- We got a new anemone for everyone! A very requested one at that too. This is one wild anemone to look at in the current, with a blue dot on every single tentacle, so pretty. While they need a well established tank to be housed in, they are a great anemone to get for someone looking to have clownfish hosting.
Thank you all for stopping by to watch this, make sure to like and subscribe and follow me on social media, I'd love to chat!

A late night post, but wanted to get it out there before the weekend ended! ENJOY!!!
I have a green bubble tip anenome I just added it about 4 days ago and it in the shady part of my tank will it come out again when it gets used to water quality and lighting great video btw
That’s a neat looking color scheme, but I bet they’d sting pretty good! Very informative video, thanks bud!
I love your videos and have been subscribed since the very first one! Long time fan of your channel. I tell all my friends to watch your videos.
Awesome video!!
Video looks great, very informative! Will be installing one of these in my tank over the weekend.
Love the video, keep it up!
Thank you for watching!!
have been looking at ordering one of these, love ya vids mate
Thank you somuch for watching!
Really good info that you have. Question about if my anemone splits, will it fight with the baby or do they live in a colony
Hi and thanks for everything
I have one seba and when I get food to it,at first it take very good but after some second it let the food slowly out.
Do you know why?
I have the fluval sea 2.0 36 inch on a 55 gallon tank. Will that light be sufficient enough
Nice video! Although you missed out the fact that sebaes are supposed to be brown/tan in colour. Any anemone which have a white body and/or tentacles are bleached (which they usually are from any lfs)! So with white sebaes, the best care would be to feed them regularly with meaty foods while they gain back their zooxanthellae :)
Thank you so much for sharing Matilda!!
hey bro love your channel and my LFS had this anemone in today so I picked one up!! I have a coral life 18-24 inch led lights above my 29 gallon tank. How should I set the lighting? blue light for most of the day?
I have the same light as you just the longer version I believe. I can't find hardly any reviews on these lights and they don't really say anything about their output and if they are good for growing corals??? Have you had any luck please let me know thanks
I have a Coralife Seascape LED aquarium light 48 - 54 inch long, I have a 75 gallon tank. Is this light strong enough to sustain and grow healthy corals? I can't find any info or reviews on this light. Any info or feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Love your videos and have subscribed!
Can you do one on fire urchins. We just got one and it’s a beauty but very venomous
Thank you I needed to see this video
Glad I could help!!
Would you do a guide on the golden dwarf moray eel? They look like such interesting animals to keep!
OOOO that is a great suggestion thank you!!
I started my tank 8 months ago, 100 gallon w/20 gallon sump been through fish too early. Not cycled properly then ich, a gift that kept giving left my tank without fish for 3 weeks only to have ich come back so I used copper. I think I finally have it beat and my tank looks great with many fish doing great. I just returned the protein skimmer and carbon. I do want to add anenomies what do I need to do to know when it’s safe?
Check your parameters, make sure you got a well equipped light, and you should be good to go.
I have one and been waiting forever for one of these thank you 🙏
yayyyyy! thank you so much for watching
We want one pice
Not seen them here in the UK 🤨 Great video tons of info there thanks buddy.👍🏻
Thank you for always watching!
Can you do an All About for Rock Flower Anemones. They seem like really underrated anemones, but have beautiful colors and are inexpensive!
Oooooo yes I love those! Thank you for the suggestion!
Would a stock biocube light be strong enough for a sebae?
blue night lights turned on tonight and after 2 days of the Sebae being in my tank my ocellaris jumped in it. It’s my first saltwater tank and I’m so happy and super surprised the ocellaris went for it
The best feeling!
Doesant white mean they are bleached also is brine shrimp better too for sebae
Hey Brock I have a 220 gallon aquarium and currently have 10 clown fish that are about 2 inches long, a vlamingi tang 5 inches long and a fox face rabbit fish about 5 inches long as well. I was wondering if you think I could manage a Stars and Stripes puffer to get along with these fish if I get a very small specimen from the pet store that has a friendly personality? I also plan on getting a Blue hippo tang and a yellow tang. I thought of adding the puffer last to create less aggression in the tank as well @BrockLeonard
I think that will work perfectly. The puffer needs to be fed well because they can get aggressive toward your other fish if hungry. Are you planning on keeping coral? They would be picking at those corals sadly.
Just put a sebae in my tank he does have an orange foot however he doesn’t seem to be hooking onto anything He was upside down this morning so tried putting him on the rock and he floated off back down to the sand and crushed coral floor seems to be healthy otherwise will he make a hole in the sand and stay put
Hey Brock, off topic, but do you have any experience with Chalice corals? I have a thriving mixed reef and everything is growing crazy including my acropora except for a single chalice coral. Its been in my tank for 6 months, but has done nothing. I moved it into different light parameters but no luck. Thanks
I'm going to be honest, chalice's can be tough. My fish always knock them off the rock and the end up in the sand eventually bleaching. Spot feeding is one of the best ways to keep chalice corals.
Thanks for your help. Guess i feel a little better knowing it's not just me. Lol.
love your videos bro! one suggestion would be to turn down the volume of the intro music to match voice volume
Thank you for coming out to watch!!
Thanks for the video i just got one of these today from Petco for $10
How often to feed them
Would it be possible to do an All About on tube Anemones? TIA
Great suggestion thank you!
