who knows what weird flavors and combinations of flavors are to be found when you can make litterally anything edible) and turning convential ingredients into foodstuffs you can't make them into. IN the real world it takes chemical engineering to get a ton of the flavors we have in various foods even if they are supposed to be like natural foods, struesen can just directly turn the ingredients into the sort of food he wants- you want a weird cake flavor like peppermint lemon, just give him lemons and pepermint and he can turn them into the cake directly, or maybe certain metalic flavors pair well with the umami of meat, but people don't know because people don't eat metal with their steak. Struesen can do it. Side note this would be the best and worst fruit for Sanji- he is a cook that has the talent to really get the most out of this fruit in terms of experimental cooking, and since he is Luffy's chef, being able to use ANYTHING as ingredients would save the straw hats so much money. But he has such a thing about wasting food that he would never use this fruit in the cool ways Struesen would (ie saving the Tea Party guests by turing the ground/mountain they were falling onto/from into a creamy cushion) It might be a good fruit for a Wapol/luffy like figure if they would be willing to try out eating anything. Someone with a Rediculous One Piece metabolism like Luffy could not only turn obstacles/the environment into food to turn it against their foes or make it easier to demolish (turn a wall into something like whipped cream and it would fall appart on its own) but also eat it for a boost.

Honestly Morley's devil fruit is kind of crazy. Both things we've seen it do are insane feats in One Piece; The first one like Liam said, escaping Impel Down, and secondly, infiltrating Mariejoa during the Reverie/Levely. He could be part of an insane combo with the right people. I'm thinking an insanely strong haki fighter + that one swamp creep or someone else capable of transporting a lot of people and objects in a small area/alternate dimension would be a downright deadly combo with Morley. Excited to see the Revolutionaries make their move, hopefully soon.

I always thought that the mirro-world was just a hollowed out room in one of the mountains in whole cake because the house that they were in when they were trying to cook chopper and carrot was split in 2 and one half was in the real world, and the other half was inside the mountain when you saw it
I think one thing that people overlook with the cook cook fruit is that the 'tastes like the thing you made it out of' obviously sounds awful, it could genuinely be great.
Theres tons of food that tastes good, but is horrible for you.. and with the cook cook fruit, you could make it all salad. You could buy cheap food stuffed with high fructose corn syrup to taste horribly good, and turn it into healthy food with ease. Also, imagine all those times you look at something you knew you absolutely shouldn't eat.. now you can and you wouldn't even die. So if you were as curious as me about how a battery might taste, or if you wanted to get in on the latest trend of drinking whatever cleaning products your favourite politician was endorsing, you could and you could do it without dying.
It would be interesting to see how the castle fruit could have been used if Bege wasn’t a mafia. He could have had a massive storage room or a whole company inside there. It could also be a scary prison. A whole police department in one person.

With the Kuku Kuku no Mi (Cook Cook Fruit), potentially it is much more of a broken luxury fruit than first thought.
It’s said that the food made with it tastes bad, but depending on if that’s because they all have the same flavor which is bad, or that the flavor is that of the original object, changes everything.
It’s good in case of survival since you’ll never starve again, but the far better luxury use is to take something that taste great, like a nice chocolate mousse, and turn it into a healthy meal, which appear to give you all the benefits of eating a healthy meal but keeping the flavor of the original object; delicious desserts.
You could go to a fast food restaurant, buy whatever you like the most, and turn it all technically healthy.
But that’s only if it actually keeps the flavor of the original object, if it’s all just bad no matter what then it’s all moot.

Here's a random thought. What if the wash - wash fruit power is personality driven? E.g. Tsuru (however you spell her name) is a good person so when she "washes a person" all the bad thought are purged from the individual. But if a bad person has the fruit, then when they "wash a person" could all the good thoughts be purged from the individual, making a terrible/cruel person, at least for a while?
Cool idea- Strusen's cooking fruit's big limitation is that he doesn't change the flavor of things even though he changes their shape/texture and nutritional content- BUT he does end up as big mom's head chef, so he has to have som cooking skills.
I bet that like Charlottle Smoothie making drinks out of anything she can squeeze, thus having something like giraffe juice with is actually tasty rather then the disturbing horror show such a word combination implies- Strusen can create unique flavor combinations by turning ingredients directly into foodstuffs, and turn things that taste good but aren't good for you into food.
Thus he can create the world's most experimental food, not just finding weird things to convert for their flavors (who knows what weird flavors and combinations of flavors are to be found when you can make litterally anything edible) and turning convential ingredients into foodstuffs you can't make them into. IN the real world it takes chemical engineering to get a ton of the flavors we have in various foods even if they are supposed to be like natural foods, struesen can just directly turn the ingredients into the sort of food he wants- you want a weird cake flavor like peppermint lemon, just give him lemons and pepermint and he can turn them into the cake directly, or maybe certain metalic flavors pair well with the umami of meat, but people don't know because people don't eat metal with their steak. Struesen can do it.
Side note this would be the best and worst fruit for Sanji- he is a cook that has the talent to really get the most out of this fruit in terms of experimental cooking, and since he is Luffy's chef, being able to use ANYTHING as ingredients would save the straw hats so much money. But he has such a thing about wasting food that he would never use this fruit in the cool ways Struesen would (ie saving the Tea Party guests by turing the ground/mountain they were falling onto/from into a creamy cushion)
It might be a good fruit for a Wapol/luffy like figure if they would be willing to try out eating anything. Someone with a Rediculous One Piece metabolism like Luffy could not only turn obstacles/the environment into food to turn it against their foes or make it easier to demolish (turn a wall into something like whipped cream and it would fall appart on its own) but also eat it for a boost.
Question! Why doesn't Tsuru just gradually wash everyone in Impel down and then add them to the navy when cleansed? Surely there are some strong pirates to add to the ranks
