I've actually had a theory ever since the impel down ark that the rumble ball causes chopper to temporarily awaken. His appearance, size, and strength is similar to the awakened guards of the prison but since its temporary and not a true awakening he doesn't get the increased stamina and healing a true awakened zoan user gets, which is why using his monster point exhausts him so much. His normal body can't produce the energy necessary to sustain that form properly.

I wonder if Eustass Kid and Enel can replicate each other's abilities after mastering their devil fruit awakenings. Magnetism and Electricity go hand and hand in irl. However, this is anime, and realism can sometimes be thrown out the window. I would love to see Enel's reaction when he discovers that there is someone other than Luffy that can negate or deflect his lightning attacks.
well in theory they could but enel would have the upper hand here. Since a conductor automatically becomes a magnet and the way Eustass kid uses the magnetism mostly to attract just everything magnetic this would be way easier to replicate for enel who can output and precisely control huge voltages of electricity. Eustass kid however would have a much harder time to use magnetism and conductors as a generator and create the high voltages of electricity enel uses and they exert the precise control over it. But to some extent yea they could. And Enel basically has shown that the also can do what that Gold devil fruit user can do.

I don't think law will ever use it. I believe it exists to justify imu being from the void century. Nothing more. Luffy isn't afraid of death and wouldn't sacrifice a friend no matter what. I could see it being used in the endgame for another damsel in distress scenario where imu has law captured and is trying to get vivi so he can do the surgery on her so he can have an immortal companion that has the same face as nefertari d lilly. He has to be obsessed with her to have a painting that huge to look at everyday for 800 years. This is the most logical theory in my opinion based on the information we have. The only thing that I can think of to contradict this theory is the fact that law is the only character that was not a part of the story oda had originally written. The supernovas were added as filler to extend the story. That's just my theory tho

Pretty sure, Robin also awakened her fruit, because in her combat with black maria she used a giant variation of her with multiple limbs, and i though oh that's cool, but it's still like her usual ability. Then she actually changed form into a demon, and it took damage meaning it was the main body, sprouted limbs, and somewhat appeared to be using armament Haki (probably not, but looked like it) all considered giving her a notable change in her ability and needing to rest after using it, same as awakening abilities used for those using them for the first times.
Definitely the tremor fruit but I wouldn't be surprised if Teach awakened his fruit not long after he got it. He's smart AF and knows a lot about devil fruit in general I'm sure he knows how to awaken one plus the whole his body is different thing and his dark fruit being extremely different than other fruits especially other logia he probably knew how to awaken it after eating it since it seems like it was practically made for him but I can see him struggling a bit more with the tremor fruit
I think it would have been good to mention that in Luffy's awaken form, he can even touch and use things that are intangible such as lightning, you made his devil fruit awakening more akin to his rubber properties, which technically are like a psuedo placebo effect because he was told his fruit is the rubber rubber fruit, not knowing it's a Mythical Zoan, based upon a mythical God. I would say Luffy true Awakening is more akin to toon force than rubber because he can do anything his imagination can conjure, it's just a bit more rubber now because he doesn't know the true name of the fruit. He is a Mythical Zoan, the rarest devil fruit. Technically, bending his body like rubber is still a Toon Force ability. His awakening is literally bending the laws of reality itself.
I think WB also reached awakening, not awaken means he can cause tremor on a limited area, but as Sengoku said, "that man CAN DESTROY THE WORLD" meaning the fruit is in it's full potential. The marine ford war would have ended with WB's single attack if Kuzan or other marines with similar ability was not there.

I think you could have included Crocodile and Sakazuki too. They showed similar movements to Doflamingo and Katakuri in Arabasta's arc and Marineford respectively

Zoro has a dream of becoming the WSS until his name reached the heavens. Sanji has a dream to find the All Blue. Nami has a dream to draw the world's map. Usopp has a dream to be a sea warrior. Chopper has a dream of studying all medicines. Ace, Sabo, BB, Roger and so many more, they all have dreams which are highlighted throughout the series. It's obvious that it is the main theme. The Dawn is just the time where all their dreams will come to end and they make it a reality, just like we sleep in the night and dream then wake up in the dawn to make our dream a reality.

Would you consider whitebeard demonstrating awakened powers too? Pops threw his arms out grabbed onto nothing and pretty much started a hurricane on marineford. And I think also infused his power into his weapon too. It’s been a while so I’m not 100% on that
him being able to grab nothing is a part of him being able to send vibrations thru it. simply put, whatever vibrations can travel through, WB can grab, opaque or not.
Unfortunately I don’t think Oda fleshed out awakenings early enough for it to make sense for WB- especially since we see Blackbeard come in and use WB’s powers in all the same ways immediately after getting them.
A lot of people don't mention it, but Luffy's ability to turn things to rubber seems to also act on people too. People he punches suddenly have rubber characteristics like being able to stretch from Luffy's punches like rubber that would otherwise just go through them.
All of this are faxs, idk why some people think kaido has an awakened fruit??? Some honorable mentions are the admirals. Some examples of this are Greenbull (Alters the enviroment around him with his devil fruit), Akoiji and Akainu (Both altered environments eg. Punk Hazard), Fujitora, Sengoku and Kizaru (We haven't really seen them alter the environment around them. But on the other hand we havent seen them fight to much so ye) Most of these mentions are just Highly possible theories. As we know all of them are pretty formidable in power

it's very likely that they were already awakend because it wouldn't make sense that two of the strongest characters in the entire show weren't as skilled with their devilfruits as doflamingo or kaku. And how much could the gura gura get if it's already the strongest paramiciea

