    You all should pay closer attention to details. This Pyroraptor wasn’t hunting Owen and Kayla. It more than likely was protecting a nest, much like how geese and swans do. First clue, it shook off a thin layer of snow when it first appeared. Likely the result of sitting on a nest. Second clue, when it approached Owen and Kayla, it didn’t rush them, it approached slowly as if it was studying them as potential threats to the nest he was guarding. Third clue, it never injured Owen or Kayla, just chased them around his territory until they got in the elevator. That’s what most geese and swans I’ve seen videos of do when they are brooding a nest.
    Therefore, this Pyroraptor is not hunting, but is being a good dad by guarding his nest.
    Bash me all you want for this, but it made the most sense to me when I saw this scene in the movie theaters.

      At first I thought the pyroraptor was stupid or inexperienced to hunt. Instead of a surprise attack it makes noise and comes up from the front. However, your theory explains it better.
      The heroes provoked him to attack as they drew their weapons

      The pyroraptor is a very clever and fierce predator. It might have been protecting a nest, but it wasn't messing around doing so. They were lucky because the way it went after them on cold thin ice and into the water. Very dangerous.

      For everybody who’s reading this comment, 6 feet converts to 1.83 meters. I am from the United States but I use the metric system for reasons of international collaboration and convenience. Universal Pictures really should rely less often on the US customary system and more on the metric system, since it is based on the decimal number: 10.

How was she able to reach 5 feet under water, while still standing up on ice? How was she able to stand right on the edge of busted ice, and not fall through? @Mind Master right?! When things are too weird like that, or make zero sense, makes me feel totally disengaged with the movie. Let's use the first movie as an example: when the T-rex breaks out, and all you hear is the pouring rain, and the t-rex noises.. I felt like I was hiding in the flipped over car, soaking wet and freezing my ass off, but too afraid to shiver otherwise the T-rex would see or hear me. Things that make zero sense really ruins a movie for me., especially if it's one thing after the other after the other.

    • @benlee7565
      @benlee7565 Год назад +5

      @@chaosbetta1667everything has a trade off. The cormorants ability to swim is hindered by its wings, hence the cormorants on the Galápagos Islands have evolved smaller wings to reduce drag while also sacrificing its flight.
      Ironically, some how this thing seems to be as agile as a seal under water, while still sporting those crazy feathers that would probably create lots of drag.
      Forget about the cold water for a second, somehow it’s able to just jump out the water and pounce right away? Those wet feathers probably would really weigh it down, so it wouldn’t have been that quick after the dive.
      (Also just looking at the animals morphology it lacks anything that conveys its watery affinity)
      Not saying your can’t have a feathered dinosaur swim, but a lot of care goes into creature design, and this scene shows that they didn’t seem to put much though into it and utterly breaks the suspension of belief and immersion.

    Am I the only one who likes that they made most of the dinosaurs larger than they actually were? The movie isn't about scientific accuracy, that's not why people watch it. People want to be entertained, they want big scary dinosaurs to create tension. This scene would not be nearly as intense if they made the Pyroraptor it's actual size. Making it bigger made it scarier and made the scene better to watch. I don't think Owen and Kayla would have been too scared if they saw one 3 foot tall raptor approaching them

      @thejendukieshow7850 Год назад +3

      @skullstar I understand that but it's people choice. How they choose to see dinosaurs. What kind of dinosaurs they want to see on their TV. If people want to see accurate dinosaurs, they can go watch a different movie. If they want to see less accurate and scary dinosaurs, this is the movie for them. Jurassic World went with the first three movies of the franchise, not wanting to change the Jurassic Park dinosaurs too much. In 1993, the Jurassic Park dinosaurs were probably the most accurate on screen dinosaurs we had seen. I feel like they added the Therizinosaurus and Pyroraptor to try calm people down who were screaming down their throats that the dinosaurs were not accurate. But, it's still not good enough for some people. The Jurassic franchise are horror movies so the scenes with the dinosaurs are supposed to be intense and the dinosaurs are supposed to be terrifying, not accurate. I feel like maybe some people watch this and forget that it's a horror movie, not a nature documentary

      I mean that’s the whole point. It’s about spectacle. The point of the original park was about creating spectacular dinosaurs to look at. Even if they could bring back a 100% genetic clone of the T-Rex, if they found out it was covered in feathers they would modify the DNA as most people want to see a big toothy Dino. Corporations paid the scientists to make miracles happen and as long as those miracles would sell they could keep trying new things.

    La esencia de las películas de Jurassic Park y J World, es en conforme avanzas perdida o perdido, sabes que te encontrarás un depredador mucho mas veloz que tu. La zona está en tu contra, siempre. Aunque en ocasiones podrías encontrarte con un herbívoro. Pero debes seguir adelante, hay dinosaurios que són espléndidos cazadores. Existe una enorme diversidad de ellos, parte del encanto es ver con lo nuevo que te encontrarás.
