Your foundation reviews are literally the best ever, whenever I'm thinking of trying a new foundation I check your reviews first. I really appreciate you zooming in close so that we can see exactly how the foundation performs and how it sits on normal skin. You come across so genuine and honest too, not like all these fake beauty vloggers. Also, you look like a human, not airbrushed or a face full of makeup! Your cat is stunning too!

Your foundation color doesn't look off at all in my opinion. Not your usual color choice, but at least from what I saw the video, it blends in with your neck perfectly.
Cristina Aguilar at the beginning it looked a shade too light, but after she finished her make up it suited her well. Powders usually add a tint and can oxidize as well, so safer to go too light than too dark.
I actually think that the shade matches you perfectly. Maybe it is the lighting but it looks better than any other color match I’ve seen on you. Love the lip also!

I gotta say, I've seen a lot of your videos, and while you may not like this formula the best, this shade looks better than anything on you. The red lip is stunning, but I'll bet it would have worked with any lippie. We all can refresh out routines. You hit on something good here!

Well I guess it just looks that way on camera. I think it's a little bit too pale for her, but she managed to look stunning nonetheless with that blush and red lip!! :)

Sam Pogany I agree. I like Tati but her reviews are usually useless to me. You can’t see anything she’s talking about so you kind of have to take her word for it. Everyone looks flawless from far away. Cassie’s actually interested in showing a true review even when it’s not the most flattering. Many of the other big RUclipsrs are too narcissistic to give helpful reviews.

I wear glasses too and my Foundation always comes off on the bridge of my nose. Not sure if I would rate a foundation according to where my glasses rub cuz it's automatically going to come off. Anyway I think you look stunning today and I might have to try that Foundation. Thanks for always sharing

I don't wear glasses, but I don't see why a foundation should be docked points because it wears off under glasses pads. Do glasses wearers regularly remove them to the point where it really matters? No one I know with glasses takes them off and is like "Dang, my makeup rubbed off in a place no one can see." Lol
Alexandra Nadine Lewis I often wear glasses and then put on contacts later in the day! Or I wear them at school and then take them off when I don't need them.
Foundation/concealer wearing off really annoys me but so far I have not found anything that doesn't wear off😣
EL Double Wear is the best for wearing glasses! I get the least amount of rub off from my glasses with it.

Highlighter won't make it look less dry. You just have to prime and moisturize better.
i have extraaa oily skin and acne (not terrible, used to be really bad but its better now) and somebody at my school says something about my shiny face and/or my acne literally everyday, not even an exaggeration. ex: your face looks like an ice cube, why is your face so shiny, one time someone told me i had pimples IN SPANISH ?? people will also try to "diagnose" me... they be like why dont you try *insert product here*? LIKE NO ITS NOT THAT EASY MY FACE IS WHAT IT IS, LEAVE its the most annoying thing honestly
Cadence B I’m so sorry people do this to you! Having acne is bad enough and takes a huge toll on your self esteem. People don’t understand how much it can affect you when they say mean things. I always get the “have you tried proactive?” Sometimes from random people while I am walking through a store!! It’s very very frustrating, just know you’re not alone!! I think having 16 shades is good for the drugstore! If something doesn't come in very light shades, but it comes in very deep shades, people say the range is great. But then when a foundation line caters to super pale people for once, people say the range is bad. The double standards KILL ME.
Lady Grey oh lord, totally agree with you! I feel overwhelmed with this double standards, I'm pale as paper and I'm a slavic girl hence I'm cool-toned. I still need to use adjuster or something like this to make it work, however I 'm not complaining about the lack of pale shades in the range.
Ксения Ванчурина Right? I still have yet to find a drugstore foundation light enough. So far, the only brands I've found that match me are high end and I can't afford to shell out $30+ just to cover my blemishes so I have to choose between being broke or walking around with an oompa loompa orange face. And yet there are entire drugstore lines that cater exclusively to dark people, such as Black Radiance. But if a line dare have more light shades than dark ones, all hell breaks loose.
Lady Grey you know, I have found the solution, I use korean bb cremes, it's heaven for my skin because it looks flawlessly, the shade is on point for me. I know that many people who live in America complain about korean bb's but they're aimed at the certain category of people. I just don't see any problem with "this darker shade doesn't look dark enough for me", you can either find some options for darker skin tone or just buy adjuster.
Ксения Ванчурина I've always been super interested in those! They look so beautiful and natural and I love the radiant finish they give. Unfortunately though, I have pretty moderate acne and scarring, so the coverage wouldn't do enough for me :/

