Brown is like...coffeehouse background sound, but distant? Very nice. White noise is terrible?? Pink is like waves rolling onto the beach, also nice. I think brown noise is my favorite of the three.
I wonder if having ADHD and Autism both affects how you perceive the sounds. I have both, and the white I had to mute almost immediately to avoid a panic attack. The pink is what helps me relax and think.
Totally agree!! I can't stand white noise, and I do not understand why people find it soothing or whatever. I always have to find the source and turn of these noises straight away, or leave the premises 🤦♀️
I agree. The brown reminded me more of the ocean and the pink the sound of rain on the metal roof of my barn. Definitely way more relaxing than white- yuck lol
Exactly 👍 I just discovered Brown Noise last week & I was instantly transported to floating, floating, floating on my back in a pool. This must be why I often say to myself, "I wish I could just go float." Talk about great therapy 😌
Is it the engines? I don't recall any background generated noise apart from that, but then maybe that's the point of it. If sound has a feeling, it is warm and contained. Imagine being negatively sensitive to it and they played it on a plane. Maybe that's one reason some people get jittery.
I can totally see myself listening to brown noise while working or studying and pink noise to relax. I hated white noise, it felt like needles in my ears.
I was not diagnosed with ADHD until I was 63. When I was a child I LOVED the sound of rushing water, like flowing river water and wind blowing in the trees. Brown noise is so similar to this and it very much gives me peace and lowers my constant anxiety.
Wow, the pink noise was eye opening for me. I have insomnia due to my symptoms and never knew I could feel the way the pink sound made me feel. Brown: calming, centering, grounding White: torture Pink: so, so soothing. thoughts took a break comfortably Thanks for sharing 🎉
The White noise was more of a pain than soothing! The Brown Noise was the best and the pink noise comes second... No wonder I sleep like a baby in a plane! The Brown noise resembles sound in a Jet, the white resembles of rain falling on a tin roof, and the pink resembles sound of sea shore! If I reduce the volume of white noise, than it will be much better for me. I run a fan constantly for having this noise around me...even when its freezing cold.
Brown noise is like the ocean to me, comforting. White noise I have never done well with. Pink noise is like rain or wind in the trees, also quite relaxing.
None of them! 😮 They all give me anxiety! 😢 What I've found for me is listening to various frequencies, especially lower ones with a little soft music behind it. Hope everyone finds something that works well for them. ❤
I don't know what it is about the brown noise, but it put me on edge and made me anxious. Almost like when the boss music starts in a video game but you can't see the enemy yet. I loved the pink noise though! It felt so soothing and comforting.
thank you so much for this! really like brown noise. white noise sounds too harsh for me. thank you for introducing me to pink noise. looking forward to trying it out.
Pink is definitely my favorite. I think part of the reason why is because it reminds me of the ocean. Also, now I have a scientific reason why I love the sound of rain. I’ve always liked how it makes me feel, but now I know WHY. It’s actually raining right now, so my brain (slowly lol) make the connection. THANK YOU!! You’re really helping me understand myself. 😊
Brown was the best ... it's like the brown noise should be around all the time....the white noise freaked me out ...and the pink noise was interesting..... maybe for doing tasks, studying, etc ...💜
I LOVE brown noise (GoSpace here on YT has some of my current favorites). And orange noise is decent - so is green noise. While I like elements often called white noise, like fan sound and urban traffic, "white noise" specifically makes me tense right up, and IS very "loud, yes. Not fond of pink noise or red noise either. It's both survival and fun to layer different background sounds, like ambiance videos with AM/PM traffic/urban noise plus fans or brown noise (can sound like a waterfall, or like a spaceship), plus waves crashing or EDM/Industrial tracks. Mix and match! Doing this really helps me keeps focus, and I've found switching things to different setups after a bit keeps my brain from getting tired of something. If it's tired of it, there won't be focus.
I dont know how anyone can enjoy the white noise 💀 brown is very comforting, I discovered it through your channel last night and I slept like a baby (been struggling with sleep for weeks so it was very welcoming)
All of those want to make me poke my ears through to make it stop. I find music most relaxing and focusing bc it has a constant rhythm you can latch on instead of background thoughts. And it sets the mood too.
