Another great Richard Marx song that touches those who really listen. Fantastic message Richard. Thanks for the reminder that we all need to cherish those in our lives and truly value those who have forged the path for us.
I love how Richard Marx does a different kind of song like this. I miss all my grandparents so much, they have all passed away now, and my family seems to be scattered to the winds now.
Hey Richard, you do sure know what life really meant.....very touching song..I miss my grandma..thank you so much for all your songs..keep writing beautiful and deep ones...I love you...
Beautiful song. I've always had a love for the elderly. Even people who aren't considered elderly, are lonely. I've noticed that some of my older friends whose kids have grown up are very lonely. We can't forget them. Cherish those memories. Also don't don't forget who you are & don't let your own life pass you by.
What a great song and a great message. We should appreciate the older people in the world. They can tell stories about the past history books can't teach. My Grandparents have past away and, I miss them everyday especially around the holiday season.
Beautiful Video, Beautiful Voice.. I love your message. for many years I've been admiring everyone elses voice not noticeing my own or even forgetting my own and thats whats happened.. My own has passed me by.. Thank you for that message.. And yes Our seniors mean alot to me, as I am working the nursing field.. It's a shame not too many people are willing to care for them.. Beautiful.Video... Wish you continued success.. God Bless.. :) Peace..
My favorite Richard Marx song ever, fell in love with it when it was first released but after i lost my mum to Alzheimer's last June it means so much more, beautiful song.
Kids need more education about the old people and where they will be oneday them selfs and that gose for adults especially, thanks richard for getting a strong message out to us all i was 22 when i heard this and it really feel for the old more and made me open my eyes to care more for them and my parents today that are 83 to alway be thier for them.
Twenty four and he believes for Sure he's got it made Fame is here for good and Looks will never fade He doesn't know The game is never over 'till The cards have all been played Eighty three and still he feels His best is yet to come He believes that youth is Wasted on the young He's alone The only dream he ever has Is being with someone [Chorus:] Love you when your standing tall But nobody knows you when your falling All you have to do is call But nobody ever hears the silent scream Christmas came and went again But still nobody came Staring at her wedding photo in a frame She's alone We should hope the loss of memory Helps to ease the pain [Chorus] Memories, moments you recall We should be remembered for the Greatest of them all You can't begin to live someone Else's life Or you're own will pass you by Oh, who's to know Maybe we can learn a thing or Two from everyone
So nice to see such a clear version of this video- I have an old VHS tape with it on it, and I never got to read the text at the end. So beautiful. I was raised by my grandparents, so it strikes quite a chord with me in a lot of ways. Thank you so much for sharing.
I heard this song in "The Best of Richard Marx" album. I guess, this album is only released in Indonesia somewhere around 1995. I can't find the album on Spotify. I wish you could suggest your label to distribute that on Spotify. I'm so into with that album. I'm your fans since I heard your songs in my elementary school. I'm into music career because of you.

Paid Vacation is a timeless rock/pop album. This song and Nothing To Hide bring back so many memories of my childhood.

Well... Everybody might think that his splendid ballad is Now And Forever, but this song from the same album is truly fantastic as well.
Kids need more education about the old people and where they will be oneday them selfs and that gose for adults especially, thanks richard for getting a strong message out to us all i was 22 when i heard this and it really feel for the old more and made me open my eyes to care more for them and my parents today that are 83 to alway be thier for them.
Classic Richard Marx ! Love it!
Twenty four and he believes for
Sure he's got it made
Fame is here for good and
Looks will never fade
He doesn't know
The game is never over 'till
The cards have all been played
Eighty three and still he feels
His best is yet to come
He believes that youth is
Wasted on the young
He's alone
The only dream he ever has
Is being with someone
[Chorus:]
Love you when your standing tall
But nobody knows you when your falling
All you have to do is call
But nobody ever hears the silent scream
Christmas came and went again
But still nobody came
Staring at her wedding photo in a frame
She's alone
We should hope the loss of memory
Helps to ease the pain
[Chorus]
Memories, moments you recall
We should be remembered for the
Greatest of them all
You can't begin to live someone
Else's life
Or you're own will pass you by
Oh, who's to know
Maybe we can learn a thing or
Two from everyone
Thanks
Noni Ara Thanks..
Thank you. ❤
