Just finished mine now, I started it yesterday. It was so easy to follow. Been searching for a pattern for a while till I saw this one...definitely worth it❤
This makes me so happy! 🫶🏽 thanks for following along :) I’m glad you found my channel
You made this in one day?!
I know I’m slow and a little ADHD about my projects but oh my god that’s so fast!!
@@Crochetbyemmawhat is the weight of the yarn you used?
@@pennydixon9475 not sure. It’s in the video though
I like that you used a Tshirt as a guide and thanks for sharing how to do the collar😊
Yes! This way everyone can make one for themselves :) thanks for tuning in!
i just finished one YESTERDAY 😭 i rlly needed a tutorial like this i kinda winged it
but i'm def trying this one again! thank u!
I’m sure it’s amazing!!!! Thank you for watching 🫶🏽
Thank you for sharing this! i am now going to start mine ❤❤❤
Woohoo! What colour?
Thank you!! Gonna make one soon 🤩
Woo hoo!
I completed mine. Took me so many days and so many yarns but I learnt alot. I really hope this fits my boyfriend (long distance relationship zeeshhhh) thank you for the pattern 🫶🏻
It does take a while! But how cute :) im sure he will love it. Thanks for watching ✨
how many grams of yarn did u use? i mean if its like the same like she uses, because i have pretty muc the same yarn and have 400grams here. unfortunately this yarn is not really avaliable anymore and i cant buy more of it, so i want to know if it would be enough before i start -.-
@@YpsilonLinus depends on the size you’re making.
@@Crochetbyemma oh yes of course, would be pretty small, like an S or M for Men
@@YpsilonLinus I think it should be enough, bc if you scroll down theres a reply where she said she used 3 balls of the eco yarn (100gr/ball) she showed in the vid - which makes it 300gr.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’re welcome! Thanks for tuning in! 🫶🏽
I completed mine in ig two three weeks. I'm a beginner and I was on and off with this project. I used an 8 ply yarn with a 6mm hook. And it took me around 700 to 800grams. I made the shirt a lil big in size and the sleeves are a bit more baggy. There were parts where i got a lil bit confused but gosh this video taught me so much. Thank you for this 🫂😭
You’re awesome! Thanks so much for watching ✨
So I just finished mine..love it..but I didn't realize I rounded the bottom front 2 corners, giving it a different look .. was n I t my intention but still looks great I think..
Adds to the style!
I really loved it can’t wait to begin with but how I wish you could have taken lighter colour it’s easier to look at
Yeah… it’s just a sham my partner wanted it in black
Hello Emily, lovely pattern. Please i would like you know how many more rows you added to get the desired length?
Hey! Thanks for watching :)
I’m sure I mention in the video as I can’t remember off the top of my head. But add as many as you want! Just remember to write down how many you did because you’ll need to do it again for the other side and you want it to be even.
Thank you!
Does acrylic yarn work for this project? I want to make this for Father’s Day and I’m in a rush as I’m also a beginner!
You can, but I recommend a nice soft yarn that feels good seeing as it’s to wear :)
Hie Emmy how much yarn will be needed for this project want to make one for my brotherrr❤ love ur workkkk
Cute! I used about three of the yarn I show :)
hi hi!! I started my first hexagon and I’m not entirely sure when to stop - I do have a shirt as a reference but I feel like I reached the length of the sleeve before I reached the desired width if that makes sense? will the shirt look weird if I add more rows to the top of the sleeve to make it wider ? I unfortunately can’t ask my boyfriend to try it on for me bc it’s supposed to be a birthday gift hahaha
Yes! This happened to me too. I show you how to add width and length in this video… but basically yes, you just add more rows where you need them :)
Cute bday gift btw!!!
could you show how the same would be in sleeveless?' is it a big change or can it be made easy?
Sleeveless would be totally different.
why is my message empty O.o
I kind of want to try it but I’ve never made a full crochet piece of clothing, should you adjust for shrinkage as it’ll end up having to be washed ?
I’ve never had this issue. I suppose it depends on the yarn
@@Crochetbyemma OK thank you ! :)
everytime i try this pattern, my hexagon always curls so much and never lays flat. Am I doing something wrong or will it eventually uncurl as i keep adding rows?
@@cheyennelove2647 what kind of yarn are you using?
You might need to block it… as long as you’re adding chains thought it should be fine. Maybe also adjust your tension (don’t pull too tight)
Just a little question, approximately how much wool did you use?
only the 100gr? or more??
Please! I love your work!
I used one and a half balls of that yarn :) and my partners shirts are an aus M-L (hope this helps)
Thanks so much for watching
Is there a way to make the arm diameter smaller? The sleeves seem, to me at least, to be too wide and don't drape well.
Just stop when it’s the size you want.
I like, without doing it, this shirt. My problem and reluctance to make this shirt is that the sleeves of the shirt seem to be way too wide. Is there a way to do this shirt and have the width of the arms the same width of a tee shirt that fits me?
That’s what this whole video is about. Listen to my intro.
✨
How much yarn did this take ?
Two balls of the yarn i mention in the description box
Nice, but demo would’ve been better if a lighter color was used. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome! Thanks for tuning in
Hii! What ply of yarn did you use? is it 3ply?
Not sure but I put the yarn in the video
Hello! Do you think its beginner friendly?
Yes, definitely
Cool! I will give it a try 😊
How many ply is this yarn? What's the size? And what is the swatch size ?
Not sure sorry, I put a video of the yarn at the start to help, or you can Google it - it’s from spotlight. I don’t ever swatch test or care for the ply I just pick whatever yarn I like to use. This pattern will work with any yarn and any hook
The only part I didn’t fully understand was how you kept a straight edge for the torso length when adding length because it doesn’t quite workout for me?
Hey there!
Once you have the sleeve length you can cute and tie off… then reattach on the bottom edge and just keep adding rows. Hope this helps 🧶
@@Crochetbyemma hey yes it does! I got that part just in adding the rows I had to chain 3 into the edges because I think I messed it up but it looks good now and all worked out!
@@binahhadgu9515 oh good!
@@binahhadgu9515I’m having the same problem! How did you fix?
How many ply is good for hexagon shirt? Thank you
You can use any yarn you want
how much yarn did you need for this?
I used three balls of the eco cotton yarn I show at the start of the video :)
Hey, do u have a written pattern for this one? Please
No sorry. It’s just two hexagons placed together.
How many skeins will i need for this project?
Depends how big you need the shirt. I used two.
How many skeins of yarn did you use for the project
About 2… yarn In the description box
Thank you so much
Can you please tell the deatails of the yarn like what is name of the yarn and how many plies it is of 😅
It’s all in the description box and in the video 🫶🏽
Can you please make one again with white colour I didn't see anything with black
Hopefully the audio helos
How many balls of yarn you used
Less than 2. All details in the description box
Im confused how I would know which is the right side and which is inside put, i cant figure it out. Can you please help me out?
Also do i join the sleeves with single crochets when its inside out or the right side itself?
You should make sure your seams are on the same sides. So either make sure your work is inside out or right side out.
Do the single crochets inside out. So that all the seams are on the same side.
There’s no right or wrong side until you connect the two hexagons together… then you’ll see you have a seam which would be ‘inside out’
@@Crochetbyemma ooh right, understood! Thank you so much!
@@sanjanaashok1141 glad I could help!
Well done Emma! Firstly, I’d need your partners body to wear the shirt. Secondly, I don’t 😎
😂😂😂 hexagon sweater for you then!