Now not sure if mine is the same anemone, it is white with purple tips but it has long tentacles and a orange body but I feed it every 4 days and it just gobbles it up, my tank is only 5 months old and its been happy in it and it actually looked to get bigger after a few days in my tank( go to the LFS alot and have seen this particular anemone dozens of times)
That is awesome!
prolly a condy
I have a 15g tank, and was wondering what wrasse(s) would be nice in it
So far I have:
-Yasha Goby
-Tanaka’s Pygmy Wrasse
And maybe soon a jawfish
Have you looked into the flasher wrasse?
@@BrockLeonard not yet that’s what my next thought would be but just wanted to check :))
Can you keep this anemone under 2 current USA IC lights?
yes!
Ive been eyeing these guys at my lfs super pretty in person! Would biocube leds be ok for them??
Yes!
@@BrockLeonard sweetness! Hope you and your family have a merry christmas dude!!
Do they carry on growing or do they reach a certain size and stop?
They can keep on growing if fed well. I've seen em normally get about 12 inches across.
Mine started out looking like this but is now extremely brown. seems healthy but is there any way to get it back to white?
I have a sebae that becomes deflated during the day but inflates when it’s dark. Think I should lower my light intensity? Currently using Radions. I also thought about adding more flow.
Try more flow and less intensity. Maybe the whites are a little too much on em?
@@BrockLeonard thanks! I’ll give that a shot.
Mine is doing the same any updates on what helped or didn't help urs ?
Do you recommend any other schooling fish besides chromis? I’m wanting to upgrade to a 180 and would like something that schools. Thanks :)
Have you looked into anthias??? They are beautiful schooling fish!
@@BrockLeonard not really. I heard they had to be fed a lot & i usually only feed once a day. I was worried about water quality from over feeding also
@@BrockLeonard sorry for such a late reply. Not really.. i was kind of turned off by them when i heard they needed multiple feedings. I was thinking about an automatic feeder. Would that work?
Can Seabae anemones eat cleaner shrimp or any other invertebrates?
So shrimp have that hard shell that protects them from getting stung, but whenever they molt, that shell is soft and until it gets hardened, they can be stung if they swim into the anemone. Normally they are smart enough not too, but I've seen some make mistakes.
Tmc photon ? Are they any good for them as I have both... hopefully they don’t eat live fish
Yes those do well!
Thanks for the video… mine just died😞 $130-140 I had it about 2 or 3 months now it’s was a small purple one…. I even bought the liquid feed and randomly dosed… I don’t understand why it happened… I noticed it moved 3 times and it seemed to like the last spot… I guess my lighting might not be enough after watching your video… my clowns never did love on it maybe it was to small … I’ve not been on top of maintenance
Check them parameters, sometimes they can show you why. Also running your lights too long can harm them.
Yes 👍
Hey Brock what's a good anemone for a 5 gallon nano . Trying to setup a 5 gallon nano for sexy shrimps. I've got a rainbow bubble tip in my display tank
I have rock flowers anemones in my 5 gallon and they are really strong and hardy. They're small and look great. Lighting doesn't matter much for such a small tank so a decent LED works fine.
@@shane6450 thanks I'll check them out hoping to add some mushrooms and other softies into the tank next month
I thank I mass up and got one not knowing what I was getting I only had my fish tank set up for a month and got one I hope I can do this
I bought one of these anemone for a tank I only cycled for like 2 weeks. And its doing fine dont know why people always recommend cycling tanks for years before trying to add coral or anemone.
That's great!
mine cycled only 3 days 😅 but i put booster bacteria and filter media fully a lot😅
Any updates on the sebae's did they change color ?
Most stayed white, some turned a more tanish/yellow color. The blue dots on the tentacles were still bright tho!
Nice video. So crazy that the conditions have to be so perfect in the aquarium. Imagine how fragile the earth's ecosystem actually is.. A few degrees and these beauties are dead
3:59 3:58 Venomous: Yes 4:12 4:22
The white ones are just bleached. I had a white one that turned tan after being under lights for a month.
Sounds like Tupelo, but it could very well be Memphis.
I just got a bubble-tip anemone today for my 20 gallon and my clowns already hosted it
omg that is perfect!!
I picked one up and he’s a few inches into the shadow after about a day, should i be concerned you guys think?
I'd be patient and wait it out. Sometimes it will take time for them to get used to your lighting.
@@BrockLeonard after feeding him some shrimp (that he actually held onto) he moved slightly more into the shade, so hm I'll just have to wait I guess, I hope it'll be just fine
Mine went under a rock and hasn’t come out. It’s been a week. I’ve left him alone but I can’t help but to think that he’s dead under there.
How to earn this plant and which price this
thanks lock brenard
haha thanks for watching
I got a 75g tank what fish should I get and it is my first tank
Same
Clownfish
Wrasse
Gobies

I need help with my lightigh i kno im late but im new to this
Do you currently have a light?
Never hold a seabay nem if you have cuts, I did and man did that ever hurt like a bugger!
WOOOwee that'll light you up
Man I spent $1,600 a year ago when I first started my tank. This exact anemone got in the wave maker and killed the entire tank! 😢
I mean the fish, corals, shrimps, crabs…EVERYTHING!!!
So please be careful with anemones, they are poisonous ☠️
do a video about the singapoore angelfish
Grreatt suggestion! Thank you
