I have been a TAMA player all my life and a big big fan of Alex van Halen. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of these snares, could not be any happier

Great that Tama will bring out this reissue fabulous snare after 43 years! I have the luck to have an original one now for two months in an extremely good condition. It’s a killer one! ❤❤

The Rosewood was a favorite of Alex VanHalen for awhile! Beautiful snare but too expensive for me.

Alex used a Ludwig Super Sensitive on the first two VH albums. That was his best drum sound.

@@PaulMarangonihe always had great snare tone, but I think 1984 was the best. Which was the tama rosewood

I am a real TAMA fanboy. I have a Starclassic birch/walnut kit, several TAMA snares and all TAMA hardware. It´s the best drum maker and the 50th anniversary products show why. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tama and alll the best. ❤❤❤🍀🍀🍀

NEED. I have an ‘84 vintage Swingstar that would go perfect with this gorgeous snare!

It's "TAH-muh," NOT "TEH-muh," as I overheard a "TAH-muh" representative politely reminded a patron at the most recent NAMM Festival. AWESOME post, though. Tama's Superstar Series are my favorite make AND model of drums!

😂 Anytime I hear rosewood, I think of _Beverly Hills Cop,_ Dirty Rosewood 😂

First time I've heard a company rep say "Taa-mah" -- not "Tah-mah". Which is correct?

Alex Van Halen used a Tama Rosewood snare for many years.

So I’m being informed these are already sold out and most tamales distributions are done with their allocations.

Realmente pienso que es una propuesta interesante ,lo único es que a mi en lo personal no me gusta el aspecto antiguo que tienen los herrajes
