I absolutely love this version. I wonder why the hell the album cut wasn't this. Perhaps us teenagers wouldn't have recognized that amazing "prog-ish" arrangement. And that guitar player, damn! What an awesome performer!
Maik Carballo no I prefer the album version easily. Not into the dual speed of this version. I think it loses its impact. The verses need to be sung with as much gusto and anguish as the chorus IMO
Not me. Prefer the studio version. They rocked the song as the opener to their filmed Palace Hollywood concert. But a lot of bands especially from the 80s were doing slower tempo versions of their songs in the 90s. At least he did mix it up on this version and didn't keep it slower the whole song.
Just seen him at the Albert Hall.He is one of the most talented singer/songwriters to come from the USA.Like good wine he has improved with age.He's 60 now,but he looks in his fortys.The voice is still great.
