tried this makeup yesterday i have dry skin started off nice in the beginning gave me glowy skin did not powdered but noticed end of day it faded and hehe maybe il try again with a primer or even set it w powder. Thanks for your honest review🤗
That's what I do, rather I put a very thin layer of foundation in those areas, so it will match in color, then over that, I put a thin layer of moisturizer!! No, it does not look perfect there from the beginning, but it also doesn't break apart. Still looks pretty good though.
I actually just bought thi foundation and I LOVE it. It does have a very natural look to it and very lightweight on the skin. I'm sorry that this didn't work out for you
@@KaraLey98 Hey Kara, I honestly have no idea about the Sephora brand skin tint because I don't have that one. I will say this though, I think the Sephora brand has a lot of good products within its line and at affordable prices. I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help to you with an answer for your question.
Steff, I have tons of foundations!!! I’m 46, lots of sun damage, I work in healthcare and wear a N -95 for 10-12 hrs a day. Oh and I have combination/dry skin. Do you have any great recommendations for me?? Thank in advance 🙏❤️🙏
First and foremost THANK YOU for your service 🙏🏻! Where would we be right now without our dedicated healthcare workers?! As for a foundation, how do you feel about skipping it and perhaps just doing up your eyes? Like do a concealer under the eye area and maybe around the forehead, and do an eye look that really makes your eyes pop? That’s my first suggestion. Second, since you are going to be wearing a mask for most of the day and perhaps taking it on and off, I think a full coverage foundation would be best. Be sure to set it down with powder though! That’s important. Here are some foundation and powder recommendations: 1. Estée Lauder Double Wear Maximum Coverage 2. Huda Beauty Faux Filter (wait for new version to come out on 27th) 3. IT Cosmetics CC Cream (original) 4. Lancôme Tient Idole Ultra Wear 5. Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Foundation Powder 1. Nikkia Joy Cosmetics Velvet Finishing Powder 2. Jeffree Star Cosmetics Magic Setting Powder 3. Wet n Wild Photofocus Loose Powder 4. High Glass Finishing Powder (a top of any of the above mentioned to give radiance to skin) Hope this helps!!
@@SteffsBeautyStash oh my goodness, thank you so so much for the awesome recommendations. I’ve been in healthcare for ten years now and I’ve always worried about my foundation lasting all day but this past year with the pandemic and mask has presented a challenge all its own lol. I will definitely give some of these a try. I used the ELDW for such a long time , however when I hit 38 it just stopped working for me. However, you’ve given me many options to check out! Thank you so much 🙏❤️🙏
I’m so glad , I watch your review before I’ll decide to purchase sweetie , I never try a Sephora foundation , I think I’m gonna pass on this one , as always thanks for another amazing review Steff 💕🙏🥂
Man I saw this foundation on the Sephora app when it released...and went straight to the "in app reviews".... Go check it out for yourself, they were all RIDICULOUSLY good reviews- like suspiciously!!!😆 Glad I saw a non biased review from you now
Yeah I saw that too when I was getting pics for this video. A lot of people use Influenster and they are required to post reviews...I’m not sure how it all works, I tried it once a while back and it wasn’t for me. But I think that’s why reviews are high. Unless I’m in the minority and it just didn’t work for me.
Hey Steph, I heard their foundation is really good. I am still not comfortable with liquid foundation. That’s a reason why I don’t use it also. I don’t ever match up my skin properly. 38? Wow you look great girl! Oh yes I heard great things about the glow recipe! Yes the match is perfect you’re right! I never leave my hide without foundation so they usually match it on my neck. I guess when covid settles down I can go and do another match there. This was great! I love how your videos. So honest!
Well since you want to know what we think --i was thinking that all foundations seem to wear off around the mouth and chin first like this one did. Why? Probably because that's where most of our facial movement is, and of course talking and eating puts makeup to that challenge because it's hard to make a formula that will expand, contract, and then go back to its original place (placement by the one who applied the makeup) and not break apart😞🤔What do you think?
Hi, my Name is Marie, I am one of your channel viewers, liove the new look, it's easier to apply makeup with short hair, the style makes you look younger than your age. Bye now
We have extremely similar skin types/concerns. I’m curious if I’m the only one who finds that matte foundations make my pores look worse. 😔 I’m really struggling to find a foundation that doesn’t make my skin look worse.
I think that happens because matte foundations can be a bit heavier and non moisturizing. Have you tried the Too Faced Born This Way Matte or the new Catrice True Skin that I recently reviewed? I also enjoy the Too Faces Peach Perfect foundation but sadly it’s being discontinued. What about the L’oreal Pro Matte or Fresh Wear 24 hr?
I have the same situation with this foundation, it looks nice only for 3-4 hours after you put it but then...😬 turns into a mess. I have normal/oily skin type
A good it!cosmetics love is the foundation brush will give You full perfection coverage with almost any light to full coverage foundation. It is Amazeballs.Beauty Blenders will Always no matter what ,give You at the very least ,a bit of a lighter coverage because the water in the sponge dilutes the foundation, even if You think you've squeezed it out as much as possible.
Hey Steff, I need to learn the trick with online shade matching b/c I always order the wrong one. LOL. The shade match is nice and I like the coverage. Too bad it doesn't look smooth and your not too impressed. I think I will pass based on your review b/c I'm oily too. FW and have a great day.
Thanks Jackie! Yeah I’ve done pretty good so far shade matching myself. I was happy to see I was spot on when I went to Sephora. Appreciate you watching!
Yeah I had some issues lol! 😂 But everyone is different so don’t not try it because of me if it’s really something you are interested in. It may end up being much better on you than it was on me.
Hi Steff I have never tried a Sephora brand foundation even though I was tempted. Unfort our stores are still closed but that is great about you matched yourself so better as they did in the store. Is disappointing the foundation did not last on you I can see it is looking bad. And $20 is a middle range price. So I will stay away from it. Thank you ❤
Oh that’s to bad the foundation didn’t work because it went on so pretty. I bought the travel size of the lash serum you used ( grande cosmetics) tonight will be night 2 so far it’s ok 👌
Awesome! Yes, use it every night without fail. Some take longer than others but it will work. I use GrandeBrow for the eyebrows and RevitaLash for the lashes. I have used GrandeLash however and it worked fine.

Oh no! This was not good for me at all. I did end up returning it and I’m glad I did.
The foundation just blended in so well into your skin!! Spot on shade match!!
Yes very good shade match I will say that! It went on well but just couldn’t finish out the day 😕
It looks beautiful... for the areas that the product lifts and breaks up... try not to use your base products in the crease areas ❤️

Tiffany did you think this foundation was as good as the Sephora skin tint that comes in 1 oz container and is $18?

I like it and I have a combination skin but I also wore a good primer before and setting spray.
Good plan! 👍🏻
You say you have dark spots. The Biossance Dark Spot Serum is so good. I just started using it and it's already working.
I’m gonna check it out!
