- Jointly developed by Czechoslovakia and Poland in the late 1950s and early 1960s, the OT-64 SKOT was an amphibious 8x8 armoured personnel carrier that came into service in 1963-64. It replaced the OT-810 half-track and was roughly equivalent to the Soviet BTR-60. Czechoslovakia provided the engine, transmission and axles for the OT-64, while Poland built the hull, turret and on-board weapons, and assembled the final vehicles. In total, 4,500 OT-64s were produced, with 2,500 going to the Polish Army and 2,000 to the Czechoslovak Army, although some were later sold on to other countries. Several variants were manufactured, and this is a radio vehicle, but now without its radios. This OT-64 was at the Tanks, Trucks and Firepower Show in 2024.
