Thanks for sharing this Sir! I do have a few questions or queries. First, what year model is your TCR ADV SL? Second, is there a rim brake version of your TCR of the same model year? 3rd, if there is a rim brake version (non electronic shifting) of your TCR will that hack work as WELL? 4th, may we know if your pro vibe Evo is a negative or positive rise and by how much? Lastly, what is the size of your tires and whats the maximum it can accommodate? Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again for sharing this content.
Friend, your giant looked very pretty, tell me how are you doing now with the bike? Have there been no problems? I think it makes my giant just like you have it! And another question, send me the link where you bought the plugs to cover the gap in your frame and fork.
Ung rear brake hose po ba sir is galing down tube papunta dun sa binutas mo sa steerer and ung front brake hose galing sa butas sa baba ng fork deretso na sa taas ng steerer?
Hey Mico, quick question. I have a 2022 giant tcr adv pro 1 with an overdrive 2 stem. Would the pro vibe fit on it or do I need specific spacers / adapters and have it slammed down all the way ? Thanks P
It will quickly fit. Just need to remove the shim. And also if you are going to use spacers of the giant much better to file the top part so it will flush
Hello, may I ask where did you get the rubber plugs for those cable holes? Also did you notice any rattling from the cables? Did you end up using the same cables or dd you route new cables to compensate when turning the bar left and right? Thank you in advance.
It's impossible. Under absolutely no circumstance should you ever attempt integrated internal routing on a bike that was never designed for this configuration in the first place. No manufacturer will ever honour the warranty of any bike that undergo such a modification.
Good day sir Ask ko lang po if may nabibilhan ba na ganyang headset tulad nyang nasa vid? Bumili din kase ako ng pro vibe evo pero wala akong makitang headset na sasakto sa spacers ng evo para sana maganda tignan.
Seriously, some people are so obsessed with integrated internal routing they want to try to make it work on their bikes that weren't designed for it in the first place. I personally have seen somebody's Tarmac SL6 Disc FACT 10r getting this conversion, but the few photos I took of it is something I'll never post online in order not to feed the aesthetics-obsessed. One customer with the same model asked if it can be done, to which I gave a honest, but cold no. This is one thing I'll NEVER, EVER do to ANY bike, even if I'm being offered double or triple the labour charge.
Genius! Was going to try this but stopped here: does the cable now stops the handle bar to turn side ways , can you still go to the left and right like the old way?
I would never drill holes especially at the fork where your entire life depends on it. If you understand how carbon really work, don't ever drill it. Holes should be carbon fiber wrapped around the holes, not drill the holes. It's is best to buy fork with from factory that already has internal cable holes in it.
@@MicoMoTv : I have been working on carbon fiber for many years. I just recommend you not to drill your fork for your own safety. There would be lots of stress at that hole you drilled. It will fail & you will ended up in big crash. You need to fix your video by telling people not to drill it or just delete your video.
You're overreacting. That's all. Chance of the fork steerer snapping inside the frame when you make a small hole at the front side of the steerer is close to zero.
@@MicoMoTv DOn't push your luck. Just a friendly reminder. It's not the same as the hole was intentionally made from the factory because it is being reinforced. The one the the mechanic did to your steerer tube will fray and eventually will break. Best of luck tho.
Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. There is nothing wrong with regular internal routing especially when it's done neatly. Headset-related jobs are much faster too. And I'm saying this as someone who can handle integrated internal routing and have done so a handful of times. All cockpits I've installed on bikes with integrated internal routing were installed solo, no second pair of hands at all and I'm bent to keep it this way.
@@MicoMoTv I’m sure, but I still would not trust it as it wasn’t engineered nor stress tested that way. Carbon forks that come with holes in them for Cable routing are designed/re-enforced around the holes and fully safety tested is all I’m saying.
Today I was in my trusted workshop and my mechanic was riding a bicycle that looks like a professional cyclist from the Cofidis team, the bicycle has internal wiring as standard and the hole that it had in the steering to pass the cable is the same, so that modification no problem

Fast delivery: It arrived 5 weeks earlier than expected.4. Easy assemblyJust a few cons but nothing major:1. Cheap tin tubes and had flat on first day... but not a big deal. I replaced the tubes.2. Seat is a bit uncomfortable but that's pretty much the same situation with most bikes.3. Seat post is a bit long/high for a smaller size 48 bike - had to saw 2 inch off to fit properly. This is an absolutely awful idea. The steer tube is one of the weakest points on a bike and drilling a hole will ruin the structural integrity of the fork. Ask someone in the bike industry about how many personal injury lawsuits came from steer tube failure. Even with all the design and manufacturing flaws, drilling a hole in one is one of the stupidest ideas I've seen.