Kaku is arguably *the best fruit user* solely off the speed and proficiency in which he mastered and then awakened his fruit. I think he’s only had it for 2 years canonically. Who else has evolved with their fruit at the same rate from the day they got it? It may look goofy because he’s a Giraffe but he guaranteed MAXED out that fruit.
Looking back on the series it was weird that even when he was in water or sea stone Luffy was still rubber but just weakened when every other paramicia would be shut off but we saw other zoans still keep their form but just get extremely weak like chopper

while I disagree with a lot of things on this list, that one point does make sense imo. Even though Luffy is not yet used to his awakened powers, and will surely become much stronger in the next arc, he was already strong enough to beat Kaido with his untrained awakening. None of the other characters, who are not yet used to their awakening powers, would be able to do such a feat. The thing is, that Luffy's Devil Fruit is just OP, and as this video ranks the powers of the avakened devils fruit users (aka the user + the devil fruit + the awakening together).

Chopper’s “Monster Form” kind of seems like an artificial awakening as it requires dependency on outside help from the rumble balls but originally left him in a state very similar to the jailer beasts, but after the time skip he was able to retain his individuality.
I don’t think Luffy is s tier because sun god nika can do anything he thinks about, or you could say he can use his imagination and do pretty much anything. Luffy doesn’t know this though and thinks it’s the gomu gomu no mi but it’s not so he can’t do anything which in turn means that luffy hasn’t reached his full potential. I honestly wouldn't count the beast guards in Impel Down as "awakened". They were more then likely just pet projects of Vegapunk that were relegated to prison guards due to their low intelligence but large amount of brute strength that would keep the regular riff raff of level 1, content to stay in their cells.
Even though I don't think Doflamingo and Katakuri at the at the same level, I think at Katakuri is actually stronger, I would actually Katakuri in the B tier because I definitely think that Lucci would defeat him in the battle, probably mid diff. If it's based upon how helpful or how strong The Awakening ability is, I would definitely think that Doflamingo's awakening is more offensively stronger (capability), it's just that Doflamingo isn't as strong to make thr attacks be that potent. Sharp attacks are always more lethal, and the fact the attacks are sharp and can be imbued with armament haki, is really something else.
Katakuri folds lucci. He’s a big zoan type. He’d get clapped quickly. Incase you are forgetting luffy never beat katakuri he is basically still undefeated. He only lost because he stab himself right through the stomach. On top of that this was whole cake island katakuri. If you take current katakuri who lost his first battle he’s definitely gotten stronger. No way i see katakuri staying the same level. Especially with pudding getting kidnapped. Katakuri is much stronger now and i even argue current katakuri can take on zoro and sanji in a 1v1

The term awakening is used when the user overwhelms the Devil within and commands it, causing a permeant change. Then when the user dies they become Devil's that possess fruit. I think WB also reached awakening, not awaken means he can cause tremor on a limited area, but as Sengoku said, "that man CAN DESTROY THE WORLD" meaning the fruit is in it's full potential. Would you consider whitebeard demonstrating awakened powers too? Pops threw his arms out grabbed onto nothing and pretty much started a hurricane on marineford. And I think also infused his power into his weapon too. It’s been a while so I’m not 100% on that
him being able to grab nothing is a part of him being able to send vibrations thru it. simply put, whatever vibrations can travel through, WB can grab, opaque or not.
Unfortunately I don’t think Oda fleshed out awakenings early enough for it to make sense for WB- especially since we see Blackbeard come in and use WB’s powers in all the same ways immediately after getting them.

A lot of people don't mention it, but Luffy's ability to turn things to rubber seems to also act on people too. People he punches suddenly have rubber characteristics like being able to stretch from Luffy's punches like rubber that would otherwise just go through them.

Even though Luffy is not yet used to his awakened powers, and will surely become much stronger in the next arc, he was already strong enough to beat Kaido with his untrained awakening. None of the other characters, who are not yet used to their awakening powers, would be able to do such a feat. The thing is, that Luffy's Devil Fruit is just OP, and as this video ranks the powers of the avakened devils fruit users (aka the user + the devil fruit + the awakening together).

Even though I don't think Doflamingo and Katakuri at the at the same level, I think at Katakuri is actually stronger, I would actually Katakuri in the B tier because I definitely think that Lucci would defeat him in the battle, probably mid diff.
If it's based upon how helpful or how strong The Awakening ability is, I would definitely think that Doflamingo's awakening is more offensively stronger (capability), it's just that Doflamingo isn't as strong to make thr attacks be that potent. Sharp attacks are always more lethal, and the fact the attacks are sharp and can be imbued with armament haki, is really something else.
Katakuri folds lucci. He’s a big zoan type. He’d get clapped quickly. Incase you are forgetting luffy never beat katakuri he is basically still undefeated. He only lost because he stab himself right through the stomach. On top of that this was whole cake island katakuri. If you take current katakuri who lost his first battle he’s definitely gotten stronger. No way i see katakuri staying the same level. Especially with pudding getting kidnapped.
