I am 28 years old NYC resident just came home from separation from US Army infantry .. used to smoke weed and drink everyday, skateboard get into fights waste TIME. My father raised me and has always been loyal to the role of setting the example. A real man learns his lesson and continues to grow. All the guys out there that are lost to emotion there is light .. you are the light just remain true to the path and desire strength within. Life is hard for a reason, you are meant to go through challenges and you will all prosper. Never give up and if you do learn from it for your next challenge. Peace

That’s exactly why I prioritized being a father over a rapper. Now that my kids are all grown, my entire group is gone and Hip-Hop isn’t the same, I’m not sure if I’m dropping anything 🤷🏾‍♂️

It's in the food and water, not to mention in society and it's encouraged ... Every time I saw a kid on my son's middle school team miss a shot on the basketball team, they immediately got emotional.. it's just the things they're seeing on TV and everywhere else... Over expression of emotions just for attention or to deflect attention from embarrassment etc , but it's all by design and has been the agenda for the last 50 years, especially for the black community 😒

Awe 🥺💔...I agree, and aside from all the outside stuff that's already against them. Their internal warfare they've wage against themselves, unknowingly. They're being used and stricken with wild blind madness. Only rage will come from this type of suppression. Dead end roads they see, the fundamentals have been stripped from them even tho they're very talented. I strongly believe, they crave righteous masculine order & feminine tenderness, love, care nd affection 😊💕💞💗 maybe a healthy functioning family nd home?... Village/ safe community nd a positive growth oriented environment.🥰💗...we gotta remind em. Of how precious, gifted, & intelligent they truly are🕊🥲🤗💐. Not what this world wants them to be/come.

Well said brother. I do think that social media might be one of the main causes to this. And the impulse that a lot of these algorithms feed to younger people can be very dangerous. I will say, everybody (old, young, young man/women) all have their moments. Moments of acting childish, overly sensitive etc. I know a guy, he’s 50+ he’s got a flooring company, house, makes a lot of money, has a family, great work ethic etc. But he is one of the biggest child’s I’ve ever met in my life. His behaviour is insanely bad, it affects him negatively and greatly affects his family. Everybody has their problems. It’s all about striding towards people’s positives and tuning out the negatives best as you can.
    You’re awesome K, god bless you 🙏

Maybe it also depends on HOW the single mothers raised them , if the mother is very emptional maybe that affects the cjild as well and if the mothers spoiled the kid too much

The question you have to ask yourself is: How many emotionally intelligent people surround the average black boy or girl? Two things that are the Achilles' heel for young boys to men: lust and emotions. If you are a prisoner to both, you're susceptible to putting yourself in effed-up situations. Young boys were never taught to regulate/navigate their emotions properly.

Wow, this is so very true. I remind them nd young ladies, whenever we cross paths💝. To add onto the emotion part. Misplaced, misguided, and mistreated. They have so much passion. "Thinking" & leading with their heart, and parts. Instead of their minds, due to sensory overload.😓 It doesn't help that the older men, are still stuck in time. Or has never fully matured in the rights and passages of Manhood. Smh.

I know why these boys are sensitive and emotional because some of them didn’t have guidance by a thorough bred father figure. They get to choose what they wanna be before adulthood. They need to take accountability for the actions.

Fun(not so) fact :. It's possible that BPA exposure alters the males' hormone signals, researchers said, and some say the chemical exposure may have the same effect on people by altering developmental sexual traits in boys and girls. "BPA has been shown to suppress the early production of testosterone.Jun 27, 2011. Thank you man have a good one.

Yo I read this too!!! This is very very true. The hormonal imbalances stem from so many things in this world. This world have people out here with the belief that. Women can be men and men can be women. Alteration nd fluctuations of estrogen, pro estrogen and testosterone. That's not the natural order. It's more to it tho.

    children learn what they live.
most of us experience abuse in our lives and it's common to take up one of three responses to abuse. Victim, Protector or Abuser.. and it may not just be one but we test these interchangeably.
a huge social factor is in treating all men as potential abusers, and projecting that onto the minds of young boys..
lacking safe male role models leaves a lot of boys to figure it out on their own
worse, is the chaos of sexual abuse. statistically 1 in 6 boys is sexually abused before reaching manhood, and grown men are sexually abused as well, by both women and men.
