1:07 What is being said in the right channel? I think it's French "Chantez mademoiselle" which translates to "sing mademoiselle" with "sing" being in the imperative mood as in "please sing a song".
But I don't know I can't really work out the first word, but I'm certain the second is mademoiselle.
It's "enchante madmoiselle" typically used to say "delighted to meet you miss"
Everything will be all right and white album was just as good as the first two albums blue and Pinkerton. As much as I love the classic Weezer sound, as a fellow songwriter I feel bad for rivers because every time he tries to experiment with a different sound other than the classic Weezer sound critics and fans alike throw a fit.

I think that the verses are the catchiest part of this song by far. The melody reminds me of YAZ's "Only You" mixed with Elvis Costello's "Veronica"

Easily could of replaced thank god for girls but for me at least that's the only song that I'm too keen on but apart from that the white album is incredible
Unfortunately, this is a digital-only release. But who knows, maybe it'll be physical some day.

Without Rick Ocasek, Weezer works best with Jake Sinclair. The guy just knows how to get the best out of them.

This would play well before or after Summer Elaine and Drunk Dory; amazing how there are so many B-sides/unreleased that would fit into the album; could have been a double album IMHO.
This was good enough to make the album. But I think they did the best choices possible for what was to go on the album considering their ten song limit. Great song though

Wind In Our Sail is fucking amazing. Jacked Up is poppy trash, but Wind In Our Sail is a necessary track on White.
This should have been on the album instead of 'Do you wanna get high?'. Prime Weezer, unquestionably. Love that ascending guitar line in the pre-chorus.

Do You Wanna Get High is a prime track on the album, and probably the closest to Pinkerton. If any song should have been replaced, it's Jacked Up.

Really good tune! Yes leagues better then Thank God For Girls and this is a superior track. Most fans don't like Thank God For Girls simply because its middle of the road Ratitude style weezer while this cool tune is a return to the essence of what made Weez special.
