Guys the Law of Attraction basically is that if you wish for something, think about it and give what you have out to the world and it will come back to you in some way or the other, just like karma. BUT DONT BELIEVE IN IT Believe that its only Allah's "will" that can get you what you desire, for there is not even a leaf that falls from a tree that Allah doesn't command. May Allah protect us from shirk haram and the evil eye, Ameen.
So why can't one make duaa and strive hard to attain his/her goal instead. What does that have to do with the law of attraction or karma? If you work hard and pray that you will achieve your goals then that's all that you can do because the final outcome is not on your hands.
I dissagree with your statement. You can believe in Allah and make your goals work with LOA. For instance, if I didn't got enough encouregement from affirmations that I say to myself I would never had a job.

S A B R I N it can also have you thinking you’re willing things into existence by your own will, (which we have no power to do except by the will of Allah) and then thanking and praising “the universe”(that Allah created), which is extremely common. A better alternative is thinking good of Allah and making du’a for the things you covet (self esteem, eman, worldly success and success of the hereafter) and having confidence and certainty that he will answer.
Another one I've seen recently is when people compliment others by calling them a 'God' or 'Godess'. Even though it seems innocent it's another modern day shirk.
I think muslims should also be careful about the language they use i.e swearing on other than Allah, saying things like "She's a goddess, he's a god," or excessively praising someone. Even academic processions, beware of bowing (ruku) to people as praise eg. bowing the head when accepting an award. I'm not a scholar but there's a lot of western practices that are very unislamic and people should learn how to spot them.
White Arabized Islam is no different that white Catholicism & Christianity which all 3 teach a watered down version of the people they Colonized after being taught the truth by the people they colonized then teach you truth mixed with falsehood. Like how do you follow ppl who were/are clearly the enemies of the real Prophet. Like can ppl not read or catch all the errors or mistranslations? Do you ppl not study the etymology of words or history? Probably not just satisfied with sheiks and imans pope's and preachers pimping your brains and pockets. Its sad in 2020 ppl still cant think for themselves.

The ways of the world glorify the enjoyment of this life and it is not hard to be influenced if one isn't careful. Nafisa, you are correct. It is very dangerous for those of us who are not deeply rooted (new to Islam). Like an old friend with bad habits, these things should be shunned as shirk. I remember reading about it years ago, even read the book, and I remember feeling so weirded out by the 'cult' following it.. or thinking they themselves "manifested" what they have in their lives through just thinking it strongly enough etc. It didn't really make sense to me at the time, and still doesn't alhamdulillah, although there are some aspects of it that is obviously true and correct. When i started reading about the law of attraction i noticed it promotes being optimistic, which the Prophet (pbuh) encouraged us to be. تفاألوا بالخير تجدوه But then came the part where you have to believe that you are the reason for everything that happens to you. Automatically when reading such books, i reflected upon my own life. Something felt off. No im not the reason i got children, its because Allah blessed me with children. Just as an example. We pray and hope for the best, Allah either grants our wishes or saves it for later, or blesses us with something better...etc The key point here is that all good that happens to us is because of Allah and we have to thank Him for it.

Law of attraction is basically making dua but not to Allah, which of course makes no sense! Thankfully in Islam we have been taught that we can ask God directly for everything we need ♥️

Totally agree with what you said about the law of attraction! I once registered for a coaching and paid quite a lot of money, only to discover it was about that and I tried to stay but there was no way I could continue with it. Some aspects are ok, but others are just impossible to even listen to.

So for example if you want to get married, you need to visualize it and "feel" like you are married so that the universe will feel your vibration and bring you what you want. You will "attract" whatever it is you want. You are the creator of your own reality. Not God, you. Get it?

Thanks so much for the video I can’t stress how helpful this is. In the time of the prophet SAW disbelievers were worshipping trees, fire, nature, idols. Nowadays In the age of rationalism some muslims like me think shirk isn’t really a problem anymore but new age worship really is about worshipping the self. For example innocent self confidence and self help, female empowerment etc can sometimes mutate into toxic forms of shirk: like , ego-spirituality about good vibes and being one with nature and then there’s the “slay goddess” culture - i mean remember Ariana grande recent video? Shaytan can be subtle but Inshallah we stay diligent.

