Highly underrated channel. Great work!
Much appreciated!
muy buen video. una pregunta si el parametro de punto no me permite unir varios cables, a que se debe? es algun plugin?
debes conectar con SHift
It gave an error in the point section. How can I add multiple entries? 2.40 minute
When i connect p from Divide with A from Line and then i connect point with B from line, the lines get intersected. Why is that? minute 3:08
You can share your email ID, so we can forward you the grasshopper file with the script. Make sure you follow the script correctly.
@@architutors Hello, I am having the same issue. what is the solution to this error?
great tutorial. one question though, can you make the top circle not affected by the edge length and just be a normal circle which all of the meshes connected to it straight and not curved to the bottom. or maybe just change it into a point? I try changing the circle from your script into a point. but the edge length will not work, it keeps giving me a normal mesh without the tensile like structure on the bottom part of the object.
We'll upload a tutorial on it soon. We'll share that script with you.
I follow the steps but several faces intersect, not because it happens?
Please recheck for any errors in the definition. Or you can share your email address with us so we'll forward you the gh file that you can examine.
Hi, i am looking to do a similar tensile structure but its covered on the sides as well. what can i do to make the structure enclosed ? (For reference: Schlumberger research centre in Cambridge)
We looked it up, it seems to be having a hexagonal geometry also, covered on the sides as well. It will probably be easier to make it by setting up curves and to loft them, and setting up parameters for number of segments or use kangaroo component parameters for tensile threshold. And yes, we can also send you the script followed in this video, you can send us your email address.
@architutors is there a way to link this up in this gh script? It would be really helpful if it’s possible as it would help me save time by alot! And even if it isn’t possible to add in your script, my email is lianatahsin09@gmail.com.
Thank you
@@lianahoque5215 it would follow a different script. We will notify you if we come up with a tutorial to make similar kind of geometry.
@@architutors could that be sometime in this week? This is literally my last resort place!
