It's the same way when you, for example, run an online business, and the person says "put me on" then they take your suppliers, and try running your out of business by stealing customers,etc. You have to protect your connections, or make that person work for it by buying through you. I changed the topic a bit, but feels it correlates. This is my experience. You can't trust people.
