This past weekend, I served 50 of your chocolate cupcakes and a small wedding cake (from the same recipe) and I swear, everyone swooned in ecstasy! 😍 Love it! As soon as I heard is a mix enough for just one pan of 12 cupcakes I tried the recipe. I want to point out that if temperature is 165° Celsius which would be 325° Fahrenheit. Love the cup cakes even without the caramel, the flavor reminds me a Tiramisu Cake. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I made this and it was delicious!! I did make a couple modifications though. For the cupcake, I used a little less sugar, only 115g because I didn’t want it to be too sweet. For the frosting I also used less because I don’t like too much frosting on my cupcakes, only about 300g sugar and 200g butter. Even after cutting the ingredients I had a whole bowl of frosting leftover. Nevertheless it was amazing!! Definitely making again :)
Made these today and they are absolutely fabulous. The only thing is I only got 10 cupcakes out of this recipe and measured everything to the gram on a scale. If I make them again I will adjust the quantities to make it worth the effort. Love your videos, Sally.
Another belter of a recipe Sally!! 😋 👍 I visited the store yesterday and im sure I saw these but with so much yumminess (is that a word? 😀) on display its hard to know what to choose. In the end i plumped for a bueno cookie and a Nutella cookie. Both were blooming marvellous!! 😋 Obviously it'll be great to have Jemma back but please don't leave our screens Sally, we'd all miss you too much! Keep doing what you do and I'll be back for some more sweet treats soon. x
I bet these taste amazing. I'm not a massive fan of coffee in cakes (even though I love drinking it!) but when I first made your Mississippi Mudslide cakes I put too much coffee in by mistake and I'm so glad I did! With the caramel in the centre and in the buttercream, the two flavours were divine together. I bet it's even better in a vanilla cake rather than in a chocolate one 😊
I recently went to the crumbs and doilies shop in SoHo, and I got a box of 6 DELICIOUS cookies! When I tell you they were delicious, THEY WERE DELICIUOUS! I got 2 Nutella, 2 chocolate chip and 1 kinder, and 1 biscoff. My favorite was the nutella, but all were so good! (they did not tell me to comment this!)

I made these today and they are amazing. I subbed the stroopwafels with halved Biscoff biscuits as I was in too much of a hurry to make them. The Biscoffs work very well though. Dialling in the strength of the coffee may take another attempt or two. I don’t have a home espresso machine but I got a decent result with an Aeropress. I was in London with my wife recently and made a point of popping in for something sweet (we had cookies but there was so many tempting options that it was hard to choose). I had to get the recipe book as well. Only gotten around to using g the raspberry goo recipe so far though. I love the channel and I’m sure I’ll be making more yummy things. It was the old lemon curd video that first introduced me to it but I’ve made a few other things since and it’s all great. Easy to follow along and very entertaining.

A good trick I learnt for adding icing sugar to the butter, is too (as long as it's a tried and trusted recipe) add the liquid for the buttercream, whether that's milk, coffee, etc and mix it in to the sugar first and then add THAT to the butter!
I make a lot of the recipes from this channel and i love coffee so was excited to try this out. Made this today, the buttercream was way too sweet but the base was nice with the caramel centre. As you mentioned the sweetness can be adjusted so will make sure to do this if i make them again. Thanks for the recipe.
These came out great! I made jemma’s salted caramel buttercream to go with this cupcake instead since I didn’t want to overwhelm kids with the espresso.
England and Japan are far away from each other, but one day I will definitely go to Crumbs & Doilies to buy all kinds of cakes and cupcakes. I've tried making some of the recipes myself, but I still want to eat them professionally made!
Transforming drinks into cupcakes is the classic crumbs style of making cakes! N im totally in love with it!
