Nothing, absolutely nothing can beat the 80s, that gorgeous, spirited, fearless period when music was soulful, and melody intoxicating. Ah! Thank you, dear 80s.
The guy who wrote the song is singing the song, without Auto-Tune. The band is playing actual instruments live, and it all sounds very close to the version on the radio. *sigh* I miss those days, man.
“The minute you think that the past was better, your present is second hand, and yourself becomes vintage - it’s okay for clothes not that great for people.” - Karl Lagerfeld
My thoughts exactly...look at all this.....now the 80s was so fun nice easy....I hate the 2020s....glad to be alive but wish it was the 80s nevertheless
Strange fenomenon. I could felt the 80s in the air not just in music. It stopped exactly around 1991 even though I was still a teenager and nothing bad happened to me. The music reflects that change on this planet.
Yeah it was really great to see him in this concert playing with Marx who is one of my all time fav singers. The first time I saw Koz was when he was a frequent guest musician on Arsenio's talk show back in the early 90's. I was blown away by his sound then & have been a fan ever since.
Good eyes!!! Little known fact right there.... helped launch one another in to another level of stardom ..Koz was sax in the 80's. Clarence was the 70s...KG 90s
Looking back at these videos from the 80's... all of them, Genesis, Marx, Queen, etc... music just looked like so much more fun back then. Seemed more "real" and its too bad it will never be like that ever again. Those guys must have some amazing memories.
That saxophone player is incredible. He went from that to the keyboard and back again without missing a beat. Their all pretty amazing too. I wish I knew knew all their names. I know the one guy is Jon Walmsley who played Jason on the Waltons. Great song from a great man. It Don't Mean Nothing even after you signed it.
dont know why i keep coming back to this video. maybe it's the memories i had to this song. maybe it's the live performance. but damn...that fender tone is so deep...
Richard marx is the best singer and songwriter in the 80s and I heard on the radio before in the 80s song and I like his mullet of hair in the 80s and I watch the music video on RUclips lots of times
Cant beleive Richard says he hates the sax now... I mean fair enough. But it makes this song complete in its original form. The acoustic versions today, there good but this is still the awesome one in my opinion.
He as his sons have beautiful voices and it is like having your own Angels singing to you ...Thank you so very much for the love and caring Richard....❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😂🎉😂🎉😂bsvt
Cant imagine why these days people spend $2000 to watch a lip sync. I was born in 95, so regretful for not experiencing this amazing performances in 80s

audience participation, without a single cellphone in sight...
Me too 💕💯💥
It's like you were there musicians at the top of their game.
It's beyond real, modern "Bands" would run a mile from a similar scenario these days..
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉😢😮😢😮
You don't always see live musicians like this today. The best!
So amazing..live

He was so young here. Love this song. My gosh, the nostalgic memories makes me wanna sob for times gone by
😢
Richard Marx & the sax. This song is still on my playlist ♥️
Dave Koz on sax.
Too bad Richard hates saxophone players. Guess he doesn't stop to think that their solos put some of his songs on the map
Wow 😳 the saxophone was amazing!! I love this song with all of me lol! I love the 80's music!! Richard Marx is sooo good live!! 😍
Dave Kozz.. i think..
Yes! That's Dave Koz on sax.
You need to check out Dave koz endless summer nights..he plays his heart out towards the end
Intentional or not, the tempo slows down during the song which gives it a real soulful raunchiness that is priceless
I love this live version of "endless summer nights".The saxaphone parts are truly amazing!!
amazing live performance, sax blowning, guitar, bass, piano solos for everyone! Amazing intro and ending by Sax
WISH WE CAN LIVE IN THE 80'S FOREVER!!! SO MUCH BETTER BACK THEN. ... EVERYTHING SUCKS NOW!!!

Richard Marx voice is amazing ❤
Amazing! That's Dave Koz on the Saxophone. Listening to him on stage at that times gets super evident his biggest influence: David Sanborn. Lovely!
Love his voice....incredibly 🥰😍☺️
80s music was the last best decade
Yes it was
Great performance from Hollywood back in 1987. I bought the VHS of this show & practically wore it out back in the 90's.
A true master! Long live the roaring 80s.
Dave Koz on saxephone... wow
Yeah it was really great to see him in this concert playing with Marx who is one of my all time fav singers. The first time I saw Koz was when he was a frequent guest musician on Arsenio's talk show back in the early 90's. I was blown away by his sound then & have been a fan ever since.

We've all imagined ourselves in the saxophone-and no one dare deny it.
Man they did phenomenal job
I was crushing on this guy so bad during the 80's. Revisiting his music after all these years. Still love him and his music

I was born in the 90s but I'm a sucker for 80s music 😭😭😭😍 this is one of my all time fave!!!
80's had the best music... the best singers...best songs....not like today... can't understand the words of today's songs
I can't agree more...I simply can't relate to today's music
You forgot about the best chicks.
I've probably listened to this song more than any other in my life.

Comienzo de 2023 y aquí volviendo a escuchar esta fantástica canción que marcó mí adolescencia y la de mis casi cincuentones contemporaneos

dont know why i keep coming back to this video. maybe it's the memories i had to this song. maybe it's the live performance. but damn...that fender tone is so deep...
The real talent
Richard marx is the best singer and songwriter in the 80s and I heard on the radio before in the 80s song and I like his mullet of hair in the 80s and I watch the music video on RUclips lots of times

great performance! I'd say this is much much better than the studio one... awesome!
Cant beleive Richard says he hates the sax now... I mean fair enough. But it makes this song complete in its original form. The acoustic versions today, there good but this is still the awesome one in my opinion.

Wow. And that was their opener? The whole show must have been amazing because that performance was electric. They were all into it. Fantastic
Sebastian Stan made me fall in love with Richard Marx ❤️
Cant imagine why these days people spend $2000 to watch a lip sync.
I was born in 95, so regretful for not experiencing this amazing performances in 80s
Awesome song, don’t hear this type of music anymore
This performance is incredible.
wow, this is our time, Endless Summer Nights
My GOD!! That saxophone!!!!!!!
Diego Saint Esteban Yeah that was great wasn't it? The guy playing it, Dave Koz, is a pretty big musician himself in the smooth jazz community.
Very amazing
Fantastic Live Version!!!
Perfect performance.
🎷 *Richard Marx's* band rocks ... 🎸🎹🎶😉
I saw him in a TV-interview and he was a pretty cool dude. 👍
🐤 *Chicks Love Him.* 🐤 ... 🤔?
Man do I miss the 80's and my youth. The face staring back at me these days looks less and less like the young lad of that time.
Your husband face? Or are you a Narcissus?
Tell me about it😩😩😩😩
Verdade, também tenho saudades dos anos 80, pena que não irão voltar nunca mais 😔
epic guitar solo
The best!
Love hearing Paul Warren playing! Another great Detroit person!
Used to go see him with Explorer every chance I got when that band used to tour.

Ouvindo esse clássico da música, em plena pandemia só assim pra alcamar os ânimos 😍🤗💞💞
Proof that the amount of mullet-tude is directly proportionate to the higher quality of music. 😉
