ARE YOU CRAZY? : CREEPY MENTAL DISORDERS Comparison

  • Are you quite normal? It seems like an easy question, but our grip on reality can be thinner and more tenuous than you think. This shouldn’t be surprising, since everything that you are (your hopes, memories, conditioned responses) is contained in one small, fragile brain. Your brain is prone to a variety of mental disorders. Here are a few of the most bizarre mental conditions out there.
Among all the mental disorders that have ever been diagnosed, some of them are bound to be pretty unique. Even a quick Internet search will reveal all kinds of bizarre and even disturbing conditions that psychologists have seen.
A malfunctioning brain tends to yield some really bizarre consequences. Sometimes, the stuff you’ve always taken for granted-such as not being a cannibal, or being able to recognize your mother’s face - suddenly evaporates, and you’re left with a disorder so strange that you get featured up in a video like this.
Imagine suffering from a mental illness that causes you to believe your significant other is an imposter set on harming you, or which convinces you that books are for eating, or worse yet, that you have somehow become the walking dead. Scary, right?
Psychological disorders can be a scary thing to talk about as not everyone understands what they mean until they have seen the disorder take over someone’s mind, or have experienced it themselves.
To all those suffering deep inside - pushing those feelings to the back of your brain, the bottom of your heart, please keep on living. Just remember that no matter how distant your future may seem, no matter how distant love may seem, it will always be there. Never lose hope!

The amount of blatant (and in some cases, damaging) misinformation in this video is the "crazy" part. I don't know where you got the numbers or information for these disorders, but a lot of what you've claimed here is easily disprovable through 5 minutes of research.

I have synesthesia, I don’t think it’s that rare though??
Most people don’t talk about it because they think what they experience is normal. I didn’t realise I had it until I was 20 (24now) and saw a video about it and was like waaaait, not ALL people see things like this??
I have time related synesthesia, I can see months, basically.

When I was younger I would get angry very easily. I would wonder how better are easier everyday lives would have been without my parents. I would feel like they keep on yelling useless things to me. But now I feel a little better. But the worst thing in my childhood is that I couldn’t take out my anger on anything. I didn’t know who to vent to. When I was alone the best I could only do was punch the sofa while crying and hitting my head. This isn’t related to the video but just writing all this down makes me feel a little better.

Ah yes, my favorite creepy spooky mental illness- Restless Leg Syndrome, lmao. Also you don't have to be institutionalized for dissociative identity disorder- people with DID can live on their own just fine! It's also 2+ identities, I believe the most common amount is like 10-ish, and polyfragmented systems can have 100+
