@@kellyoubrejr544 you can’t hear anything but the TT so no clue what you think you hear. And any whistle nose are turbos. So you are hearing the TT turbos, not from the 720.
@@Executiveinvestments- Uh, clearly not sir... I don't only hear the *TT* I hear it on the McLaren as they make that sound stock. Don't try to correct me on what I hear because no TT makes that sound stock and all I hear is just engine noise from the TT nothing else, no turbos, nothing. It's more of a screech noise once you hear it more... Besides the point, don't try and correct me on what I hear. Some of y'all just try come out of nowhere and just put stuff in people ears.

@@GeneticEngineer Well technically, since it's based off of the 5.2 then it already sounds like one but honestly, a nice exhaust would help... Throw a good intake on it and should be close to a V10 sound! I don't know what exhaust that would make it more of a V10 sound.

Those 720S's are insanely fast, so for this TTRS to keep up with it is insane!! I rented a MP4-12C for a day in Vegas, and that is a really fast car, and the 720S is a lot faster, so man, this just blows me away!! I can't imagine...

Ita extremely quick. One of the moat exciting cars I've ever been in!!! It was having a bit of traction issues by going sideways too. Some better tires would show an improvement in acceleration for sure.

Being faster than you have any right to be. Apart from creature comforts the McLaren is a better sports car in every possible aspect.

I want a TT-RS so bad!😭My E63 is pushing around the same HP as the Audi, but I know for a fact it isnt as fun as having a TT-RS with that much power.
Had mine for about 2 weeks. Radio off and windows down - the sound of the engine alone is worth the price.

People have always underestimated the 5 cylinder platform for the longest time. 4 years ago, nobody even knew a 5 cylinder existed. Now people are starting to wake up.
I wouldn't say nobody, they've been around, but went largely ignored. I remember renting a Volvo in the 90's that was a 5 cylinder, that thing moved. I actually thought it was a 6 until I looked it up many years later. One things for sure, Audi has gotten the attention of the racing world with their 5 cylinders, that's for sure.
My rs3 has a stage 1 iroz engine, and tte700 .. it blows my mind they can be pushed so much further
It has a built engine. Any engine can be pushed to these limits if they're properly built
@@Raven77844 yes that is true, however with this level of modification its tough to run 8's in "any car". stock intake manifold, i believe stock cams etc. stock trans, diff etc. and most importantly these street tires.

seen the Dragtimes 720S run mid to high 9's stock in FL heat. and with MS109 it should easily be low 9's. both cars are gorgeous, but that 720S is STOCK. imagine it with tune and downpipes. your channel seriously rocks

MS109+tuned makes a pretty solid difference in power. And the TT RS is far from maxed out.
Fasted run was 9.7 quarter mile all others were 9.9s
The 720 is on a MS109 tune. Which is a great tune for that car of course. 800+ hp tho in a small ttrs is no joke at all. Look at how close the 60 roll was the first time and compare that to how bad the ttrs beat the 720 from a 50 roll. It's crazy how 10mph can make so much of a difference. And I bet it's not on kill either. But what does that say about the 720 only having a tune and still being that fast 🙌 720 is an iconic car
Dragtimes ran a 9.78, perfect conditions, no spin, a MS109 tune only won't run low 9s, maybe 9.5

@@TENNESSEETRACKHAWK weird I have an RS3, to me just before they go all that racket sounds a bit like rolling anti-lag; I don’t think it’s the kick down because there’s noise before any acceleration. You don’t even need Syvecs to pull that off it can be implemented on the stock ECU. Either way it’s not the greatest thing for the turbine clearly the car goes pretty good without it.
@@JamesReedy Its wasnt. I have a Syvex in my fully built and sleeved RS3 swapped Golf R (IMS 1000 kit) and its unmistakable bro. Ur right tho it can be done withe the stock ECU but u need the proper programming to do it. And that programming isnt cheap. There is only one company that offers it. Cant remember.
@@TENNESSEETRACKHAWK isn’t it Unitronic? I seem to recall someone mentioning rolling anti-lag on stock ECU with them. The stock ECU is pretty capable but not stand alone capable. Did you get an aftermarket TCU controller? Wavetrac diff? Had I known I was getting divorced I’d have prob gotten a TTRS instead of the RS3 😂

I was surprised the 720s won from a 60 roll since the TTRS has around 850WHP and weighs the same as the McLaren. What is the McLaren putting down?
Should have done another 50 roll. I assume the gearing in the TTRS is better suited for the 50 roll because it left the McLaren....assuming the McLaren did let off during the race.

The Mclaren for sure let off the throttle on the last one. I imagine that 720s is putting down close to 950 whp with the race fuel tune. If they added downpipes I’m sure it would be around or at 1,000 whp, which is absolutely insane in a 3,200 lb car.

@@lucasnaya Man you're a biased fanboy. The Mclaren is a 400k car with options, you comparing it being stock is irrelevant. lmao. A 720s is a phenomenal performing car so yes it does very little to me considering I've seen them beat much higher HP cars.
You've a RWD vs AWD (from a 60 roll). A awd car is always at a disadvantage. The 720s is much more aerodynamic and I'd argue it makes more power under the curve then the little 2.5l.
Also your crank numbers are irrelevant aswell. The TTRS is only making about 100whp over the 720s. I do wish they ran it out longer to see who would pull up top but we'll never know.
@@j.w.presents9552 Actually not anymore, these cars have depreciated a bit now. A good one with very low miles could run you a good 300-350k depending on the spec and options and a little higher mileaged one can run around 200-250k also depending on the spec and options. Put in consideration that this TTRS is built and I'm sure not cheap to put all this in it, it's most likely still cheaper but compared to stock... The McLaren obviously offers a lot more and it's still impressive till this day because it's a 4 year old car still out here showing it still has the legs to be the king of supercars. I'm sure the 720s has probably has more power under the curve... But it just has a fuel tune which is a decent power gain but it's basically almost stock as it's not a HUGE power gain. I'm taking the McLaren and I am a fanboy but I gave the TTRS credit tho, it is a wonderful car for the price built and stock.
@@kellyoubrejr544 I was referring to brand new car prices. Brand new TTRS go for about 65k, you could slap an enormous 60k at the car and you still wouldn't be half the price of a new 720s. The only thing the 720s would offer more of is the warranty an even that comes to a end. A built TTRS is a monster on the street were as the 720s is a highway purpose car due to traction issues. 720's seem to do low 10s on the street...shit there's stock motor/stock turbo RS3/TTRS doing that. lol. Now if you want the baller status to the world then obviously the 720s is the way to go. But in day to day run ins with people...along with winter shenanigan's, I'd personally take the TTRS.
With that said I love what McLaren did with the 720s, it raised the bar for all of us to enjoy. I also don't mind fanboys but when they are blinded by there biases, I will call them out. My original comment wasn't to even downgrade it, all I pointed out was it was a close race from the 60 roll. lol. So to say the 720s is just the flat out faster car is ridiculous to say the least.

They do the 765LT and the Senna - both of which have more power and are quicker (Senna is more a track car though).
765 LT is the fastest I think

@@TheJapfanboy successor, all the 765LT is, is just a 720 on steroids... Same body, a few different pieces on the car and other air curtains but beefed up internally for a bit more power and the gears are shorter.
