I’ve been watching your videos from the start and love these episodes .. what a special event :) brilliant to see you work the little Alfa, through the twisties, up and down that weird column shift 👹
Great coverage, Harry. I really got a feel for what the Mille must be like as a participant. Good job you did this because that's probably as close as I'll ever get. Thanks so much for sharing... Mauro
In 1965..my dad, a very sorta "his own guy" sorta guy, bought a DKW Deluxe..three cylinder. cable operated four on the tree tranny..47 hp..I loved that car..drove it until I bought my 1954 Morris Minor Convertable in 1966.. The DKW was the terror of Milton Drag Strip..I owned O stock class..best 1/5 mile time of 14.2 @ 72 MPH..with 47 HP 😄
Just started the MM and has wonky door, running on three cylinders and no breaks. “Maintained by Alfa Romeo Museum” doesn’t seems to mean the same as for example “maintained by The Mercedes Museum”. 😄
My first wife and I ..doing the Oil Spot Ralley, in Larimer County, Colorado..1991..We were in her 1978 MG B roadster..full chat through the countyside..it could have not been any different that you and your wife hammering on thru thru the countryside in Italy!! Good on both of you! I came in 2nd in that outing.
Just stumbled across this old video of Harry's. Really enjoyed it, but funniest bit to me is Harry trying to get his wife drunk at ruclips.net/video/mfG3c5ez0Uo/видео.html.
26:30ish What kind of miserable killjoys protest the mille miglia?! Another evocative video this...watched 2011 earlier today and hoping there's a series of further ones after this one. If not you'll have to do another one, they make me want to head out to Italy on a road trip....
A professional and splendid report! Compliments ! Thank you
It's nice to look back on older videos. Love your channel, Harry! Well done.

I was dying laughing about the problems with the door on that Alfa Romeo; fantastic video!
The secret is to not try to slam the door shut but to gently pull it to :-)

and a glass of bubbly on the arrival at your daily drive..can it get any better?
"Giulietta Sprint Veloce"??? You even said 1900 SS in the video.
Of course it's not what the title is. Why?
just put some olive oil on it