I recently got diagnosed with/ADHD so I'm deep diving and in my 1st baby steps understanding what it is & how it's applicable to me. I started crying when I heard the white & pink noise b/c it instotanesly stopped the chatter/racing thoughts in my head. My brain actually got to rest!! I played this over & over and it gave me peace in this way for the 1st time in 48 yrs! It comforted me, I could absolutely go to sleep to either one of those. I think the brown noise would be perfect in the background while working Thank you so much for sharing with me!! I'm off to go find the app in your bio!!....❤🙏🏻🤗
WHAT A REVELATION!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯 …. I never knew I could feel so safe… I just fell so deep into brown noise and for the first time in my life it felt like peace. 😢 Thank you.
The first & second sounds really REALLY piss me off. I like rain ASMR with variable layers of sound & tempo. Im unable to read, study or concentrate though, it puts my brain on stand by mode.
Brown noise for the win. I use the version you have on RUclips almost every day as I’m working, mixed under ambient or chill hop music. Highly recommended.
Brown noise sounds, to me, wind across a grassy plain, shaking the grass. Takes me back to the days where I’d wander to the fields and look to see where I want to walk next. Pink noise, however, that sounds like the gentle hush of falling snow on a gentle night. I know I sound over dramatic but it’s a real thing. Like rain, snow has a sound outside of walking on it. It’s soft, you’d mistake it for wind, its peaceful and muffles everything else in nature. It’s pink noise.
I have used brown noise to help me stay focused at work. I can instantly switch from playing a game to getting some serious work done and I don't get bored or worn out! It's great!
I just found out about," Pink noise" today. I was trying to take a nap and everything I found was too high of a sound to be relaxing. Pink noise showed up and it was perfect. Thank you for the informative videos. Great job 😊😊😊
The first one sounds like wind, the second one is rain, and the third sounds like sea waves. All these sounds i listen to either help me concentrate or help me sleep.
I listen to "Light rain and thunder". Stops all stray thoughts. Soft rain. Every once in a while you get distant thunder, which makes me happy somehow.
I have had tinnitus since my early twenties. The ringing seems to be connected to blocked eustachian tubes and/or TMJ disorder. No one has tried to find out what type of "noise" this might be or how it might affect me. I am now seventy one. ADHD explains so many behaviors from my childhood and beyond.
I definitely like brown and pink noise more. That white noise just hurts my ears. I used brown noise to help me focus on cleaning my room last night. It really helped with focusing
I've been using brown noise for a little bit now and it's a huge help. Interested in trying out the pink and white. Thank you for another great and helpful video!
White noise reminds me of shower noise, and pink noise is softer like a strong rainfall outside a commercial building with thick, double pane windows. The brown noise was the most soothing and comforting, it still sounds like rain, but at the level I would hear when watching a movie scene of someone looking at rain through their window.
I subconsciously knew the comfort of brown noise at an early age. My parents put a small air purifier in my room when I was ten. I carried that thing with me all the way through college and even adulthood due to how comforting that sound was. I even had a name for it and called it my Pretty Noise. Seeing all this info coming out now about soothing noises makes me smile.
To me white noise feels like 'too much' (like playing a song through a small speaker in full volume), pink is 'not enough' (like a poorly recorded song), and brown is just RIGHT. Also explains why I fall asleep so easily on planes, even when the seat is uncomfortable
I have been using hair dryer and rain sounds for years to calm my adhd and anxiety. Very good video. White noise only bothers me bad when its behind the rain in some videos. Also there are megahertz that are helpful.
Brown is calming..feels like I’m on an airplane and everyone is asleep. Cushiony. White was too intense for me..made me a bit anxious. Like really loud rain. A little goes a long way. Pink felt like a rushing river..loud but nice and kept me focused and drowned out “outside” chatter. I have tinnitus and the sound was like that but even heavier.
Brown noise reminds me of a car ride. White noise sounds like intense rain fall. Pink noise sounds like a softer part of rain fall. I like the brown and pink noises the best. They are the most comforting and relaxing. White noise was super intense and uncomfortable
I love brown noise and pink noise - once I realized there were more options that just white noise there was no turning back -i also listening to storm sounds on my Echo and it is quite similar to brown noise I find - the noise helps me feel so calm and quiets my inner self talk
Brown noise reminds me of the ocean sounds or some of the breaks in some of the lofi music that I listen to when I feel anxious or want to deep focus on work. Pink noise sounds like the rain sounds that I play in the nighttime in order to get any sleep. I didn't even know that this was a "thing".
