Another leftie here. Love the shirt. I just did a shirt for my hubby using the hexagon method, and it took a while and too many steps. I will probably try to make myself one eventually. However, I would like to try the pattern you have shown here. Thanks for the tutorial.
Do it! It fits way better than the hexagon method. Probably takes about the same amount of time, but it's worth it.

Lefties unite! On the button hole side I would've probably done a few more single crochet rows after the treble crochet just for a little bit of overlap but that's just me. Looks great!

Finally stitch counts all the other videos were wonderful, but a nightmare for me because he did not provide a single stitch count.
