I have an older 330 lumen Ryobi area light that I use for power outages and camping. I got it 4 or 5 years ago and haven't used a gas lantern since then. A 4 amp hour battery lasts through 3 evenings with power to spare.
I have that very same two pack of those lights. How I decided to buy them: I had a need for good portable light and have a number of Ryobi batteries. That two pack normally sold for around $50, and a single light pack sold for around $29. When I got an internet alert that the two pack was for sale at $25, I jumped at that deal. Those lights work great, and have three brightness settings so that the light output can be adjusted to fit the situation.
These 400 lumen lights have been a godsend to is in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Fiona, lasting for days on the lowest setting providing plenty of light in any room in the house...
@@kgrdiy1928 Thank you for your reply and warm thoughts, my heartfelt condolences to those Floridians and their tragically affected by the severe Hurricane Ian. God Bless...
I have a pair of the older taller version. Same reason, hurricane/utility company caused outages here in Florida. Mine are time tested, drop tested and Bongo Brandy proof.
They need a high lumen bigger version of this like the dewault one dome light. That thing is like 5000 lumens. My brother in law used it at our campsite and it lit up the whole site. Wish ryobi could make a copy of it since I have a Ton of ryobi batteries . And no I'm not talking of the 3 panel light. I have two of the ryobi p721 hybrid 20 watt light and that would be a perfect form factor and if they can make a diffuser for it just like this little one in this video

Wow that's a great bargain! Yes definitely worth it 👌
@@kgrdiy1928 - that was about a year ago. Same deal might pop up again, you never know …
You can never have enough lights.
@@sergioomar9090 - as long as you have enough batteries to power them simultaneously all at once ;)
@@stevebabiak6997 When I say you can't have enough portable lights that goes for batteries as well.🤣 Or tools😂

I Also Have Some and I Love Them Too.
They definitely come in handy 👍
Ryobi has a lantern that also has a USB port. Can be useful to charge cell phones and other gadgets.

U need 2 get the Ryobi fan 💪🏾
Definitely on the wish list. Hope to get it soon. 👍
You can never have enough portable lights. Don't have these but have the P-727 and P-705. The P-727 has been the most useful though.
I have P705 too and I love it. Got to get the P727 though, I agree you can never have enough lights!