Holy crap. Soothing to sleep, Anxiety and just no no no, Anger and aggression. I suspect the third one evoked that response because I was still coming down off of the anxiety so I struggled with the concept of being receptive to the deeper rumbling noise. Okay when listening back at the third one it reminds me of the droning of an airplane engine which from person experience can either help me to focus on a task or have me fall asleep but not a restive deep sleep.
The brown noise for some reason always gives me the vibe of traveling through the galaxy on a spaceship. The white noise makes me physically react and I hate it personally. The pink noise reminds me of either traveling in a plane or a car which is nice
Best feeling I’ve felt my whole life!!!! I used to try listening to music as a teenager to concentrate on my homework. It worked okay and drowned out me criticizing myself about any and everything!! But these sounds make me feel like just maybe 🤔 I CAN DO ANYTHING 😆 BEST FEELING EVER!!! thank you 🙏
The pink one sounds a lot like my fan. Even when it's cold, I have it on. It's on for noise, it just happens to keep me cool when it's hot too. Brown noise is my favorite. ❤
Love the pink noise, so relaxing. I find brown noise comforting and soothing. I hate white noise sounds. Hurts my ears and I already have tinnitus as well as a constant high pitched sound in my head anyway
I've been listening to fan and air conditioner sounds for years, even before I even suspected of having adhd. And the sound of my mom vacuuming always made me so sleepy lol
Brown is like...coffeehouse background sound, but distant? Very nice.
White noise is terrible??
Pink is like waves rolling onto the beach, also nice. I think brown noise is my favorite of the three.
❤ I agree with you.
Same. I love the low pitch of the brown noise.
I wonder if having ADHD and Autism both affects how you perceive the sounds. I have both, and the white I had to mute almost immediately to avoid a panic attack. The pink is what helps me relax and think.
I feel the same way.
I can't tolerate the white noise AT ALL!!!
I LOVE brown noise, it will actually stop my crazy thought carousel, haha...
Yes, the white noise stresses me out a lot. I hate that one.
A lot of us have very good hearing. I can literally hear the electricity in the walls. I loved the pink noise.
I have both as well. Brown and white noise gives me migraines 😔
When the pink noise started it felt like my brain down shifted.
I had the same feeling with the brown noise.
Ong same
i felt a fuzzy static over come my body
Yo fr that’s a good way to describe it.
If the white noise wasn't so loud it would sound like bacon sizzling on a pan and the brown is my favorite because it's the softest.
I lowered the volume and you're right haha, it does kinda sound like bacon sizzling
Brown= soothing, helps me concentrate ✌ 🤔
white =torture 😱
pink =r elaxing, meditative, heavy rain ☔ 😊
I also had a problem with the white noise, it really bothered me
@@Pixiemel2 Agree with both! Brown good, white awful and pink sounded like heavy rain
Yes perfect explanation!
Totally agree!! I can't stand white noise, and I do not understand why people find it soothing or whatever. I always have to find the source and turn of these noises straight away, or leave the premises 🤦♀️
SAME 🥲
I have tinnitus and hyperacusis. The transition from white to pink noise really triggers my tinnitus - and I was listening at a low volume on my phone
The white effectively canceled my tinnitus 😮
i really enjoy the warmth of brown noise, it reminds me of being underwater and is just so comforting
I agree. The brown reminded me more of the ocean and the pink the sound of rain on the metal roof of my barn. Definitely way more relaxing than white- yuck lol
Womb♡
@letitialockhart1981 sho yeah the white got me proper anxious 3000
Exactly 👍 I just discovered Brown Noise last week & I was instantly transported to floating, floating, floating on my back in a pool. This must be why I often say to myself, "I wish I could just go float." Talk about great therapy 😌
That's what I thought for pink @kivakai
Brown noise was my favourite.
Brown noise feels like it naturally fills me with calm.
Brown immediately relaxes me, white made me tense up and anxious
Brown noise is the reason why I enjoy flying & get excited to be at the airport! 😊
ADHD king here, but 5 seconds after takeoff I have to try to keep myself awake. You are correct.
I also get really sleepy! I just thought it was the plane air. I always turn mine off bc I start yawning like crazy!! lol@@DJChrisSee
They actually do this on purpose to keep everyone quiet and as relaxed as possible. I saw it in a documentary about plane psychology
Now I get why I can sleep on planes even those uncomfortable low fare ones
Is it the engines? I don't recall any background generated noise apart from that, but then maybe that's the point of it. If sound has a feeling, it is warm and contained.
