    My husband is Pakistani and he loooooves halwa! When I first tried making it, it turned out really good, but I started messing around with the method and forgot the formula, and as you said: it turned into PASTE!
    This video was so concise and informative and my halwa has finally been saved! Thank you for the great recipe and step by step explanation of the process!! 10/10!!!

    I made this this morning for the first time, omitting the milk and kesar. Your ingredient proportions are perfect. At first I was worried it would be too sweet for my liking, but actually the flavours were really well balanced. Dry roasting the sooji is a great idea and your directions make sense. You really know your stuff! The halwa comes out a nice colour, not dark like some other versions I've seen. Thanks so much!

    Great tutorial. I was able to make suji ka halwa for the first time using this video. A note to everyone do keep the flame low otherwise you will burn the halwa as I had in my first attempt.

      It depends as different Gwaras make different styles. Most make atta and sooji together. The one I like is the canadian atta they use in langer...

    I made it during ganpati.. I put quite lods of ghee n less of soji.. so I took almond n chahu n just powered then n added it my soji while cooking.. n instead of water I used full fat milk.. it was amazing.. u must try that matter..
