What I would give to have at least ONE lake by me that had a nice sandy or sand rock bottom
Every bass lake with 2hrs of my home I know of bottoms are covered in weed growth
From May 1st till fall temp drops crank baits that go any deeper than 2' will come back to you hidden in a massive clump of lake veggies
Yeah that’s how it is at most lakes around here!! All on the bottom!
Wow... that would be lovely. Harder for predatory fish to catch a meal... Therefore, if you fish with good equipment startung with the line that fish cannot see... then with the properly weighted high end brand of soft plastic bait that maybe other folks won't buy because they don't want to spend the money for them... rigged weedless with a hook that's smaller, thinner than usual maybe... but, again a high end, REALLY sharp, well made from new alloys, or wire that's stiffened from heat treating it, and then throwing it in water that is VERY near deeper than your average water in a place that the fish should be at for a reason... then you just use all that to cast out letting that bait hit bottom and sit there for 5 up to 15 or 20 seconds... your bait looks just like what they are used to eating and curiosity will get them.
It always does...
You get what you pay for...
If you cut corners anywhere, then you'll more times than not, you simply will NOT catch fish like someone that doesn't ever cut corners for any reason... ever.
You could stay on edges of weeds with a dropshot. Probably less likely to get snagged
Yamamoto Senko is definitely more expensive than the other brands, but it seems that it produces the unparalleled shimmy that bass love. Tight lines my friend.
Where do you get yours? I get a pack of them from Walmart for like $3. 2 packs last me months.
That flick shake is deadly!
Idk why I havnt tried it yet lol
@jakobsime4190 Reckon it could be... secretly, you kind of like NOT catching fish?

Get wacky when nothing works Best technic on the planet 🥰🥰☠️💪🏽
Without a doubt. When everything else fails, wacky will come through for you lol.
For sure. Peg one side and it'll fall wobbling and that'll get even more bites. I'm in New York and caught my pb of 6.54lbs on a wacky rigged googan senko (whatever the brown color is they have lol) fish love that setup
@@mikebanks6704you use a nail weight or something? I'm going to try that
I caught my pb largemouth bass (6.54lbs here in New york) on a pegged googan senko. When it gets tough I always throw around a wacky rig and damn it works amazing 💯🤘🏻🎣
The ole snag magnet..
weedless hooks work great. rarely ever snag
Who tf is recording, a fish?
The person recording...
@@rich-lf1bmno, rumor has it he's tight with Walter, the one that got away😂
What about a cone shape weight on the line before your hook to make it look like a double wacky worm setup
I was thinking that or a jighead. I need to get down pretty deep in the wind
Texas rig works better for me, wacky they bite the ends not the hook
Then the fish are to small or your hooking them to early
@@K47EDITSi agree. The bite on the wacky is similar to fishing with live bait. It isn’t a quick smash like a lure
Back in the 90s, there was the Jersey Rig. It was a floating stick worm, like a senko, you hooked in the middle and twitched across the surface.
Yamamotos nailed ot, they drop so slow n easy bass just catch it on the fall everytime😊
Thats gorgeous. What is that acting called?
gotta try that weighted wack 🔥
I've tried one style, they call them asprin head I think, I just don't like how fast it falls..don't get me wrong, I've caught but it's not as productive for me where I fish
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🔝🔝🔝
thats whacky
Literally all I use. Bass cannot refuse it
มันง่ายเกิน
One of my most favorite ways to fish!!!
The slinko neko hooked has worked for me lately
How deep can you fish this rig? I have a bunch of these but my lakes are super deep with the high water now and idk what im doing anymore
It all depends on how slow you want to fish. You can fish the wacky rig as deep as you want, but you will have to wait for it to sink to the bottom. There also many versions of a weighted wacky hook that will make it sink a little bit faster.
Depends on how long u wana wait for it to fall😂
My PB on a greenpumpkinmagic #senko in 4ft of water in a retention pond is 8.70lbs. Scary stuff when ya have a 6lb. braid mainline and a 8lb flouro leader and she wants to go into the brush 😬
Wow, in a retention pond...
@@citizenGman they're allover the place down her in #browardcounty
how can I get my senko to actually sink. it takes ages for it to sink
Use that weighted hooks or use yamamotos, yum fingers float more than Gary
@@bigsquish6036 I'm calling them yum fingers now
@@potatoe1bread358that's what the bass think too lol