Imagine being negatively sensitive to it and they played it on a plane. Maybe that's one reason some people get jittery.
The brown noise! Made me calm down almost immediately. Even my breathing became more rhythmic and deep. I need that one on a loop!
I can totally see myself listening to brown noise while working or studying and pink noise to relax. I hated white noise, it felt like needles in my ears.
Brown and pink. I will definitely try the pink noise to fall asleep. Thank you for sharing.
Never worked for me, white it is
Guys don't fall asleep with the headphones on listening to any noise cause it can lead to hearing loss with prolonged exposure
You're just a good dude sincerely trying to help all of us aren't you. I see you.
lol
Brown is deep and soothing. White and pink cause me too much anxiety.
Same!
Same with me!
Yes the loads of anxiety with the white noise
Same
I was not diagnosed with ADHD until I was 63. When I was a child I LOVED the sound of rushing water, like flowing river water and wind blowing in the trees. Brown noise is so similar to this and it very much gives me peace and lowers my constant anxiety.

Same! They gave so much anxiety 😢
I prefer the brown noise. 5he white is upsetting and stressful. I think the pink might be okay if I keep the volume down.
Please try the longer video of brown noise in his channel much better than the version here.
I don't know what it is about the brown noise, but it put me on edge and made me anxious. Almost like when the boss music starts in a video game but you can't see the enemy yet.
I loved the pink noise though! It felt so soothing and comforting.
Me too
Me too!!
thank you so much for this!
really like brown noise.
white noise sounds too harsh for me.
thank you for introducing me to pink noise. looking forward to trying it out.

It’s different for me the 🌊 sounding ones gives me anxiety because it’s the ocean and is scary
all about the brown and pink. white noise, not so much lol
Brown was the best ... it's like the brown noise should be around all the time....the white noise freaked me out ...and the pink noise was interesting..... maybe for doing tasks, studying, etc ...💜
Brown- baby falling asleep in the car
White- static! Make it stop
Pink- light oceanic waves or a strong river

I couldn't turn off the brown noise fast enough. The pink noise was comforting!
I dont know how anyone can enjoy the white noise 💀 brown is very comforting, I discovered it through your channel last night and I slept like a baby (been struggling with sleep for weeks so it was very welcoming)
All except pink stressed me the f out
All of those want to make me poke my ears through to make it stop. I find music most relaxing and focusing bc it has a constant rhythm you can latch on instead of background thoughts. And it sets the mood too.

Thank you.
I have adhd and they all gave me anxiety. But so does ASMR, so there's that
I don't think I've come across someone before who wasn't comfortable with any typical relaxing sounds; have you found something that you do like?
Brown and pink noise works for me but white noise makes me more anxious and agitated
Same. I found that whale sounds are really relaxing to me though
The first & second sounds really REALLY piss me off. I like rain ASMR with variable layers of sound & tempo. Im unable to read, study or concentrate though, it puts my brain on stand by mode.
What I'm hearing - a massive waterfall, but somewhat muted, a disconnected tv, a stormy sea/ocean away in the distance or maybe just heavy rain
Brown noise for the win. I use the version you have on RUclips almost every day as I’m working, mixed under ambient or chill hop music. Highly recommended.
Brown! I could cry about it lol my body relaxes immediately and feels like it’s gently vibrating, my breathing calms, my mind chills tf out
I had to replay several times because I never knew sounds like this could be so soothing
This is why I like falling asleep to rain sounds
Brown noise helps me so much when I'm trying to work
Agreed! Brown noise is my favorite. White really bothered me & pink noise was relaxing! Thank😊 you

i feel like white noise clears my mind the most so i like it ✨
I have used brown noise to help me stay focused at work. I can instantly switch from playing a game to getting some serious work done and I don't get bored or worn out! It's great!
Pink noise sounds like the fan in my room, that makes me fall asleep. Makes sense now 😂
I just found out about," Pink noise" today. I was trying to take a nap and everything I found was too high of a sound to be relaxing. Pink noise showed up and it was perfect. Thank you for the informative videos. Great job 😊😊😊
Brown noise is, by far, my favorite. Nice gentle sound.
The first one sounds like wind, the second one is rain, and the third sounds like sea waves. All these sounds i listen to either help me concentrate or help me sleep.
Brown- the airconditioning that haven't been cleaned for years..
White- argghh I feel agitated
Static, bacon frying, the plane getting ready for take off. Really, I loved the first two. Very relaxing.
