I love your videos I have very oily skin, I work for a Clinique counter and I have to use number 4 clarifying lotion because I’m so oily and I can always count on your reviews for foundations because we have similar skin types and you are always on the money 95 percent of the time what works for your skin type works for mine and I thank you for being honest about your reviews on products because I do count on them.

Ah yay, I'm lucky we have the same skintone, because I feel like it makes your reviews extra helpful if I ever wanna try out different foundations. Your glittery gold eyeshadow look had me looking at your eyes more than the foundation though
You had more coverage with the brush side. The sponge side lessened the coverage under the eye area. But wow I was just looking to buy this and decided I wasnt sure if it was good but wowzer looks awesome
Good greif! I know it's part of your job but finding a foundation match is my least favorite thing about makeup. I find one and I stick to it. That's why I'm currently in love with Loreal True Match in N2. But when Summer comes along and I get that dreaded yearly hint of color I'm gonna hate if I have to mix or go up a shade. Last year I bought a new foundation at the wrong time of year so my face only matched my neck, chest and arms for like a week. 😥 I'm low-key tempted to wear long sleeve turtle necks year round bc my face doesn't tan like the rest of my exposed skin but I live in South TX. where we get 100+ degree heat for a big chunck of the year so that's probably not a good option.
Honestly having oily skin looks so demanding and difficult , I have extremely dry flacking skin with hormonal acne but having to touch up your make up and bloat thought the day defies me..💓(also love your channel and recommendations a lot)

I’ve been watching since you lived in Boston 💜 I have oily skin too and I have sorta controlled it by not using primer anymore just Origins energy-boosting Gel Moisturizer and I then put on a light layer of loose powder THEN foundation and then powder over that. It’s not an everyday thing but it works if I know I’ll be out for a while. I hope I can help! I always see your foundation reviews and the nose area is a problem for me too so I just want to extend some tricks I’ve learned 😊
I've stopped using primer completely now, too. Just Clinique Dramatically Different Gel and occasionally (rarely) pore filler on my nose. I feel like my foundations last much longer. But, they may not always look as smooth but longevity is more important to me.
I never use primer. I used to use a Sephora foundation that was $40 & it was amazing. I have a funny feeling that the primer changes the way it performs. I wish u didn't use a primer so I can know if that was the problem.
I have ridiculously oily skin as well as rosacea so normally foundation lasts about 10 minutes on my face before melting off no matter what I do or what I wear. But I have recently found my perfect combination. I take a squirt of MyChelle tinted sunscreen, a squirt of Acure Mattifying Moisturizer, and a little of Physician's Formula Rose All Day serum. This not only evens out my skin tone, but I am also getting sunscreen and skin care into the mix. Huge bonus, it actually keeps my skin looking less oily. I do still have to blot occasionally throughout the day, but at the end of it, my skin still looks even and all my redness diminished.
I know this has nothing to do with this video, but a while ago I saw a video where you talked about how much you liked the AcneFree Terminator 10, so I got it and it has helped my acne SOOO MUCH and it was cheap! Thank you so much! I have a little bit of cystic acne that pops up, but mostly get "blind pimples" under my skin and they're crazy annoying, but thanks to your recommendation, they're going away! So again, thank you so much! Much love!

I have never used a more perfect foundation, and I have a big scar to cover (had a melanoma removed last year). I trust you and you’ve not let me down yet. I have oily skin and have found that making a foundation last long has a lot to do with powdering not just the foundation, if you try baking on your nose and other areas of your face that are prone to oiliness you might find that your face gets less blotchy throughout the day

