After landing her dream job in Paris, Chicago marketing exec Emily Cooper embraces her adventurous new life while juggling work, friends and romance.
Emily in Paris: a show about American entitlement and cliché
As a french, I can say that we are quite proud of our culture.. Maybe it was a TERRIBLE idea to insult it in every single way possible?!
She's such a good actress that whenever I see her face now I'm immediately annoyed
This is actually accurate representation of Americans. I’m Australian and they ask me where kangaroos is when they come to Sydney. Lmao Sydney and Australia as a country is more developed than most of America. Oh an there’s also ‘I am an American so ...’ excuse for everything.
It doesn't deserve Golden Globe nominations
I get it-Emily is annoying but please don’t hate Lilly Collins. She‘s an amazing actress..
the fact that i looked up “racist moments in emily in paris” and this was the first video that showed up-
I'm American and I just think if she's in Paris on a job and living there, she needs to know French and French culture. She's not there vacationing, she's there on a job!
I did not like this show AT ALL!
Do the showrunners realise how unlikable the characters are?
Thats not being American, is being obnoxious.
"Your language is seriously effed up"
Just imagine the same show, but in a non-white country
Why would you move to country without knowing their language? Like I understand cultural shock and there are many things you just can’t “read” about but language?!?!? Seriously?!?!? And she acts like the ppl there are the bad ones for not knowing it. Man native english speakers really think the world revolves around them.🤦🏻♀️
As someone who's worked tourism in Sydney, Melbourne, London, Dublin and Vancouver, this is exactly how SOME Americans act. Not all but a fair few sadly.
The show looks like it's meant to be a warning - like, US Americans watch it and think, "OMG, is that the impression we make in France (or other foreign countries)???!!" :-)
The ignorance in this programme wtf 🤢
fake it till you make it
She's such a tourist.
I come from Germany and we also have masculine and feminine adjectives. It can happen that there is a masculine adjective in front of a more feminine word. That is normal and it just happened that way. It has nothing to do with sexism