For example, if someone lengthens his prayer because someone is watching him and not for the sake of Allah swt. Showing off about your car or other aspects of life is definitely something people should try to refrain from but in general it's not an act of shirk.

I was just wondering if someone had thought about the law of attraction and positive thinking in relation to Islam. You are right there are many similarities and it’s safer to align it with Islam first and foremost. So, I want this in my life if it’s bets for my den and Akita inshaallah is safer. Affirmation as promoted by Napoleon Hill is basically the shahada. It’s actually intriguing in that they take from Islam but don’t acknowledge Allah. May Allah save us.

When i started reading about the law of attraction i noticed it promotes being optimistic, which the Prophet (pbuh) encouraged us to be.

But then came the part where you have to believe that you are the reason for everything that happens to you. Automatically when reading such books, i reflected upon my own life. Something felt off. No im not the reason i got children, its because Allah blessed me with children. Just as an example. We pray and hope for the best, Allah either grants our wishes or saves it for later, or blesses us with something better...etc The key point here is that all good that happens to us is because of Allah and we have to thank Him for it.
I didn't finish watching the video and then I finished it and realised u talked about the law of attraction alhamdulillah this came at the perfect timing as I was learning about this and didn't know if it was haram
Law of attraction is basically making dua but not to Allah, which of course makes no sense! Thankfully in Islam we have been taught that we can ask God directly for everything we need ♥️

Same goes for calling nature ‘mother nature’. Nothing has free will but humans, jinns and animals (to a certain extent). Everything in this world comes from Allah. We should not forget that
A.S Why wish upon a star or ask for the universe (law of attraction), the creation, when you can ask the CREATOR. If you aren’t asking Allah, aka making dua, then you are asking some one or something else.
Modern day shirk are big time mind games.
Same goes for people who are big time gym fanatics and people who eat ‘clean’. They worship them selfs. They think that the ‘perfect’ body and health is giving by them selfs.

@@xSunnyDaysx I would not consider it shirk personally if it's science. I guess it's the way you apply the scientific theory in your life. Some people make it mystical but it really isn't. It's just that, science. It actually seems like something that quantum mechanics would agree with. Allahu Alem.

Totally agree with what you said about the law of attraction! I once registered for a coaching and paid quite a lot of money, only to discover it was about that and I tried to stay but there was no way I could continue with it. Some aspects are ok, but others are just impossible to even listen to.

So for example if you want to get married, you need to visualize it and "feel" like you are married so that the universe will feel your vibration and bring you what you want. You will "attract" whatever it is you want. You are the creator of your own reality. Not God, you. Get it?

Thanks so much for the video I can’t stress how helpful this is. In the time of the prophet SAW disbelievers were worshipping trees, fire, nature, idols. Nowadays In the age of rationalism some muslims like me think shirk isn’t really a problem anymore but new age worship really is about worshipping the self. For example innocent self confidence and self help, female empowerment etc can sometimes mutate into toxic forms of shirk: like , ego-spirituality about good vibes and being one with nature and then there’s the “slay goddess” culture - i mean remember Ariana grande recent video? Shaytan can be subtle but Inshallah we stay diligent.

MashaAllah tabarakAllah sis, very informative video. I just wanted to add that showing off is only shirk when someone does an act of worship to show off. For example, if someone lengthens his prayer because someone is watching him and not for the sake of Allah swt. Showing off about your car or other aspects of life is definitely something people should try to refrain from but in general it's not an act of shirk.

With that said, I will say that I recently clicked on a youtube video a few weeks ago containing a medium. TBH, I didn't even know what a medium was until I saw what that medium was doing. As soon as I realized what was going on, I quickly clicked off the video. So... my question is, will my prayers still be accepted as I didn't realize what a medium was and left the video right after??!

I was just wondering if someone had thought about the law of attraction and positive thinking in relation to Islam. You are right there are many similarities and it’s safer to align it with Islam first and foremost. So, I want this in my life if it’s bets for my den and Akita inshaallah is safer. Affirmation as promoted by Napoleon Hill is basically the shahada. It’s actually intriguing in that they take from Islam but don’t acknowledge Allah. May Allah save us.
