how many grams of yarn did u use? i mean if its like the same like she uses, because i have pretty muc the same yarn and have 400grams here. unfortunately this yarn is not really avaliable anymore and i cant buy more of it, so i want to know if it would be enough before i start -.-
@@YpsilonLinus I think it should be enough, bc if you scroll down theres a reply where she said she used 3 balls of the eco yarn (100gr/ball) she showed in the vid - which makes it 300gr.
I completed mine in ig two three weeks. I'm a beginner and I was on and off with this project. I used an 8 ply yarn with a 6mm hook. And it took me around 700 to 800grams. I made the shirt a lil big in size and the sleeves are a bit more baggy. There were parts where i got a lil bit confused but gosh this video taught me so much. Thank you for this 🫂😭
So I just finished mine..love it..but I didn't realize I rounded the bottom front 2 corners, giving it a different look .. was n I t my intention but still looks great I think..
I'm absolutely obsessed with these shirts and I want to make one for my husband, and I have one question for y'all who made this, how much yarn did you use (preferably in grams) Thank you XOXO P.s I appreciate your video so much! Thank you❤️❤️
Thank you for this video. I like the solid color hexagon, looks classy to me. I am going to try it and love the idea of measuring it with a tee shirt. Also do you think it is a way to make it a pullover? I also will make a black or navy blue. I love the black color !!
hello, it's been some time I started mine. I finished both of my side panels, but the front of the side panels has an extra row than the back panel. Since both of the side panels have an extra row, i am unable to figure out where did I go wrong. Could you help me with an insight please?? i really really can't wait to finish mine
Which ply yarn did you use? I actually started making one w acrylic yarn and felt that it might be too thick and not breathable for my bf. So I was going to get cotton one. Should I take 100% cotton or a mix of cotton and polyester? And what ply should it get? 3 or 2?
I love this pattern! started mine two days ago in green for my boyfriend ! Almost done with the first part of one sleeve 😆 I hope to have it done by HARD Summer in August! How many hours did this whole shirt take you?
The only part I didn’t fully understand was how you kept a straight edge for the torso length when adding length because it doesn’t quite workout for me?
@@Crochetbyemma hey yes it does! I got that part just in adding the rows I had to chain 3 into the edges because I think I messed it up but it looks good now and all worked out!
Hey! Thanks for watching :) I’m sure I mention in the video as I can’t remember off the top of my head. But add as many as you want! Just remember to write down how many you did because you’ll need to do it again for the other side and you want it to be even.
I’m getting the stitching but as I get bigger it’s kinda curling like a snowflake I’m turning too ive even started over on a new yarn to make sure will it straighten out once I get as large as the sleeve? Or should I stretch it now?
I like, without doing it, this shirt. My problem and reluctance to make this shirt is that the sleeves of the shirt seem to be way too wide. Is there a way to do this shirt and have the width of the arms the same width of a tee shirt that fits me?
hi hi!! I started my first hexagon and I’m not entirely sure when to stop - I do have a shirt as a reference but I feel like I reached the length of the sleeve before I reached the desired width if that makes sense? will the shirt look weird if I add more rows to the top of the sleeve to make it wider ? I unfortunately can’t ask my boyfriend to try it on for me bc it’s supposed to be a birthday gift hahaha
everytime i try this pattern, my hexagon always curls so much and never lays flat. Am I doing something wrong or will it eventually uncurl as i keep adding rows?
@@cheyennelove2647 what kind of yarn are you using? You might need to block it… as long as you’re adding chains thought it should be fine. Maybe also adjust your tension (don’t pull too tight)
@cheyennelove2647 as a beginner a comin thing you have to learn is tension you can fix it by going up a hook size, adding more chains and just practicing, over time you will learn tension but I hope this helps, another way to fix this is by blocking, specifically wet blocking. ❤😊
