We were okay, but we just made it to the finish line in that sense. We were going to do 8, but luckily we cut it back to 6. We drink a lot over the years, so we were okay in that sense, but one more would have made a difference.🤣
It's excellent and used to be my favorite, because of the low price, but I don't see it much anymore. All the same, it would never compare with 11 Brix, nothing does, and likely would be under my top 3 or 4 here, but ahead of Cazcanes and likely Suerte, abs maybe Ountas 2023, if I was to do it again in a blind taste test
Fun review, but I'd love to hear you guys discuss what you like about each one so I can choose tequilas that I like based on what you describe about their character
That would have been a much longer review, which wouldn't have fit on Instagram, which is my main platform. They only give you 10 minutes, and I just made it. You can find a lot of that information in my Video reviews if you look at them, and on the panel ratings on the TMM
Us too, that's what's good about blind tasting. I always say 'blind is the only way to see'. I was shocked that I picked Suerte above Cazcanes and Puntas, although Puntas was the one I was struggling with, that I wasn't sure about putting in # 6 slot. Just goes to show you... so much fun
Fantastic content, Lou! Watching this as I should be working - lol. I only own 2 of these 6 [TO Puntas; Volans], but definitely looking forward to picking up a few more of these in 2024. There are so many good options out there for us these days!
What fun. Like to see blinds the only way to sample.
My palate is definitely more similar to Lou’s. Solid picks brother!
Great blind & results. My only problem is when I do blinds of multiples, my palette gets overloaded, and flavors overlap giving a terrible profile

Definitely would have been interesting to see Fortaleza in there
Sure, but these were some of the 'New' hp blancos on the market.
@@longislandloutequila7208 true good point, you should do some more blinds when there aren't as many new products to review
Blinds are a blast to do. No pre-conceived biases based on the label/NOM. All about your senses and what you like.
Absolutely, I've done them before and I always say 'blind is the only way to see'
Love blinds. So fun to see the Agaves go head to head.❤
The Puntas rank is surprising to me.
1123 FTW
How does Terralta 110 compare to these?

That was a tough lineup! Too many winners there to befuddle my taste buds in one sitting… You guys are Champs!
That was some of the most fun I had in awhile Remy. Blind ratings are so much fun.
I agree It is Fun We did ours over the Sumer and yes My Number one was that 11 Brix
Agree, 11 Brix is maybe the best in recent memory
cool!
Too back I’ll never try 11 brix. Quite expensive
Great results 👏 from the pros! Lou needs a calculator next time. There are no losers in that lineup. Both of you picked your favorites blind. 😍
Definitely gonna snag a bottle of the Suerte HP as it is reasonably priced and readily available here in CO. HNY guys!
Yeah Suerte is really good, it's just really herbal.. keep that in mind. Happy New Year to you

I've had all of them and oh wow, all tasty. The Surte surprised me for sure!

And I'm posting this while I should be working 🤣🤣😁
You wouldn't have happened to see a post on tequila 101 on fb recently 😏😉
Nothing specific that I could think of.
