I'm definitely NOT that person everyone goes to. I'm in my isolation era right now. I have two sons and my youngest just turned 18. he has so many plans and things he wants to do in his future. when the day comes and he decides to leave... I'm going to really struggle because it'll be just me. I've been so focused on making sure he was good, that I stopped living for myself. I recently got back in touch with an old friend so we talk everyday and I also email back and forth with another old friend who's doing 10 yrs. I envy those people that are always helping others and seem to have it all figured out. what you said, does make me think more about their struggles or even silent struggles they go through in their own lives. In a way they are kinda like superheroes...except they're not invincible.
