Those songs of the late sixties were written by a great writer and delivered to a audience by a master of perfection as only Glen could do. There will never be another to equal his talents.
This song takes me back and reminds me of the heartache of war and the fear of losing those we loved. RIP Mr. Campbell and thank you for all you gave us.
Wow thank you for sharing this. I absolutely loved his show as a kid. I will hate to see him go, Alzheimer's disease is a cruel thief...His talents, showmanship, and skills will never be seen again. This collection made me smile again. Thank you so much!
We didn't have all the fancy electronic gizmos back when these shows where aired . But life seemed more carefree.Glen Campbell was a product of that era , never too be seen again .
I've searched for a clip of the intro w/ his introduction for years. I watched this w/ my dad as a kid, it was his favorite show, thanks so much for sharing.
Thank you so much for posting this man I used to watch this every week my favorite show I was like 12 years old he's the reason I started playing guitar absolutely love it
This collage of your act of love has taken me back many years........I can't thank you enough. His Goodtime Hour brought my Father and I close. My dad brought his harmonica out when we watched the show. He actually taped a whole in our linoleum.
To see John Wayne was lovely! The appearance of a hippopotamus mounted by his owner could be interpreted in different ways, especially during those times but we are more grown up now. I liked the way the man defended his hippopamus. He may not run like a horse but his is strong even bred in a different environment.
I'm sorry been when he was singing with Stevie Wonder Glen Campbell's voice was blowing Stevie Wonder's voice out of the water Glen Campbell's voice was absolutely spot-on and extraordinary compared to Stevie Wonder and I know Stevie Wonder new it
A moment in time when you could turn on the TV and watch REAL, QUALITY! entertainment. Today you turn on the flat screen TV and all you see is 99.999% of pure GARBAGE! I truly miss the good old days!
Our family never missed these shows when they originally aired!!!😊😊😊

Great to see shows that had real entertainment!!
I was a very little boy (3 to 6) during this show's run, but I remember liking it and Glen Campbell.
What a finale! So handsome.
I liked it when John Wayne walked through the set background. I was laughing my ass off and that was 50 years ago!!

Greatest guitar picker singer Entertainer with some people never knew
that toupee looks pretty good on John Wayne, the Hollywood hair stylists were amazing back then
Glen Campbell, the man with the sexiest hair on Earth!
I never realized just how much Stevie Wonder looked like Eddie Murphy when he was young.

If a instrument has strings. Glen. Could play it , he was a master. On. Playing. Anything !!!!
I’m surprised they got a Hippo to do this. Those are one ornery nasty dangerous animals
This would have be wonderful if the clips hadn't been so severely edited.
*Wait* There's Michael Nesmith on the banjo, and Glen doesn't mention his name?
The guy became wealthy singing three songs!
He had MANY hits, but very possible to become wealthy with one hit lol
@@harveygreenberg3361And that was back hen the record companies ripped off recording artists!
Silly to greet everyone when you're sitting in the audience.
Can't watch anything that has bloomberg in front of it.