Not all people wear their foundations for 10 hours plus, so I think this foundation did pretty Dang good now is a smudge proof waterproof all of that I think it is all of those things but when your oils come through that makes it a different story. So that being said I think this foundation is awesome I gotta try it but it looks awesome from your review and I think that it would be perfect for people who are just going out and about for a few hours and their foundation will look good, but all you gotta do is take some if those blotting papers and your good to go. Love you girl! I'm definitely going to try this on payday.
I love how this foundation looked on you initially, you should try it with other teqniques on how it hopefully works best. I couldn't get any foundation to stay on me because I moisturize with Vitamin E Oil at times I use both coconut oil, then I use a second Moisturizer plus a Sunscreen, my skin is dry I got tested at Sephora, I thought I was oily but with the skin care I use it makes my skin be oily. I will not be changing my skin care because I don't have many visible fine lines or dry patches due to the oil I use in my skin care so i changed my method, I blott first, then apply Mattifying primer on the tzone then pat the rest of the skin with the remaining product that may still be on my hands, the best primers in my opinion ate Becca ( brown tube) and Makeupforever(charcoal tube), any other primer will not help especially silicone, moisturizing even smoothing primers. Then set the foundation with loose powder using a damp sponge(flower beauty sponge) is my favorite, I bounce the sponge until the powder is pressed onto the skin there will be no more loose powder on the face, then use a puff to set again like a light baking effect, i love the puff that comes with the Cody Airspun powder, my favorite are Cody Airspun, Rimmel Stay Matte and Laura Mercier powders, tuen a setting spray Nyx Matte is a great one, if the skin is too matte I will use a dewy one or even both mate and dewey those techniques have helped me keep my make up in place because the foundations used to slip and slide all foundations. My favorite foundations are Maybelline Matte +Poreless, Loreal Infalliable Matte Pro, Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage foundation (Navy tube), Maybelline Matte+Poreless(runny consistency makes foundations less matte due to its more liquidy formula ) and Loreal Infalliable Total Cover(thick consistency, makes foundations more matte and full coverage) these foundations are great mixers.
I stayed home sick last week for one day. They are laying new sewer pipes in my street and the beeping went on the entire day. I probably could have just gone to school and gotten more rest! My sympathies are with you!
You should try a translucent powder on top too next time for this foundation. If it is a cream foundation that’s something I would have done to test the wear.:)

You didnt add extra on your nose. I always do that. Then it doesn't wear off as soon. But, let's be honest. There is no makeup that last thru the day if you are alive and living.
glenda sabo adding extra will make it wear off faster usually. Light layers is the way to go so when or if it does wear off, it does so evenly instead of having bald patches. Some people assume caking it is a better method, but it actually works against you unless again layer lightly and set.

You know, I am 64 and I am always asked at any beauty counter what I use and how nice my skin looks. Actually, I have less wrinkles than my 30 year old daughter. I have always used my fingers. The heat from them helps the makeup blend more. And yes, I am a professional makeup artist. I have 2 degrees in theatre. I got an offer to go do makeup in Cali and for many films but, I love making and designing costumes. Sooooo.....makeup is something I have played in forever. I do mix and match. I used highlighter back in the 80s. I used powder to set under eyes way back when. I use to use the oil blots But these days I am dryer. I do think skin care and prep is the key. I no longer use expensive skin care but more of the natural stuff. I use Andalou now. I did fall in love with all the products in Korea when I lived there. They had BB cream before we had it here. I love skinfood. Hard to find here. I dont think it ended up being too yellow. It is the sunscreen in the products that turn it yellow. I dont use any with it when I can but I do stay out of the sun.

Everyone I need some assistance. I have 1 single blush that I always use with every look which is the wetnwild mellow wine shade. I feel like where the sponge was used it didn't look quite after application, and that where the sponge was used more the foundation broke apart more noticeably than the brush side. Idk, I could be wrong.

You should try out foundations with a pinker/rosier undertone, it would match you so much better !

I have normal skin withonly a few dry spots and honestly it looks fantastic all day and the coverage is amazing!

It started seperating on my skin after 2 hours, It does go on smoothly though so that's a plus.
Maybe this could work if you try to put mattifying powder primer on your oily spots and then put foundation over it

I did fall in love with all the products in Korea when I lived there. They had BB cream before we had it here. I love skinfood. Hard to find here. I dont think it ended up being too yellow. It is the sunscreen in the products that turn it yellow. I dont use any with it when I can but I do stay out of the sun.

Everyone I need some assistance. I have 1 single blush that I always use with every look which is the wetnwild mellow wine shade. I need more blushes and I’ve been thinking the palettes would work better for me, rather then a bunch of singles. Please help me with some recommendations for my skin tone. I need affordable, long lasting and pigmented. Drugstore brands would be appreciated but yet matte blushes ONLY please. Someone help me

I feel like where the sponge was used it didn't look quite after application, and that where the sponge was used more the foundation broke apart more noticeably than the brush side. Idk, I could be wrong.