You seem to have far more drier skin than my oily skin, because this foundation looked super dry and cakey on you, whilst on me it looks perfect without looking dry and has no visible oil on me even 7 hours down the line unlike usual where it would be 2 hours. I was blown away with this foundation.

Hi, Cassie! I just really wanna know, what are your preferances in foundations? Because when you are trying dewy/moisturizing foundations you don`t like them cause they`re making you oily, but at the same time you don`t like matte foundations cause they are like "ultra matte". I`ve watched ALL of your foundation reviews and in my opinion this is a good one. And i think that you did a great job choosing the shade) Have a good day, gorgeous!

I love the “real-ness” of your videos. And your closeups are legit. Everyone else uses so much lighting their skin just looks flawless when we all know the reality is they don’t have perfect skin. So thank you for an actual honest review!
I know the lighting and whatnot can make us see shades differently than you see in real life but I love how this foundation looks on you!!!! I purchased the 2nd lightest shade and it's very pink looking on me so I'm gonna have to try out this shade instead since it seems to have a more yellow undertone!!!! That red lip is seriously everything on you!!!!!
Hey Cassie! All of my foundations come off under my nosepads or come off with blowing my nose... you seem to test those factors with every foundation but have you found a formula that doesn't do these things? Isn't that just a natural thing we accept when wearing foundation? If I'm mistaken, I apologize! But definitely drop some recommendations if you have found glasses- & tissue-proof foundations, please!!
Following this because I haven't seen (or remember) there being a foundation the doesn't come off on glasses.
there are definitely foundations that don't come off when I blow my nose (Revlon Color Stay like I mentioned) and while most/all foundations come off under the glasses I'm testing to see HOW they come off under the glasses.... some smear and make an absolute mess of foundation while others just kind of fade under the glasses. Does that make sense? Hope I could clear that up for you :)
I agree! Every foundation comes off when im wearing my glasses( reading glasses) and off my nose AS well when Its cold and your using a tissue. Thats very normal and i agree, Its nothing too take with in the review:)

I absolutely LOVE that you show how things look up close! Other youtubers are always like 5 feet away from the camera when they ‘zoom in’ but you show how it REALLY looks. Keep doing you cuz you’re doing great!💕

It might just be the camera and lighting (and my secret, inner goth who loves wearing too-pale foundation when I can find it), but I think that shade is GORGEOUS on you and the pinup vibes from the lipstick and blush are absolutely perfect 😍

I mix a drop of the Maybelline with some of my Double Wear and it looks amazing! I’ve never received so many compliments on my skin before. I also think the darker shades oxidize over the paler shades.

Just return it and exchange it for a better coloring. Most stores will definitely do an exchange w/a receipt.
I have been looking high and low for swatches of these colors or even something to tell what the undertones are in each color. I have no idea what color I need. I so wish makeup companies would list descriptions of the colors on their sites. Love your review, though, girl :)

Hi, You should try "Maybelline's baby soft pore reducer." Like put your moisturizer on at night only and put on a primer built for oily skin types for under your makeup. First put on the primer then put on the pore reducer then foundation. It makes night and day difference in how the foundation sits on and glides on your skin with application. I think with your skin type being oily its a huge mistake to add a moisturizer on top of that cause its altering the performance of the foundations. Given your a glasses wearer you should really bake your under eye / nose area a friend of mine also is a die hard glasses lover of all kinds and this is her solution for the movement of foundations with glasses movements on her face. :)

I love that foundation. It makes my skin look flawless and there aren’t many foundations that do that for me.
If you blow your nose, every foundation will come off, you are rubbing your skin.... so that's not feasible to lower a rating because of that.

