After crocheting tons of pieces for my daughtersbmy son has asked me for a wearable. This shirt is exactly what we have been seeing in the stores. Thank you.
This is SUCH a cute shirt!! I'm so impressed on how it wears on you. I've been wanting to make crochet clothes for a while but didn't think it was worth it for me because I'm short with an hour glass figure and crochet tops would make me look boxy and shorter. Thank you so much for sharing ALL this info and I'm so excited to make this!!
Wow definaitly ill try this after my exam... i love knitting, but crochet also make my feel more happy ❤i love this. Do more and more like this videos... thank you can we use T20for this
Thank you! I'm glad you like it. So, I actually don't think so, since the rows go up and down vertically, and in different directions, BUT I think I would cut off some of the bottom, tie it up well, and then do a row horizontally to hide the loose ends.
i’m having a little trouble with the front panel… do i continue Q1-3 until i end up with half of measurement 1? it’s a little confusing since you did an abridged version and i end up with a small version instead of the larger panel than what you showed😇
So I just finished all 4 panels. Well technically I did one back panel but you said to add a few more chains to the back panel so now the front and back aren’t the same length….. I’m very confused because now it’s uneven. What was the point of the few extra chains for the two back panels?
Hi! I don't add extra rows on the back panel. What differentiates them is that they start at the same length as the shoulder. Basically they don't have a neck hole. I think you might want to rewatch that portion or get the written pattern. You should end up with four panels of the same length
Do you ever get cramp in your hand from holding your work between your thumb and finger? I feel like I can never crochet for more than half hour without wanting to chop my thumb off 😂 Any tips?
I would say I can last about 6hours without a 30min break? I think when I start feeling it I loosen my tension. I'm holding things a bit weird here so that y'all can see what I'm doing better. My tip would be to loosen your grip a bit, tale breaks as needed, and do what feels good! I have a separate video with crochet tips that shows exactly how I hold and move my hook!
Hey ! I love your tutorial, I'm just having a hard time understanding how to start the sleeves. When working on a normal size shirt , do we still skip 4 double crochet clusters from the shoulder seam or should skip more clusters? because at some point you say that we should have 4 clusters left on both sides before the slip stitches but I never get that 😅. Help😄
Hi! Yes, except instead of only having four clusters left, i mean you should have crocheted over four clusters from each panel. start four clusters away on one side, work over them, work over four on the next side, and the start the next row. So the first row goes over 8 total, four per side.
Hi! You can make two separate purchases of $7 for the shirt and shorts on either etsy or Ravelry, or buy them as a bundle for a discount through Etsy. Each listing tells you in the name and description what comes with it. Hope you enjoy it.
It should wrap around your body when it's done, right? And there's four pieces, so your body width divided by four is the width of a panel. Divide by four again since each panel has four quadrants. Basically your width/16.
Hey! I’m currently making this and just finished the first front panel but I have a question… If I have to make 2 of the front panels, the same way, won’t that mean that one of them will be facing the “wrong way”? Or does that not affect the end result? (I am a little bit of a perfectionist, yes). So far I am enjoying it but I do have to rewatch the steps a couple of times to understand it😅
So they should look basically the same on both sides when you flip it. I think because you're going back and forth and becasee dc are pretty similar on both side it shouldn't be visible

Hola Romi! Thank you so very much! Many Blessings 💜🤗💜
Thank you so so much for this...
Best men’s shirt out there! Question for you Romi, is it possible to cleanly “crop” this if I’ve made it too long ?

Each panel should be 1/4 of your width. That means each Q is 1/16th of your width
Hello. This is so wonderful Shirt.

@Showmeromi thanks! I'll have a look for that video ❤️
I'm a bit confused working on the front panel. Should the decrese start when you get to the ½ or ¾ of panel?
Please, HELP!
THANK YOU
Help!
Thank you
1/4. First quarter increase, then decrease on the second, third, and fourth. The fourth is a bit different. Hope that helps:)
@Showmeromi Thank you
What size hooked did you use and how much yarn did you use too 😭?
4.5mm standard hook, and the amount of yarn depends on your size. All mentioned in the video, or in the pattern!
For the back panel instead of doing 2 sides could I make it one big panel
Absolutely but youll have to start by reversing the instructions for one panel. You could even do all four as a single panel.
Thank you
how much chain length if you wanna make a size M shirt?
Best if you measure yourself but from my clavicle it was about 22inches.
Very beautiful 😍😍😍

How many grams of yarns did you use?
CanMt remember off the top of my head but it was four skeins of cascade ultra pima
Oh thank you! I was thinking of making it with my 500g cone
Wow❤❤
I want to purchase the shirt and shirts are they in the same purchase as shirt, shown in clip fir $7.00 or separate purchases, thank you

Hey, one question how long (width wise ) should be each quadrant? I didn't quite understand, love the shirt btw!

How many chains have u taken in total???
Where? Which panel?
How much yarn did you use to make the short itself
Theres a separate shorts video where i mention it. If not, it's in the pattern. I think three balls
@Showmeromi sorry typo mistake shirt** itself
@@atulojha6976 ah. I believe two of one color and four of the other
@Showmeromi thank you for replying .. 💕
Just confirming, can I refer to this and start the project or do I need to buy the pattern? (I'm a beginner, but I know the basics)
Pattern is for people that would prefer a written version or want to support me that way. No need to buy it, have fun!
@@Showmeromi thank you so much🌻
How much yarn did you use of each color?
I'm an XS and I used about 1.5 skeins of ivory and about 4 or chocolate brown

Hello, I love your work and I’m trying to make this. Please for the front panel, the 4th quadrant do I decrease in every row or just the first row?
Every row, on the top side only. Hope you're enjoying it so far!
