I just discovered this beautiful ballot in 2023. This is from 11 years ago.
I was always a fan of Richard Marx from the early days. Unfortunately I lost touch. Currently going through a Richard Marx binge. I am ashamed to say that I forgot how good he was. Thank you for coming back into my life.

Released the year I graduated High school, but over a decade after I fell in LOVE with Richard Marx… I was an ‘86 baby, who introduced/reminded my parents of this unimaginable talent… when discovering he wrote ‘this I promise you’ … love was rediscovered, then lost, after i finished uni, 2007, i rediscovered Marx again, and the Duo album with Matt Schannell from Vertical Horizon.
Breath was taken, then i heard Ready to Fly… and discovered it was released the year I was truely released…
Tonight, at 35yo, in Jan 2022, i have been re-released, and ALL OF MY FRIEND are learning…
Love this song, I have been misunderstood for so long . after I had a heart attack and stroke and being on medications and trying to keep myself from ending my life. People just don't under stand others when they are struggling but this song does. Thank Richard Marx!❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