I am natural beige in Maybelline Fit Me Foundation so that's what I had gotten for this foundation and it was too dark so I returned it for two shades lighter warm nude and by the end of the day I was about 10 Shades Darker lol it oxidizes like crazy.. but I love it
I liked the other foundation better, but I think the pale foundation, kiss of blush, very black lashes (curled for me), thin black cat eyeliner, and a very red lip. I wear it all winter in several versions. I think the pale skin and red lip is classy and elegant. 👍
The colour looks so lovely on you! I had seen some good reviews on this foundation, so went out and bought it, but was sadly disappointed. It really clings to and accentuates any dry skin. I was hoping for better.

I think people need to remember that the more shades the more expensive a foundation/ face product becomes. The more shades the more production cost. They also need to calculate how many people will probably buy their stuff. That is the reason why medim skin tones often find the correct shade. They are more commonly represented among people all over the world. Extremely pale or extremely dark skin is more rare which means less people will buy the product. The companies don't produce their stuff to do us a favor. It would be cool, i have to agree, but let's face it, that's not realistic at all. So get over it, you guys! If companies would carry every skin tone everybody would have to pay more and most of us don't want that.
Sarah D No they produce products to make money. But clearly you don't know too much about supply and demand. You have no idea what the demand is for super light or super dark foundations. If you do I would love for you to cite your sources. Actually research studies.
amfs23 That's not racism, that's business. Medium skin tones are more common all over the world and that ist why they are being produced more. It has nothing to do with beauty as any skin tone can look beautiful. My point is simply why do people complain? If maybelline doesnt have a shade for you, just buy another foundation.
PrincessNavi As a whole all over the world you will find more medium skin tones than super pale or super dark. That's how it is. Yes, nevertheless there are a lot of pale or very dark people too.
Sarah D please look at a skin color distribution map. Yes there are more “medium” skin tones around the world than super light or super dark BUT what is being touted as medium with makeup companies is actually more in the “light” range and while I may be dark, I’m not super dark, but yet I am hard pressed to find something to match my skin. Many on my family are lighter than me and even they can’t find a decent shade. Lots of companies that even half bother making darker shades either dump in a ton of red/orange or a ton of black to darken existing shades. They’d profit more from making actual skin shades for us darker folks and if they don’t think it will sell as much, they can make a smaller quantity, not a smaller selection. Supply and demand. Why don’t a lot of dark shades sell in brands? Because we aren’t grey or orange.
I currently have 10+ foundations in my possession, none of which I can wear straight from the bottle. I either have to mix them or use adjusters. I’m the rare instance I find something dark enough or too dark, the undertone is all wrong.
Maybelline Fit Me has 33(?) shades. It’s not expensive. Unfortunately not one of their shades match me, but having multiple options does NOT mean everyone pays more and I felt the need to point that out. MUR just dropped 18 concealer shades and they’re only $7. They’re expanding to 25 and going to launch foundations in the next few weeks as well. Somehow that didn’t cause a their prices to deviate from their regular price point. Don’t believe the hype.
Shayla Urevich what you said about the shades being too orange or too grey sounds interesting. I admit I didn't know about this. But does every company (or most companies) do that ? Maybelline, loreal, nyx, mac, Bobby brown, nars, lancome, the Ordinary, makeupforever, black opal, shea moisture?

I'm glad they came out with some super pale shades. Their first line of Superstay, which was a favorite of mine, the lightest shade was too dark for me. This shade range looks like I might have to hop down a few shades and I'm pretty dang pale.

I was so excited to pick this up because everyone said it’s so pale but I got it today and it’s sooo dark on me 😭
Your neck is meant to look a bit paler than your face because the sun doesn’t hit that area as much as your face hence why we tend to drag foundation down onto the neck slightly so yes this shade was too pale. I hate trying to find foundation shades it’s so hard especially online purchases

Would love to try this out! But the shade range is a little saddening. I have a medium-deep skin tone with very warm undertones, and would love to try this out if Maybelline came out with more shades! But as always, love you and your videos Cassie!!

Absolutely love this foundation but definitely use a primer it will settle into pores
I don’t think that color looked too dark for you at all! I’m excited to try this foundation, I’m as pale as they come so it’s hard to find a drugstore foundation that’s light enough