Brown noise is like being on a ship in space.
Brown is so lovely…. White was startling and I wanted it to stop.. pink was nice as well… but brown.. love it
I listen to "Light rain and thunder". Stops all stray thoughts. Soft rain. Every once in a while you get distant thunder, which makes me happy somehow.
Crazy how I immediately identified how each sound makes me feel. Spot on!
Brown and pink is wonderful but white caught me off guard a little with its volume, but I think once you get used to it it can also be really helpful
Brown - calming like message for brain
white - activating for doing something
pink - somehow makes me a little bit anxious
I've been using brown noise for a little bit now and it's a huge help. Interested in trying out the pink and white. Thank you for another great and helpful video!

I loved these hearing examples!!! Will be interesting to test all of them in different situations. The pink sound felt good for me right now.
I have GOOSEBUMPS! The brown noise is so calming ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ thank you so much for your work
To me white noise feels like 'too much' (like playing a song through a small speaker in full volume), pink is 'not enough' (like a poorly recorded song), and brown is just RIGHT. Also explains why I fall asleep so easily on planes, even when the seat is uncomfortable
Thanks I was wondering why I didn't like white noise and my intuition told me pink would be my favorite, it is. Thanks this was insightful.
Interesting. The white noise blanked out the stress from the Tinnitus I’ve developed since 2020 when I was really sick from co-vid
Brown noise makes me imagine that I'm sleeping in a big starship in my living quarters. So comforting.
Holy crap.
Soothing to sleep,
Anxiety and just no no no,
Anger and aggression.
I suspect the third one evoked that response because I was still coming down off of the anxiety so I struggled with the concept of being receptive to the deeper rumbling noise.
Okay when listening back at the third one it reminds me of the droning of an airplane engine which from person experience can either help me to focus on a task or have me fall asleep but not a restive deep sleep.
browns pumps out my adrenline, white takes my negative thoughts away, pink relaxing my body.
ambient music can be a great option. you'll probably find something good if you try searching for pieces with these kinds of noise layered in
White noise makes me awake and focused. Love it
Such a good resource you are
Providing. Thanks for your help
I like the brown best. I have had good results with Centerpointe's binaural beats - the audible part sounds like constant heavy rain.
Definitely the brown noise! 😊👍🏼 And the pink noise was good, too.
But white noise has always overwhelmed me!
Brown noise sounds like being in a plane. Lulls me to sleep very easily. White noise is like nails on a chalkboard to me
The brown noise for some reason always gives me the vibe of traveling through the galaxy on a spaceship.
The white noise makes me physically react and I hate it personally.
The pink noise reminds me of either traveling in a plane or a car which is nice
This is prob why I love the sound of the rain so much. When it heavily downpours, my mind's in peace mode.
Best feeling I’ve felt my whole life!!!! I used to try listening to music as a teenager to concentrate on my homework. It worked okay and drowned out me criticizing myself about any and everything!! But these sounds make me feel like just maybe 🤔 I CAN DO ANYTHING 😆 BEST FEELING EVER!!! thank you 🙏
Definitely liked brown the best! Super calming. 🤎
I love all 3 sounds! I felt instant relief 😮💨 ❤
I suggest trying solfeggio frequencies. Different sound range subliminals with black screen are also good for sleeping.
damn thank you, i have no adhd diagnosed but youre Videos helped me a lot
Pink. I almost instantly sat back, more relaxed and my eyes even closed for a minute lol. I’m going to try that for sleep
Pink noise sounds like the ocean. White noise sounds like a rainstorm outside an open window.
The pink one sounds a lot like my fan. Even when it's cold, I have it on. It's on for noise, it just happens to keep me cool when it's hot too.
Brown noise is my favorite. ❤
Pink sounds like rain, I like it
Love the pink noise, so relaxing. I find brown noise comforting and soothing. I hate white noise sounds. Hurts my ears and I already have tinnitus as well as a constant high pitched sound in my head anyway
The pink sound instantly calmed me down!
Pink noise, which I never knew about before, is the one that does it for me. I’m looking into that one NOW.
White noise sounds like my milk on the stove overflowing
I've been listening to fan and air conditioner sounds for years, even before I even suspected of having adhd. And the sound of my mom vacuuming always made me so sleepy lol
Brown noise is like the airplane motor. Now I understand why flying in an airplane is so calming to mw
Brown makes me tick, white makes me only think about TV static and pink makes my heart race
